- So I have some pedals , yep I’m indecisive on clipless yes I love bike parts. Here is a look at the One up components aluminum pedals against the Shimano Saints vrs Raceface Affects.
Let’s take a look - Sport
I just bought the Raceface Atlas... I am surprised there isn't too much info out there on it. Thank you for the review..hopefully it works and isn't too small.
MTB MOR they are great pedals. About the same size as Raceface Chesters
OneUp best design and engineering. Best in market. The aluminum ones kick ass and are superior to the composite version.
Just received my oneups and was dissapointed how the bearings spin slowly... (they seem tight) i was anticipating a free flow spin on such a pedal. Do you find that yours have loosened up (in a good way) the more you break them in?
shahids training they stay firm bearing wise. I kinda like it thought. When you take a foot off they tend to stay located. I think that is a positive
Looks like you have crank boots. Did the One ups fit ok with them or did you have to add a washer or enlarge the hole on the boots? That's my only concern.
Nope they fit just fine without any mod to the boots
Do you happen to have the RaceFace Atlas pedals or OneUps that you were willing to part with? I was hoping to match them to my bike!
I don’t sorry
That inner bearing kept my foot from going close to the crank and created problems for me. Interested to see your experience
Stuart English I rode them on my afternoon ride. I didn’t have any problems with the bearing bump. I ride wide on pedals to start with though
cant use them with crank arm boots for carbon cranks either. Also mine started to squeak after a few weeks of pretty hard riding OneUp recommended I rebuild the internals by purchasing their rebuid kit so I did....still squeak on occasion when they get wet.
Looking at the Oneup ones, would you still recommend them?
+Dot Dot yes they are outstanding !!
Which grease should I use for the inside and the threads of pedals?
Park poly lube or any high quality grease
@@themiddleagemasher8108 Just to be sure. Will that work for the threads and the ballbearing(s) inside the pedal too?
@@unogazzy84 yep
@@themiddleagemasher8108 Thanks.
How was the rafe face compared to the others? what about the weight?
Daniel Gonzalez if you have a smaller foot the race face is rad. Weight. They are light but at how many grams ....... I dunno really
@@themiddleagemasher8108 thanks!
Hello, have you noticed any less pedal strikes?
Eugene Soccer maybe a little. My bike is pretty low and Arizona has chunk so I still do hit them once in a while
