You should be proud actually, they already did what they weren't supposed to do. 1) They weren't supposed to get out of groups and got out only because FW are in terrible shape and Caps decided that he can 1v1 early game assasin on a late game adc. 2) They weren't supposed to win iG, their win was a fluke. They should've lost 1st game and probably whole series from it, but Impact's Neeko root saved their ass. Everyone who's deep into lpl/lck scene knows that iG and Ning are super easy to tilt and this is what happened after game one. It was pretty obvious that Ning is tilted, which led to Rookie not being able to win mid (since it's 2v2 lane not 1v1), which led to JackeyLove being tilted and scared (he's a very young rookie after all). Baolan never was a hard carry (and it is not his job on this team) and Shy cant 1v9, since it is not soloq or lpl match against low tier team. With all of that in mind you still should be proud of them, because they played their best in matches where they were a dark horse and this allowed them to capitalize on other teams mistakes.

Meh. I must one of the few that's not too hurt over this loss. Yeah you could compare it to FNC at Worlds but it's a little more warranted than that. TL was not a favorite to even get out of groups let alone 3-1 IG. For me, progress comes in stages so making it out of groups was that and beating IG like that was a huge jump to stage 3. So the conflict comes in how bad the loss was to G2, didn't surprise me. Unlike Asian teams G2 knows the slow scaling style full of 5v5s that NA does. But, they also know the high agro comps that Eastern teams use, AND they have their own uniquely successful style. They knew what to do against TL and actually did it. Don't let DL solo carry against Perkz, bot lane was getting 3, 4, and 5 man dove all day! It was sad to see but knew it was coming. As TL move forward, hopefully they are better able to utilize Mid and Top as harder carries or all in on a protect the DL comp and actually protect him lol. You did good TL. @@AnNguyen-me8jb The only 3 top laners Impact has been able to be decent on consistently are Neeko, GP and Kennen. Compare that to all the picks Wunder could go to and youre already in a bad spot. It also didn't matter really what power pick they took because they always lost both sides of a matchup, ex the Akali into Sylas where Caps crushed Jensen on both sides of it. TL just didn't know their champions as well as G2 because they never test limits, they always want to go for the 80%+ play. Phreak actually said a very interesting thing in game 2, G2 has used just about every ult TL has better than they did, that was the Sylas game for Caps.
Here's what i saw. G2's "slow and steady" macro is worse than TL, and SKT, but their lane match up knowledge is the best in the world. G2 sandbagged this tournament. They had so many different picks they kept hidden until the finals. As long as riot keeps a large number of champions solo-queue viable, G2 will always be the first to adapt them into a crazy comp. They have the most versatile top, and adc in the world. (I think faker COULD play anything caps can, but he doesnt have the rest of G2 on his team) G2 could really win it all this year. Would have to see how they match up against IG in a bo5. I AM a TL fan, but i dont think there's anyway to prepare for some of the game plans G2 will throw out. Id like to see TL try to push their mechanics next season, and try to play IG style every other week or so. Impact stepped up big in the IG series.
Kevin Moy I mean you can just be good ? Lol you’re saying G2 just cheesed their way to win it all which is really ignorant lol I’m an Na fan but G2 are just better in every single way .. they played faster than TL , they have better mechanics , and they are willing to pick off meta comps because they’re confident that they are better . TL's goal was more than achieved with also having the bonus of beating the reigning World Champions so of course they feel more relaxed than SKT which is a top tier team that has had the most success in history and after a crappy year, they rebuilt their team to get back into victories and as you know, Koreans are like that. Work Ethic and Posture, it's in their blood so of course it hurts them more to lose to a West team than TL.
just in general, I wish TL was looser. They take themselves so seriously. Look at how G2 are playing. Even when they get smacked, they're having a good time. Keeping it loose like that lends itself to creative play.

It is expected for jankos to comes if it is exploit able and they didn’t make it too hard impact has his comfort picks but it seems they need to match g2 pace so resorting back to comforts and not sylas irelia etc didn’t work out for them. If you looked at ig series or even group stage they lost almost everytime g2 picked sylas or even ig picked sylas. Also pickkng gp is an invitation to gets shit on too reactive of a champion in this meta imo & even dlif says they play bad when reacts
Sound quality is just so bad. This kind of videos are basically useless. Can't hear anything even with 100$ headphones.
Yes! They dont even need expensive equipment! A simple backround noise reduction could make it watchable....
My headphones are 200€ and I hear them just fine
I have a 100$ earphone and it works perfect
I can hear everything with 35 € headphones
Btw, they didn’t hide anything for finals , everything they played was shown in groups and semis.
@@anthonydominguez4744 is that what you got from what i said?.. having different styles is not cheese, i never said anything about cheese. I literally said g2 could win worlds this year.
@@kevinmoy3752 maybe you should say it in simpler way since he is not good at reading lol
Is this the first time to have press conference on lol esports? Wtf. Can’t wait for worlds2019
not there's one everytime for a long time now
Are you slow ? They’ve had these for years now
Quite disrespectful of Darius from the shotcaller, sure they lost and pretty much got dominated, it was uncalled for to rub it in their face like that
Mohamed Ammar he salty because no one relevant from na will do an interview with him and let’s be real you ain’t getting that many views interviewing eu players
@@GBSaSu I'm sure winners are more popular than losers NAmen
He also lost his job once before because he couldn’t get any sponsors lol wonder why
Mohamed Ammar what’s the timestamp On this??
TheAquamarine4 i didn’t bother watching the whole video so im not sure of the exact timestamp but he uploaded it to his channel the shotcaller as a single one minute clip and most of the comments on that were very negative too, even from G2 fans
The audio quality is really bad!
Team Liquid did really well! Proud of my NA boys all I know is..we can say we beat IG whereas G2 have failed for two years in a row.
Kind of scary how IG TheShy, Ning, Rookie, Baolan and Jackeylove's contracts don't expire until November 2021....Gunna be seeing them at worlds for the next couple of years...
6 KOREANS 1 EU PLAYER , AND THE BEST IS THE EU PLAYER LULW
No there are 3 koreans....get ur shiit right....
@@jakubmateju3092 there are only 2 tho
I have always thought NA=EU since they all performed not well in the last couple of years but now EU>NA RIP meme
Compare he body language of liquid to the body language of skt in these pressers. Imagine the difference in team environment after these losses
Yep and then you compare trophies and you understand
TL's goal was more than achieved with also having the bonus of beating the reigning World Champions so of course they feel more relaxed than SKT which is a top tier team that has had the most success in history and after a crappy year, they rebuilt their team to get back into victories and as you know, Koreans are like that. Work Ethic and Posture, it's in their blood so of course it hurts them more to lose to a West team than TL.
Hugo Pires 100% agreed
just in general, I wish TL was looser. They take themselves so seriously. Look at how G2 are playing. Even when they get smacked, they're having a good time. Keeping it loose like that lends itself to creative play.
TL was just happy to be there. Expectations for any Faker / LCK team are higher than a wild card region.
No Questions for Xmithie BibleThump
"Why do you play like trash?"
TL drafts scaling vs G2s early game fighters. Ggwp @ draft.
poor TL.
wait,2 of 5 players need an english translator?
how do these guys even communicate during a match?
coach does also look asain, does he speak english?
Use common sense. You don't speak in sentences during a match, of course imports knows a few phrases even if they're just screaming champion names, and they can understand english and are still learning english
@@keithdenzelroque2072 "NA players" "NA team" btw
hans anders impact has been in NA for 4 years already and still needs a translator, that’s a fucking joke
4:03 jensen trying to save his job. lolol. he got shit on and he says "I didn't have anything to learn from him".
haha yes.. he is faaaar away from top level midlaners
NA players that don't even speak English. That shows how desperate NA coaches are and how short the talent is there. Lol
NA coaches? Shouldn't that be NA owners*
Coaches have nothing to do with how a team roster is built lol.
Aivarioha some of those NA coaches arent even NA
China does the same thing. IG has 2 Korean players and a Korean coach.
MrHamptonRoads china doesnt have 3 imports on a team, with TL soon to have 4 if they choose to replace xmithie
@@jc_09 You are saying you don't realize that people who own these competition companies a lot of times don't even have a clue about the games? Guys that build companies don't sit in front of their computers and play videos games all day. Not only that they wouldn't even have time to scout out for the players. They are "sponsors" and companies don't run themselves. Coaches and other staff are responsible for recruiting talent.
lol.
Doublelift is overrated imo
audio is so bad...
TL definitely need to replace Xmithie. Passive junglers just don't work anymore in 2k19. They need to sign a jungler like sven who I think is the best in NA or maybe Blaber. Xmithie gots to go.
They really did beat IG, theworld champions, just to choke against Europe again, yikes
I don't think they choked.... G2 was jsut fearless. If caps isn"t pressured, gg.
Swap junglers and TL would win 100% 😂🤣🤣
Never had a chance, won't have at worlds either
NA flushed down the toilet.
msi finals isn't flushed.

Excuses. Can say the same about IG when TL played them.
Ty TL you deserved the title but we won it by luck. NA is such a great region and teams like FNC or OG would be 8th to 10th there. Its so unlucky for TL it just wasn't their day. Also sorry for fuking your region in your butt for 8 years now we really regret it, but you are better anyway so you shouldn't care. Patetic NA fans at its peak...
