Kymco Xciting 400i - Drive Belt Part1

This video shows how I went about replacing my drive belt, it was fairly simple to do, the only problem was undoing the main drive nut. In the video you see the tool I made from 4" (110mm) dia pipe which I cut and shaped to fit over the cooling fins.

No need to make a plastic tool simply remove the case by undoing the bolts pull the casting off and the flywheel at the Front has to holes in it to place a toot that holds the flywheel making it easier to undo with lots of space to work I

Mr Roggon - boil yer head pal. At least this bloke has made an effort to show how it can be achieved without paying extortionate bills at your LBS IF they can be arsed. You're kiddig, aren't you ?
In fact you have to REMOVE the aluminium cover FIRST and than there are special blocking tools for the vario and clutch.
Everyting else is RUBBISH !!! Blocking your clutch via the rear wheel - what a stupid idea !
Also you destroyed the sealing as far as I can see - oh dear !
By the way ... your belt has to be replaces it it measures 26 mm or less and not only if it look well or not.
There are just two advices from my side:
1.) For future repairs visit your local dealer.
2.) Please do NOT publish a second part of your "fantastic" self-repaire video.

i am no expert at all and thinking of buying a kymco xciting 400 2015. and may possible do a few jobs on it. so would he a have a problem as i have seen it done a different way
