My dog Stella had the same thing happen to her. Her injury happened when she was 2 years old she's now 12. About a year ago her hip went out of socket again, but went right back in about a day later. This was after giving her a bath in the shower and she slid. She came back in with another lymph last night and she's holding it up again. Do you think it'll go back in the socket like it did a year ago

i went to the vet for the same thing. the vet told me that a bandage on the hip doesn't work so he didn't put one on. the next day it slipped out and now he says that only Sergey can be done. he said if we cant afford Sergey (witch we cant) we need to put my dog to sleep. wtf. could this have been prevented if he would of put a sling on my dogs leg? now its Christmas and everyone's fucking having a horrible time because we are scared we have to put my dog to sleep.

Or vets are held responsible for people's finances. If we do their work for free, we have to raise prices for everyone else to help cover the lost cost. Do you want to pay for other people's pets?

Gently but steadily pull on the legs towards yourself evenly while you brace the crotch or stomach with your foot. A relaxed state is needed first, maybe while sleepy. Stop immediately if the dog shows any signs of distress, and try again later. Eventually you'll be successful. Your dog will thank you.

Tanvir Hafiz “towards yourself” if you’re standing at which position in relation to your dog? Are you at the rear of the dog? Are they on their side, with injured hip on top of the other? Please elaborate, this just happened to my Doberman. Thanks in advance

@@freewillmusic808 Pulling towards yourself means "traction". I meant for you to lay down on the ground on your side, with your dog also laying down on it's side, opposite to you. If your dog is facing north, you face the opposite direction, or south, both of you laying on the ground, on your sides. Pull with traction (google "traction"). Alternatively, if you can actually see where the joint is out of place, just try to massage it back into it's natural position.
