Lol
I've got two of those down, watch out for me at Wimbledon next year!
And be eurasian :)
That's obviously the formula to success...
This girl is just getting cooler and cooler each day man.
I like her self confidence. Very rare trait for a young woman and women in general. It is quite refreshing how candid she is
Exactly what I was thinking. Long may it continue. And may her love of F1 blossom... :)
@@VidzMisc the fact that her parents couldn't be at her US final shows how independent she is. Independence and confidence go hand in hand.
Oh the irony, she fights with such Hellish intensity in her rallies that one might be forgiven for thinking she is smouldering.
@@carolmorris404 Her parents werenât allowed in to the US, yet Lewis Hamilton swans into the Met Gala in New York a day after crashing his car at the Italian GP.
The way this girl presents herself is almost unbelievable. She is so mature and intelligent. She has really changed my view of 18 year olds.
facts not like naomi
@@kenmatthew2639 Naomi has debilitating anxiety. If you don't have first hand experience with it, you'll never understand. Having said that, she's won 4 grand slams and made truck fulls of money. She's doing better than 99.9999999% of us. Even Emma herself bowed out of Wimbledon due to anxiety(severe panic attack). So yes, they are alike in that regard.
Don't change your view of 18-year olds. Emma is just different.
Emma handles interviews so well. She is very articulate and speaks very clearly.
She took A level economics and I believe she is academically inclined. It is just so refreshing to see a person like Emma .
I've never seen anyone in tennis so natural and likeable at the same time - not even my all-time fav, Fedex.
She has a lot of confidence and poise for someone her age. And she is also very thoughtful and respectful. A total class act. Unlike some of the commenters on here.
Because she went to an outstanding grammar school.
She seems so much more relaxed here! Before she became one of the most famous athletes on the planet. But itâs still striking what an eloquent and confident speaker she is. When I was her age I just grunted a lot like a typical teenager. Still do tbh
Looks just as relaxed now. This is a different environment though to answering a lot of different press questions.
Leave it to the Brits to bring class to sports, young people of America need better role models.
its NOT said...we are all the same :) No big deal , REALLY
She's British through and through. Those disregarding her as one, well here's the evidence that she's our girl.
â@@adzmega There's some real bloody kill joys in this current worldđ
am so looking forward to seeing this girl play for the next 20 years. she is just an all rounder, which is the best we can all try to be.
She blows my mind. How can she be like this, so poised and natural, in front of a camera at her age? She's interesting, smart, polite, well-spoken, confident, cool and cute. And her smile is radiant. the sky is the limit for this young lady, no doubt.
It's called rehearsal. Many hours of it.
@@WillScarlet1991 schooling for it, she got A in economic class. no doubt A in public speaking
@@WillScarlet1991 or maybe just natural charisma, who knows. Some people actually have that.
@@WillScarlet1991 The cameras love her. You cannot rehearse that. Nice try, but sorry!
Someone's happiness can make you happy too.
Sheâs delightfully, delightful.
I just adore her.
So weâll spoken , poised, and funny.
The charm, the grace, the absolute physical beauty - and the talent of this young woman will propel her way past Sharapova - If she is guided properly and is surrounded by the right set of people - there is no telling what star she will reach! An inspiration to all the young women (and men) out there! Go Emma!!
Couldnât have put it better! Lovely natural girl, seems so funny and grounded, no hint of ego. Hope she never changes and donât think she ever will.
sigh...
Yes, aside from her physical gifts at tennis (and natural ability is nothing without extreme hard work), and her natural and very appealing youthful beauty, she has bounds of enthusiasm, confidence, grace, and poise. She shows great respect and thoughtfulness for others. She was obviously raised right. A real role model for the youth in Great Britain and around the world.
Why am I watching every Emma's video? This girl got me hooked. Because listening to this teenager is relaxing and makes me wonder why I don't have a kid like Emma. Emma's parents must be really proud of her. Not just tennis, her grades.
She is an absolute dream isn't she? I am hooked too. Can't stop watching every video with her in it.
@@jaydee3216 Everyone said the same thing about Osaka a few years ago. Look where she is now. Hope Emma doesn't go down the same path
@@calvin9187 I think already Emma has surpassed Osaka in many ways. I don't think you need to worry
@@jaydee3216 Dumb question but mind explaining to me how?
Ofc, compare emma to osaka a few years ago and not the current osaka obviously
@@calvin9187 obviously not in terms of number of tournament wins. Osaka hasn't been surpassed, but it's all about opinions. In my mind Emma already has a lot more intricacies and nuance to her game. She is quicker and more skillfull than Osaka who relies a lot on sheer strength and serve. I also think in terms of personality, Emma is a sweet honest genuine person who has a lot of time for press and the fans. Osaka has always played hard ball with the press and has an abrasive style in the media a lot.
Sheâs so well put together
Credit to the parents!

@@garymehegan2860 You may say all of that but heres a fact, what ever she is she is already richer at the age of 18 than you are now and more than you will ever be.
Kenneth Green Lol what difference that make ridiculous Reply aa long as you have your health and your comfortably well off which thankfully I am I donât care if she makes 500 million she ainât gonna give me anything so what difference I would have health over wealth all day long no good being the richest man or woman in the graveyard remember your a long time dead đ

Dorin C Iâm not wishing her any bad luck I wish the girl every bit of good health the good lord will bring her Iâve never once said on here that she is this or that Iâm a bad way unfortunately people on here take me the wrong way and I was called a racist on here lol yet my closet buddy for 40 years is a black guy so the fella on here could not be further from the truth but I let the idiot believe what he wants to believe itâs no skin of my back . all in saying is that she to me is not a true Brit Emma thatâs all where Virginia Wade was born and bred in this country. itâs only been since 1983 that you can become a citizen of sorts when born somewhere else before that date of 1983 you could not be able to do that so itâs only by law that this was changed but if this would have been 1982 say she would have been classed as a Canadian which is her birth country so In my eyes or shall I say my opinion she is not a natural British champion as like Wade was so itâs only depol that as charged this . but I hope she does well I have nothing against her at all but Iâm only stating what I think you see where you are born .say a afghan boy or girl as come over like many hundreds have and there is hundreds more still to come and the boy or girl was say 4 would you accept that Afghan if becoming a tennis champion letâs say Wimbledon for example would be accepted as a true Brit if itâs on there passport please let me know your answer then we would have a Afghan / British champion coz itâs says on he or sheâs passport itâs madness totally madness

Great to see a young person with such grace.
I absolutely love and admire Emma! She is a star!
Just think about the 3 people selection from the 1st question:
Ricciardo: Passion/Fun
Jordan: Inspiration/Focus
Keene: Knowledge/Learning

Gosh! She is just so refreshing, poised and cool! So happy for her win! Hope she stays grounded because sheâs such a role model for young women!

Emma is beautiful, educated and intelligent !
But she is not a true Brit Iâm afraid born in Canada đšđŠ so she is what we call a dummy Brit and passport only says different like Joanna konti there dummy brits where your born is your nationality and that is it but the British unfortunately love a dummy Brit like konti and rusedski just to name 2 there foreigners but if say the miracle happens and konti won Wimbledon for example is she British Lol of course not
What a stupid comparison. Konta lived in Australia until she was 14 and played for Australia for 4 years before switching sporting allegiance to the UK when she was 21yo. Rusedski lived in Canada and played tennis for Canada, before deciding to switch sporting allegiance to the UK when he was 22yo. Whereas Raducanu grew up Britain, learnt to play tennis in Britain, has always played tennis for Britain, identifies as British, and has lived in Britain for 16 out of 18 years.

Apart from an unlucky injury, the thing which may stop Emma Raducanu dominating tennis for the next decade plus is her intelligence. She might get bored hitting and chasing a ball around a court, day in, day out, year after year.
What a metoric rise! I can't think of another athlete, in any sport, having such rapid success.
Emma is utterly luminous. No wonder marketers are salivating at the propect of signing her. Raducanu is mixed raced, speaks English and Mandarin, is articulate, natural, charming, emotionally intelligent and is unusual mix of conventional and exotic beauty.
Emma's naturalised country the UK is undergoing a culture war started by the right wing Tory party, the party which brought about Brexit. The Tories have demonised immigrants for years. Hopefully Emma is not used by either side in the culture war because she's an immigrant. I do enjoy the irony of British newspapers with front page sensational stories of asylum seekers crossing the Channel, alongside photos of a beaming Raducanu.
People rightly have a problem with the literally thousands of unskilled young men from northern and central Africa arriving illegally in dinghies on our shores daily. All of them shipped over from that oh so dangerous EU country, FRANCE! A country with twice the land area of the UK but the same population. To compare Emma's parents perfectly legal move to the UK using the correct immigration channels and having jobs lined up is just the rantings of knuckle dragging leftist twat.
@@joewellham1 i have something very personal with ...THEIR HATEFUL lookings they throw ! im such a person that im fully capable to QUIT a nice well paid workplace just to NOT getting those
@@joewellham1 albeit North Africans or my own romanians or just about ANYBODY. u dont throw me that lookings...without having it :S
@@joewellham1 I know the internet golden rule is: donât feed the troll. But I canât resist. Being called a âknuckle dragging leftist twatâ by someone with the geo-political understanding of a 10 yr old Sun reader really tickles my pickle. Iâm not surprised at your angry response. The Tories have been waging a culture war aimed at dividing and distracting the population from their corrupt and incompetent government. Itâs a tactic used by corrupt regimes throughout the world, throughout history. The culture war is about to heat up with the Tories promoting Nadine Dorries to culture secretary.
The people arriving in dinghies are not âillegalâ. People have the right to apply for asylum in any country that has signed the 1951 Refugee Convention. The people are mostly coming from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, countries in turmoil following Western military intervention. Other people are coming from the Sahara and Sahel regions, where a myriad of problems, including European colonialism, has resulted in political unrest and violence. People arenât coming to the UK for the benefits and pensions, which are some of the worst in Europe.
The UK takes far fewer refugees than other countries, including other countries in Europe. Germany and France take far more than the UK. Look up the figures. There is a truism that âYou can lead a Brexishitter to data ⊠but you canât make him think.â One can but try.
During the BLM protests, were you one of the RWFWs claiming âall lives matterâ? That claim went out the window when it came to asylum seekers. I bet you were tumescent at the prospect of jet skis turning dinghies away and the attacks on the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. When power is married to cruelty, that hits the right wing in their G-spot.
How could you possibly know the asylum seekers are all unskilled? Given the labour shortages in this country post-Brexit, the UK needs thousands of low skilled workers in many sectors.
I hope when Raducanu inevitably losses, or goes through a form slump or is involved in a scandal (real or imagined) the racists in the UK donât turn on her. The UK tabloid press love building up a celebrity and then viciously turning on them. The racists may attack her in the same ugly manner they did the black footballers who missed penalties in the Euro final. Immigrants are fine as long as they are winning. Farage - who you probably have a portrait of on your mantlepiece - said he wouldnât want to live next to Romanians. Just because one Romanian has raised a preternaturally gifted athlete, doesnât mean Romanians here are safe from prejudice. The new Aukus pact the UK has just signed with the US and Australia, will escalate the cold war in the Pacific with China, Raducanuâs motherâs country of birth. Itâs for these reasons, Iâm concerned a young athlete could get dragged in to the UKâs culture wars.
@@wundurra24 I bet you voted for Corbyn. Say no more.
