Cubby holes are for blocks for your levelling legs, lawn chairs, garden hoses for your water,BBQ's etc.The trailer battery raises and lowers the power jack on the front.Trailer not too bad of shape. My trailer has the same lay out.Back bedroom is great for kids. That rear table folds down and makes another bed!
Randy and Mike you bring the worst in each other, you two bounce of each so well it's like watching two boy's up to no good. So enjoyed this week 10 out of 10. Gary..... England 🇬🇧
All the cubby holes on the trailers are for storage, for outside camping gear or toys or whatever. The button on the outside rear is for the leveling/stabilizer jacks. Once you have your deep cycle batteries hooked up to the trailer, they charge up and run all your stabilizers and the tongue Jack.
The trailer is not a bad unit.. The boom you called it is a electric jack to hock up to your truck.. They have what they call house battery's when you are not plugged in to 110 or the tow vehicle.
Nice content! Enjoyed the variation of the boats and RVs. Will you ever bring back Carnage? Maybe even just a dedicated once a month video for your OG fans?
On those travel trailers, those compartments are for for storage of "outdoor" type things that you wouldnt usually store inside the trailer like chairs, tools, and hoses for black/grey water etc. The rack on the back is for bikes or a small grill. You could have gotten inside the locked trailer by going inside the rear storage area where you saw the plywood inside, thats the support board for a matress and it lifts up to access the storage from inside.
There is a small electronic switch on the foot brake which is broken that only cost about $50.00. That switch tells the gear lever to move and change to Park, Reverse and Drive. There is a lock release on the gear lever to get the car into drive. The broken switch also will give you no brake lights when car is driving
Trailer outside cubby holes are for storage. Can goods, camp tools, lawn chairs etc. 110 electrical, you have to have an adapter to plug into a regular outlet. The electric connector actually requires a lot higher amperage than a regular outlet provides.. The trailer will have a battery right behind the propane tanks but the battery and the battery cover to the box are missing. Need to check the roof, and check if the trailer leaks when it rains.
VW Touareg, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga- all pretty much the same, lol! And it's not the oil changes on the Cayenne that'll make you cry, it's the brakes and tires. But they're awesome to drive!
The flooded truck, knowing it was flooded and what it takes to get it back to running shape, if the cost is right ... it would be a great deal....replacing the insides and doing cleaning/oil changes etc is all do-able ! The doors on the outside of the trailers is called storage !
I had a 2008 BMW M3, beautiful condition, carbon fiber package, everything... and I hardly got any attention, but if I hopped into my 2003 Red Z06 Vette? Man... I got ALL KINDS of attention.... it was insane. So for grabbing the attention of the ladies (and overall), Vette all the way.
In the 60's I worked at a Garage that sponsored a Modified B race car. To clean the engine they would pour kerosene into the crank case and turn it over without starting it. I remember you couldn't use gasoline because it leaves a residue that prevents the oil from touching the metal microscopically.
Randy, that C4 does not need a new hood. There is fibreglass repairs/rebuilds that can be done on that hood. Similar to the boat, although it’s a much bigger project. You should get that 2019 Travel Trailer for your new place. That would be a great deal. You should have that for traveling people that would come down to help you on some of the more complex repairs.
Travel trailers.... Slide outside work off battery or power hookup 30 amp or 50 amp service. Those compartments are for storage. You can tell how many it sleeps by the beds in it. The master bed is easier to close with the weight of the mattress on it. Most trailers are light due to the materials they use to build them. I've had my trailer for almost 10 years now and have had multiple issue do to build quality. Just keep in mind these aren't intended for long term living situations, or heavy usage. Of course this is all just my opinion and perspective on them. Everyone is different as I'm sure you will read.
You won't need to replace the whole hood on that Corvette. That's an easy repair. Grind away anything loose, add glass matting & polyester. When you're close then use P38. It'll be fine.
Shout out Randy & Mike 🙌👊 I when't on vacation I rented a Porsche Cayenne twin turbo & damn that bad boy was nice , would that thing run . Salute guys 🤘😎
LOL On the Travel Trailers the cubbie hole are for your camping stuff. And believe me when I tell you, you never have enough storage. The switch near the storage is for the electric support jacks. They are not levelers just supporters for rocking.
In the beginning, wiper blades for my Toyota Avalon was only available at a Toyota dealership. Each blade was 60 dollars. Now you can get them a Napa, Walmart, etc. for about 40 bucks a pair. BTW, driver and passenger blades are different sizes.
It's called a electric jack not a boom. The jack lift the trailer up or down so you can get it on a hitch ball of a truck or a suv. The living room part that's a electric slide out that's what they are called the smaller doors on the out side are small storage for like camping or that ever a person want to use them for lol.i use to pull them for many of years.not fun to pull them if you got high winds
I thought that was a great episode Randy and when I mentioned it to Mikey wrench Mike and his CZcams channel he thought you were crazy too but I’m sure he still loves you
Yes, that is a toilet in the boat. You close the hatch over you and it's either a black water holding tank, or a cassette toilet. Either way, somebody has to empty something out.
That "Salem" trailer side damage is not that bad, (those particular kinds of trailers are what they call "stick and tin," wood inside framing with insulation and outside aluminum skin. . . ,) the "cubbyholes" are storage compartments. The "extend" switches at the back outside, (there's one up front on the outside too,) are for electric stabilizer jacks, so when you're parked, you jack them down front an back so the trailer won't tip The switch to extend the slide-out is in the trailer, usually somewhere near the door. The "boom" at the hitch is your trailer jack, and it's also electric, and has a LED light for night hook-ups. New, that trailer was probably low-to-middle $20,000.00 range. Depending on what they want, it would be a great buy!!
I live in my RV full-time now and the cubby holes is storage. You can store all your extra stuff you need to bring with you on your trip. I personally wouldn't get a trailer because if you're driving you can't stop and go to the bathroom. If you get an RV then you can not worry about the truck. The city water is when you're parked and don't want to use your fresh water tank. Just remember you want it to be potable water. Lol I hope you get one man.
the doors on the travel trailers are for storage their standard for pretty much all travel trailers and you need to be careful with them, a lot of times the company's will strip them for expensive electronic components and other misc items
I think there is a transmission problem on that C4. The gear indicator is not showing a correct position. Also brake lights were working so computer knows brakes are applied. I think the flooded F350 would make a good flip. Really just needs a serious cleaning. The deck boat is older by its dash design. They are very heavy. Stern drive was knicked up showing wear. I dont think it was well taken care of. A tri-toon pontoon has better performance (3 pontoon tubes instead of 2).
Usually when a GM gear selector locks up it is in the ignition switch. Expensive job because the stealership needs to reset the theft deterrent system when you change the ignition.

I even love the older videos, you have a gift when it comes to this. TY Randy!
This week was GREAT. It was like the old days where you spent a long time looking at the cars. I LOVE it. keep it up man.
You’re so real and down to earth Randy. I appreciate it.
$200
Your Corvette sounds awesome
4:49 that had me going randy good one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bought my 6speed corvette last year and I’d do it again every time. The most reliable and best sports car for the price by far.
Cubby holes are storage. The extend/retract switches are for the leveling feet.
You guys are too funny😂😂Mercedes rehab!
Sub to Monkey Wrench Mike here: czcams.com/channels/a9vK-GErh0BcrxLvpq7bfw.html
Corvette all the way. Pure American muscle!
I say get the C4 it would be cool to see it's probably a simple fix like you said
Auto Auction Rebuilds and Monkey Wrench Mike doesn't get any better :) wow that s class interior is nasty
LOST I.D. - thanks!!
The VW Toureg bit was pretty funny
Get the c4. Replace hood and bumper. I bet the actuator for the shifter is stuck
Tears for fears, "Shout, shout, let it all out."
"These are the things we can do without come on" ..... how bad did I butcher the lyrics?

Hey Randy, with the C4, is there a safety switch stopping it going into gear because the drivers door was open?
“Try that with a Mercedes... (10 seconds later)... “You have to take this ford to a dealer to fill it with oil..). 😂
The trailer is not a bad unit.. The boom you called it is a electric jack to hock up to your truck.. They have what they call house battery's when you are not plugged in to 110 or the tow vehicle.
51:29 Appreciate your advice to the kids out there man. Out here speaking the truth haha

Here we are in 2024 and you are still going strong 😮

I lived in RV's for 11 years. That is a 120 volt 30 amp plug.

This should be called the walk arounf channel

I agree just bought a 2005 Porsche canyenne and enjoy driving the SUV.
👍Great walk-around Randy!👍 If you decide to do a travel trailer or boat.. lmk! I’ve restored several of each & have pretty good knowledge of them.
I liked it when in your older videos you would tell us what the interesting cars would sell for. Even if you weren't interested in them.
The flooded truck, knowing it was flooded and what it takes to get it back to running shape, if the cost is right ... it would be a great deal....replacing the insides and doing cleaning/oil changes etc is all do-able ! The doors on the outside of the trailers is called storage !
Benz=parts car, C4 would be viable to make a turn at around $3k. That bearded fellow could fix the hood easily.
Had to look online to see how much c4 vettes gor, cheapest one i saw was 5k, most were 8k-12k
I love that C4, I wish it was local to Oregon. I’d do my best to pick it up.
In the 60's I worked at a Garage that sponsored a Modified B race car.
To clean the engine they would pour kerosene into the crank case and turn it over without starting it. I remember you couldn't use gasoline because it leaves a residue that prevents the oil from touching the metal microscopically.
That salem camper could be a good deal with just minimal side damage
You need more monkey mench Mike around. You two play off each other so well.
Anthony Stone - thanks Anthony!

Travel trailers....

The cubbie holes are to carry your hoses and supplies for the camper hook ups and other stuff that you may need

In the beginning, wiper blades for my Toyota Avalon was only available at a Toyota dealership.

Yep with a beast like that truck you have it opens up a hole new world of things.
I’d think about the C4 but I’d have to look into that shifter more see how much It would cost to fix or just replace
Yes, that is a toilet in the boat. You close the hatch over you and it's either a black water holding tank, or a cassette toilet.

Tears for fears.... Shout. Haven't heard that in forever now I have to go listen to it next. Thanks Randy 😊👍

The small outside doors on the camper are for storage.
Soon I going to copart
Same
In Australia we still do call them Airoplanes.
The SHOUT commercial you were reciting was from 1987-1991.
Randy, you didn't flip the headlights on the Corvette. That is the first thing I do to see if there are any problems there.
Another episode of "Fun with Monkey Wrench Mike"! Great upload. And Randy, before you consider a Mercedes, just watch Mikes channel!!!!!LOL......

the doors on the travel trailers are for storage their standard for pretty much all travel trailers and you need to be careful with them, a lot of times the company's will strip them for expensive electronic components and other misc items
They are for storage for like out side chairs leveling boards.
Base price 2020 911 is about $121K with destination charges, but of course you can load it up and spend what ever.
Get the c4 new hood an fix bumper where it was tweeked. The trans shift is something very simple goo lean easy flip
Where is the house content I been waiting awhile for it
I good fiberglass man could fix that hood and also your C5 as well.. I suspect the shifter on the c4 would be an simple fix as well.
I have to keep watching these co part videos I haven't been watching lately but they are good passing time
Buy the c4, and I'm willing to join Mike in that Mercedes rehab
I always wanted a C4 corvette
Vette. Of course I'm a chevy guy though. Lol
id like to see some input from corvette ben on that c4
I think there is a transmission problem on that C4. The gear indicator is not showing a correct position. Also brake lights were working so computer knows brakes are applied. Get the Vette Randy!
Hi Randy. I hope you get a trailer. Try to get that Vette!
Their both pretty sweet, corvette
Randy it’s called a Caravan. In Australia
I like the white c4.... it has its issues but could be a good flip
Randy, those “cubby holes” in the Salem travel trailer are for storage. That trailer is a 30 amp.
Usually when a GM gear selector locks up it is in the ignition switch. Expensive job because the stealership needs to reset the theft deterrent system when you change the ignition.
C4 has a translock fitted looks good
