    The score keeper literally had only ONE JOB, to push a button to add points and he miserably failed to do that job. He needs to be fired and replaced by someone that knows how to push a button that adds points to a wrestler.

      Still happens a year later, let me keep score. Pretty sure any of us can do better.
      Actually we all could, not freaking rocket science for someone who knows wrestling.

    Yes, I’m commenting after the Midlands. This match isn’t that much different except Lee got off to a great start. Lee is by far the best wrestler at his weight class when he is at his peak. However, he has shown himself to not have the necessary stamina to perform at the same level all three periods. I understand guys like him weren’t challenged in high school and won most of their matches in the first period or coasted through two or three periods if necessary. But every top level college wrestler dealt with that same thing. Lee has to correct this part of his wrestling. I usually don’t like college wrestling because it’s always a tactical battle, but this kid is different; that’s why everyone loves him. He makes the sport fun, but he may need to dial it back during the first period, so he can better pace himself.

      Interesting enough he looked like he had all stamina against nick suriano in the finals

      @znhait Před 5 lety +1

      seyfore That’s really the only high-stake , competitive match I’ve seen him wrestle that well all three periods. While it may have been that he was dialed in for the NCAAs, it’s also possible that the fact Suriano isn’t an aggressive attacker helped Lee.

    I hate four point tilts. I do not like the rule change. Should go back to 2 and 3 points for back points like in high school.

      DJ Adriaanse not wrestling like that. Big fan of Lee. Not a hater in the slightest. But has to continue to be consistently good. He might have been in some pain or sobe thing but the way he finished the natch was terrible. I'm sure coach brands would agree

      YestwentyFOUR Wins I believe somethings wrong with his right knee again....I'm 52, and have had 14 knee surgeries with double knee replacement. Watch how he kneels down at the beginning of the 2nd period...he's timid, and that means pain...damn it....yeah, just saw the ending...he's done something else to that damned knee again.
