What is happening with the price of vehicles? I see this is a global phenomenon. Prices are going up while incomes remains stagnant. Soon, we will not even be able to afford a wheelbarrow!
A mustang is 1.250.000 bucks in turkey mate and even it will be more expensive next days. We live in hell. I think you should be more ok with your numbers tho :)
You have to consider that vehicles have much more technique on board then back in the Days, the engineering, production, marketing and implementation aren't free of charge. You see back then cars were developed with a handful of people. Nowadays you have a team of engineers on several different parts. This A6 has more computing power than the first spaceship which landed on the moon.^^ Thats why cars getting more expensive in time.
Mace Wayne that’s not true. The base version of audi a6 with very little tech compared to the full spec in 2016 it started from 33k. In 2018 the basic a6 starts at 38k, with only some visual changes compared to 2016. Same engine, similar tech, yet 20% price increase in 2 years.

Is the placement of the main infotainment screen a downside of the interior? I mean the central screens of the new BMWs and Mercedeses are situated much higher, so you can keep your eyes on the road easier.

Considering that brand new E63S AMG costs just about 100k euros, it's either he misquoted the 99k euro price-tag for this vehicle, or this model won't sell a single car.

MT Think you must be mis-reading my comment. 0.7 litres. Think Alaatin just got confused when reading the stats. Audi actually says the mild hybrid system can increase fuel economy "BY UP TO" 0.7L /100km. The actual combined fuel economy, according to Audi, is between 6.5/7.0l per 100 km. Alaatin made an error which I thought was funny....no big deal. You either misread my comment or misread the Audi website. Again no big deal, so let's move on.
The interior is the same as the A7 and the A8 and the A8 L one

mostly except the a8 and a8l are a little different with better materials too. It is the same with Mercedes and BMW if you look at their cars too.

Andrew Moroch every car costs different depending on where it is being sold. It will most likely be slightly more expensive than the current one since it is a brand new refresh in the US. Different countries have different taxes and prices

TotallyNotTishue you're completely right it is an absurd amount. But the price of the car in the Netherlands has nothing to do with Audi at all. They're just pricing their car according to the market and taxes in that country. I guarantee the E Class and 5 Series cost the same thing
We pay double here for the same car that ppl in america pay including taxes. But we dont earn double.. Its messed up regulations. The state is filling their pockets while taking it from the hardworking people. One of the hidden features of netherlands..
