I have to say, i probably would have edited out the tour round the derelict building. Well done for leaving it in...shows you're human.
"how bad can the weather get" when in Scotland never say this out loud ;)
A good old TMF series to get stuck into every Friday! Thanks for taking the time to bring us along as always.
Thanks for watching Jonathan!
Love Scotland. Tmf, fantastic for biking, looking forward to the next installment.....

Glad to see that I’m not the only one to get lost in a car park 😁. I did some of this route a few weeks ago, and the traffic was nearly all bikes 👍. Hope you took some video of learning to fly the drone, that would be fun to watch. Can’t wait for part 2. Yeeehaaaaaa
Great start to the new series. Look forward to part 2.
Cheers Bob - next episode next Friday - stay tuned!

Good to see you up in my neck of the woods Mr F. The road from Tyndrum to Oban is one of my regular runs from Callander, love Oban, was there last week, rode up on my RT fish and chips then home, happy days. Looking forward to the rest of the series, great vid, thank you 👍🏍
Cheers Ian - thanks for watching....
loving this video. Ive been to Oban a number of times, but never on a bike. Looking forward to watching the rest of this series.
Looking forward to this series. My Dad was born in the outter Hebrides...not so far from where you're riding. Beautiful part of the world.
"Look at thhhhhat!" lol! Love it!!! Fantastic.
Nice start to a great tour thanks 👍👍👍👍
Thanks...
You lucky biker, looking forward to the next episode.
Cheers Tony....
All right.....Got me a nice mug of Earl Grey tea and its a rainy day Friday. Time to watch some touring from TMF!
A good start for sure. Scotland looks to be so spectacular.
Great shirt, good start, will watch later....been looking forwards to this!👍
This tour gets better and better Vernon, wait until episode five! Thanks for stopping by - TMF
Awesome!, very enjoyable. On the seats, I purchased the triumph comfort seat for the street triple. My rear end believes it's less comfortable than the standard seat..hmmm..may look for other options. I wish they still did the motor rail services they used to do to Scotland. How cool would that be? board the train with bike one evening, wake up in Scotland ready to go the next day!
It is a superb place to ride round, I was round the west coast over the last weekend of May during the bank holiday weekend. Loved it. Looking forward to your next episode of the trip.
Yes it’s fabulous isn’t it - sounds like I was there the week before you....
Cool video looking foward to the next bit
All the best Pete
Thank you Pete - next episode due on Friday
I enjoyed your video & am looking forward to your next one
Next episode of this series is next Friday - stay tuned! All the best - TMF
Great you're back on the road :-)
Great upload thanks... gotta love bonny Scotland 👍
Superb and its all within half an hours riding from my home.
Lucky you!
Excellent, now something to look forward to next week. 😙
Stay tuned Scott - this one gets epic (if I do say so myself, weather and scenery doesn't stop improving on this trip...)
First part was a blast, great biking country indeed. Really well filmed, thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for watching- glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for making me jealous AGAIN ! I love Scotland, looking forward to the next one Sir.
Great to hear from you again! Stay tuned...!
I love these trip videos! Good work sir.
Losh L'monde... that's how we pronounced it when we were over that way; also, did that run up to Oban (family car)...
Enjoying this... Getting around the Erskine Bridge and/or Glasgow is always a bit of a giggle!
Nice vid. Nicely done.
Great trip and beautiful views.
You wait! It gets MUCH better.....
Nice.....looking forward to the next instalment :)
Same time, next Friday all being well....
Loving it TMF, something to settle down to with a cuppa in my new TMF mug!
What a great way to spend some time :0)
Welcome to my home town Glasgow, Flyer you’ll be at the posh end at this time. Good luck
Cracking start to the series...cheers TMF 👍
What a nice surprise, cracking video, cant wait for the next installment ;-)

Great, very enjoyable.
Great video, well done and thank you :)
Thanks for watching....
very nice video mr TMF .
wish you all the best.
is nice to see the GS back on the road
Thanks Marius....
The whole trip so far is great.. But the hotel maze was hilarious... I could see myself doing exactly like you !
Glad it's not just me.... :0)
Great to see you back on a road trip Mr Flyer, it brightened up my day as I,m currently laid up with gastric flu. Yummy. Lol
Oh dear, get well soon......
I've been watching you for years Andy and still manage to find videos like this that I haven't seen somehow.
Thaks for sticking with me YD!
Having that later on this year, each to there own I like getting the ferry across to Dunoon it is wonderful hope I get good weather like you
I like your video. I know all these roads and the Oban Craignure Ferry, its good to see these places again.
autisticlife I know em more!! I live in Oban
Funny start....Getting nowhere fast! Ya say ya gotta be there when? Ha! Good luck with that!
Glad you didn’t edit out the wrong turns leaving Erskine Bridge Hotel. Very relatable - can’t say how many times I’ve taken the wrong turn and experienced that feeling of frustration. Particularly when you can’t immediately turn around but have to continue in the wrong direction for a while. Once again a thoroughly entertaining vid - thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching - TMF
Well done . Not editing youre leaving confusion ,out of the vlog . At least you didnt approach the wrong runway 😎😎 im from glasgow and been watching youre brilliant vlogs for yrs . Stay safe . OH LOOK AT THAT BRUCE LOL
I have approached the wrong runway on at least two occasions I can think of!!!
Hi flyer. . Your captain here"the flight to tenerife has just landed in new york"....😉😉😉😉😉😉 well done sir keeping it real....best wishes from dave
Cool video TMF !! I love it !!
Bought an air hawk for my long trip to the south of France last year. After doing some short tours beforehand. My bum never went dead. Expensive for what they are, but so glad I got one👍
Amazing scenery! I have to go there some time.
Great trip mate! Very enjoyable and kind of you to bring us along with you... Also, your speed and style of riding are the same as I would choose (just me; I don't mean everyone else has too) so it made it especially pleasant to watch, thanks again.
Glad to have a friend along!
Thanks for not editing that out as mentioned, you literally had me crying with laughter on the leaving the hotel piece, all i could think of was the National Lampoon film where they go round and round the roundabout for ages pointing out the views, think it's European Vacation,it has me in tears whenever i see it.
Love that film!
just watching the footage of your trip up to the highlands and i'm loving it.the a82 is a road i use frequently on the bike and the scenery is just wonderful.
Good stuff - thanks Cameron....
Brilliant video, really great trip and one to think about. We did some work on the Dock, port your heading to.
Thanks to your fantastic NC767 videos. As a result, my wife and I hired a car and toured it last September. Stunning. We want to go back and spend time hopping around the islands especially since we missed the ferry on our last trip.
I’m watching this video at home in sunny Los Angeles wishing I could be there on my GS Adventure.
Thanks for all your terrific videos.
Nice one Michael, am I right in assuming some Scottish ancestry??
I wish you a very good trip!
Thank you!
Hey Tmf,just watched this episode, really interesting to watch,in the 90s I worked at Allied Distillers in Dumbarton as a fitter ,your route brought back great memories.
Looking forward to ep 2.👍👍
Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed the ride through Oban..Brought back memories. Was there in 2012 on a rental Triumph GT1050 travelling with a scottish mate now living in Aussie.
Thanks for watching Chris!
The Missenden McFlyer rides again, welcome back to Scotland, keep up the Scottish patter, hope the weather improves for you, canny wait for the next episode, take it will be the usual every Friday.😎
Think the old offices where you were lost in Erskine was the now empty AA building.
Can’t understand the 11 thumbs down your by far the best on CZcams.
You are too kind sir! Thanks for watching - TMF
Great Video ty, I have a street triple rs and have a tank bag from triumph and also a kriega 30l bag for the back seat , works well
Was in tears when you shared your thoughts on those white vans, trucks and tankers 😂
Quality delivery TMF with lots stunning, dreamy scenery. Enjoy the trip and have a safe ride.
Glad you enjoyed it - stay tuned for more next Friday!
'The panniers are completely empty except for my American Express Card and my cashmere bathrobe'
love it mate !
What a great trip. The video is also great! I ve been to Oban 6 years ago... the town with the small colloseum on the hill... nice place.
Looking forward to your next video.
I m going on a ferry trip in 3 weeks as well... I m going to Iceland!
Cheers Tom
Enjoy!
Thanks TMF, great video as usual looking forward to the next. Just to get it right, top box for electronics, right pannier for clothes and left pannier for the Speckled Hen 😉
Well I spread the Old speckled hen between both to equalise the weight ;0)
Great timing TMF! I'm off to the Isle of Skye on my GS in early July, really looking forward to it. My tip for a comfortable seat - a saddle size piece sheep skin rug, works a treat, improves comfort, natural fibres rather than plastic. Only problem is if it rains......
Glenn Turnbull it’s Scotland, always rains.... although the sheep don’t seem to mind 😀
Great video buddy, that’s the sort of thing I do all the time, take a wrong turn before I’ve done half a mile ,,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Entertaining TMF.
Ahh, Scotland. A place that I want to ride with Lisa (My fiance) with her on her own sled.
I've got a nickname for the hotel you first stayed in, Hotel California, check out anytime but hard to leave.
Twice now in a car I've turned left at Carlisle to Castle Douglas, up to Gourock via Irvine, across to Argyle, up via Oban to Fort William, Mallaig and Isle of Skye, then Ullapool, round the coast to Thurso and Lands End, then down the other side to the Grampian Mountains and Aberdeenshire, Ballater, Loch Tay, Forth Bridge, and down to Yorkshire. When we get our bikes that'll be what we'll be doing and staying in hotels or B&B like you did.
Great ride, thanks for triggering great memories. :)
Was craving for this since you let us known about the tour in Twitter. Keep them coming!
...every Friday for the next 5 weeks! Stay tuned....
Looking forward to part 2.....
Coming next Friday!
Happy New Year Sir. Just a quick note on the long distance leg stretch regime.. A little known fact. Our hearts are built for efficiently pumping our blood volume outwards. So effectively thats only half way around the body. The return trip is accomplished by major muscle movement which pumps the blood back to the heart via a series of one way valves in our veins. Leg stretches are a must to avoid the dredded deep VEIN thrombosis. Happy biking sir and I enjoy the discovery of new roads every time you vlog.. Keep safe my friend; Kind regards Dave.
Cheers Dave!
I have enjoyed your latest videos. Still recovering from my surgery and your reviews and trips certainly help pass the time until I can ride again. Hopefully that will be in August. I especially enjoy your touring videos. While you were introducing this tour to Scotland I thought how much fun it would be to take the Triumph Speed Triple instead of the BMW. The BMW is a great touring bike but those Scotland roads are ideal for the Triumph. It would be a lot of fun to negotiate those curves on that Speed Triple. Keep up the excellent touring videos.
Yes I agree, long old haul up to Scotland on the Trumpet though.....
Bit late to the party but enjoyed that 😀 now to move on to episodes 2, 3 and 4!! TMF binge fest
You’re a lucky fella!!
Yes! Atlast a bike tour....
Good man, all the places I want to go next :-)
Great info as usual, I did nc500 a couple of yrs ago. Would be great to do this trip looking forward to next vid 👍
I preferred this trip to the NC500 (partly because the weather turned fabulous)...stay tuned for more over the next few Fridays!
Nice one. Did the ferry from Melbourne, Victoria to Devonport, Tasmania last October as part of a Perth, Western Australia to Tasmania trip - watching this reminds me of Tassy a little and makes me realise I live in a virtual desert by comparison. Love seeing the water and GREEN plants!
This one gets much better....it's green for a reason though (rain!)
Excellent choice for a tour. Its always strange to see a film of somewhere you go to all the time ( tomorrow in fact) and peoples reactions to it. A great run is passing through oban and down to inverary and back to Tarbet at loch lomond then back up the A82. Looking forward to part 2.👍
I'm envious of you, can't wait to get back.....
In a good place in Fort William for fantastic scenery. Attending the Wildbad Weekend in a couple of weeks so a big run to Aberystwyth calls! Welsh scenery awaits 🏞
