Instead of flinging the pen on the first fill, you can draw the entire stopper out and push it back in with steady speed over your ink bottle to force a few drops out.

Brian / Rachel, thanks for another really neat WN, love the spontaneity of these. Another little "hack" on the Opus pens, is to drop a couple of drop of ink into the feed (a bit dicey sometimes), but gets the ink flowing quicker. Also a little bit of silicon on those back threads takes away the "squeek"

That corky squeak was something I'd heard in other review videos, so I had the tub of silicone grease ready when I got my Koloro Clear Demonstrator and the Picnic in brown today. I like pens with an impressive ink capacity that are dry, but smooth at the same time, so that I don't smudge my writing. I'm happy with my two pens and consider adding other models to my collection.

I love the look of the beige pickinc. Not a fan of eye droppers though. I have not had any luck with them.

No, it has a regular resin feed. Ebonite is just on the body of the pen. - Colin
