- In this video I begin de-jankifying my 1988 FXRS. This is the first video in a new build series aimed at the average guy (or gal) who doesn't have infinite amounts of money to throw at a 30+ year old bike. This build is based out of Tampa Florida. I hope you enjoy the content.
Love what you do . I have my 88 fxrs ( same color) already for 32 years now ;)
I'm also currently in the process of restoring my FXR. I think your videos will be useful to me and many others. Thank you.
I appreciate it dude! Look for episode 2 coming out next week! Feel free to share your struggles here too.
Nice man, I plan on doing a budget build thread on my newly acquired FXR. Looking forward to watching. 🤘🏼🇺🇸🤘🏼
That's awesome dude. Yeah, a guy could throw a lot of money at these. But there are definitely ways around it.
good luck sir
Thanks my man. It was a mess but I did get it worked out. I'll have a video about it next week.
Id like to build an fxr someday
The are literally the best Harley ever. There is just some kind of mojo they have...cant put my finger on it.
That's legit mileage beautiful Bike
Leave the Exhaust!
Well it very well may be the correct milage. In a future video, the engine will be torn down and we can really see whats going on.
I am going to keep the exhaust around...but I definitely want to try the 2 into 1 for a bit to see how I like it.
I'm building a 91 lowrider right now 8000 miles. That stock exhaust sounds really good it cracks sounds like a shovelhead. It flows really well as well. I have the same exhaust on mine
Looking forward to more
Replace the whole wiring system it 35 years old. My 87 gave me hell.
Yeah it's tempting. I really want to do a m-unit some day. It's just expensive.
