Saw this and thought it might interest you.
RBRC Gyro, extended steering arm (servo rack), front fenders cut in half and swapped to 1801 smaller wheels. Smooth like butter with no random spinouts.
Get the RB gyro ($10) with polarity swith (direction) and the visible knob for gain.
Dont get the flyre gyro with tiny screw for gain, its not sensitive enough at low setting and super wobbly at high. Theres no in between.

Phil, modify it to use hobby-grade electronics like gyro, servo, etc. That would be an awesome video. I bet you can do it on the cheap. You're good at swapping these little things.

@TomleyRc Show everyone what the A&B buttons do if you hold them down… it reverses the steering, and reverses the polarity of the motor. I’ve seen some people who’s ’out the box’ cars have steering opposite to what it should be. Just hold the B button down and it reverses it. Toe in on the back and toe out on the front, everything including giro on full and it’s a beast! Hold C down for just hazards lights 👍🏻
3:00 I had a bunch of maisto and buragos and had a yard sale and put a bunch out. $20 each. A family pulled up with a little boy and he was all up on 1 but dad wouldn't buy it for him "too much $$" so I saw the look of disappointment on the kid's face so I handed it to him. Go on, have a nice day. WHAT? kid was like overjoyed....That was worth more to me than the $20.....
They weren't driving a posh car or anything, it's not like they were rolling in dough.

I've only recently discovered small indoor drift RCs, and I've got to say, it's the most RC car fun I've had in decades. Highly recommended, especially as you can have that fun indoors, and they're light so they don't break too easily, plus my kids love it!
Looks fun. This type of indoor mini RC car is very relevant to those of us in the UK with our constant, unpredictable, sh#t weather.

Mate, you should review the austar ax8560/jjrc c8801 1/18 rc crawler
Its basically a trx4m with injora wrangler body and electronics for like 40% of the price of the actual trx4m and it at least has ball bearings stock
Boom Just got mine, unplugged the front indicators, adjusted the camber and toe it was not the same both sides.

I love my blue model. I have an aftermarket 80° angle kit, afrc v4 gyro, custom wheels and wheel spacers in the front

I got my blue one couple of weeks ago and so disappointed was damaged all ready unfortunately in to the box I thinking get new one but will see.

ive piced up the ldrc rx7 off your recommendation, as well as the 1/76 turbo racing cars. enjoying the ldrc one, had a question about whether or not your 1/76 drift cars front wheels were seemingly not very straight out of the box? i bought 2 of the eclipse ones and both front wheels were bowed out oddly

Why do these cool drifting cars cost so damn much. Nvm this one is quite cheap for what it is, I’m talking about the mini turbo ones tho, 100$ for a tiny hot wheel that drifts, I think this bigger one is a lot better
The reviews on the website are so hit or miss, some come perfect others can with broken control arms and such
