    Recent 3*s developed at UGA just off the top of my head; Erik Stokes, Jordan Davis, Ladd McKonkey. umm Stetson Bennett

      @Ricoknows  Před 5 měsíci

      Made a video addressing this on tiktok, should probably watch it. The hit rate on 3-stars at UGA in the last 5 years is less than 20% vs. 80% at some BIG12 schools. 1 in 5 "3-star players" make it in the two deep at UGA. That's a terrible percentage across 5 years and among 30+ athletes. This is mainly because the caliber of player going to UGA is far greater than other schools. The handful of success stories don't equate to other power 5 programs with 60+ 3-star success stories in that same time frame.

    Georgia finds a lot of really good three star rated prospects. Javon Bullard, ladd mcconkey, jordan Davis

    • @Ricoknows
      @Ricoknows  Před 5 měsíci

      They hit on 18% of their 3-star players. If you compare that to what other programs do, then you'd understand the premise. I made a video on this on Tiktok. 6 or 7 of 33 3-star players have made the 2-deep in the past 4 years. Compare that to 60+ at K State. The success of Ladd, Bullard, Davis, etc. doesn't justify the players going to UGA. This isn't the school's issue, it's a 3-star player's issue. 1 out of 6 3-stars make it at UGA...but if you go to Michigan State or Minnesota 5 out of 6 3-stars make the 2 deep. It's just the nature of the business. Never use anecdotes for reference to a trend or pattern of success.

    The beginning of this just shows you only have knowledge about college football from an internet website perspective. Keep following it and maybe one year it'll dawn on you that UGA does not sign any 3 stars, or 4 stars, or 5 stars. Those only exist in the fictional world of made-up internet website rankings. The sooner you understand what that means, the sooner you'll understand that there is no such thing as developing a 3 star v a 4 star v a 5 star. There is only development of football players. UGA continues to do that just as good if not better than anybody else.

      I made a video on tiktok for people like you. I call all the recruiting websites "recruiting for dummies" I don't put any value into what they label players. I do, however, know when I see a follower who doesn't watch the content. Try the live tab and digest my assessment of transfers and try and hone in on my reference to their "star" rating....don't hold your breath.

      @@Ricoknows I'm not a follower. CZcams just recommended your channel so I watched the first minute or two of this video and it was so bad I had to say something. Further, your reply makes zero sense, which is what I would expect after watching the first minute or so of this video. You reference kid's "stars" repeatedly and as the reason for players to not go to a school. You cite no other reasons. Just "if you're a three star kid, don't go to Georgia. You're going to be on the bench. There are four and five star kids everywhere." Now in the comments you try and act like you don't care about recruits star rankings? LOL, ok. You're just trying to adjust because I called you out for living in fantasy recruit ranking land. The real truth is that Georgia, and other schools at the top of the college football landscape, turn away, or chose not to recruit, players ranked more highly than the guys they sign every single year. That's because the rankings are not real and do not have any influence on a player's level of success.

      1-in-6 "3-star players" make it at UGA...At best count that's 10 3-stars in 5 years...compared to 50-60 that make it into the 2-deep at BIG12 schools. It's not even debatable.

      Not in a single class. Kirby is really good at assessing individuals potential, regardless of stars affixed.
      Of course four and five stars dominate, which is why Kirby has so many exremely high rated classes each and every year.
      Still, his three stars that do make it make it very well - with a few going in the early rounds (some first rounders) - more so than most universities. BTW, I am a UGA alumnus who keeps a close watch on recruiting.
