But Shinji doesn't die if you give him the pocketwatch, he only goes into a coma for a while. It's still heartbreaking bc FeMC dies in his arms :(

I genuinely LOVE how forward the Female Protag is, knowing how strick and overly formal stickler's Japanese people expect women to act it's refreshing to have a character like her.
Even more so in that she's the complete opposite of the Persona 3 protag, I don't like Persona 3 considering I played 4 before going back to try out 3 but I love Persona 3 psp with the female protagonist. Here's hoping when the next entry comes out they do something like this again!

To me, Shinjiro is her main man, the same way Yukari's the Main girl for Makoto.
Sometimes I imagine a "The Answer (Female Route)" with Shinjiro taking Yukari's place, blaming himself for Kotone's death, wishing he was dead and going even mad. But after finding well... "The Answer" he overcomes all his issues.
I feel Shinjiro would fit Aigis' role more (given he knows how much a short life must be cherished), with Akihiko taking Yukari's role.
I think Aigis is usually Makoto's main girl

Although I don't have extensive experience with romances in Persona 3, I am impressed with the transparency and objectivity of the protagonist when it comes to confessing intentions or feelings. Due to the fact that the game is based on japanese culture and FeMC is a girl, I am even surprised by the more "straightforward" approach to interaction.
There is no theatrics, hesitation, shame or shyness (in the sense of not caring about what others think). In many ways, many girls control or filter their initiatives/desires because society wants them to be more well-behaved, discreet and passive. I was delighted to observe a different posture. This demonstrates personality and authenticity by creating a parallel with real life.

As a kid growing up, I get teased producing female characters like Chun Li or Blaze from Streets of Rage... so I was happy to see in P2 the female character was the lead... P3P let's you understand the supporting characters,so much more by seeing how they react with a female or male in situations ❤❤❤

Iirc normal wine is different from cooking wine, though im not sure so take this with a grain of salt

I completely forgot that you can save shinjiro in the female route. He’s conveniently in a coma most of the game but I think it’s cool that this game gave him another chance at life. I love portable. I refuse to believe it isn’t cannon.
