May just be me but I like each version I've heard of this song. Gaga did well in a main stream sorta way bc hers is the original. 30 seconds to mars brought it to that dark place that fits the song lyrics almost perfectly and halestorm brought out the much needed feminine bad ass that neither of the others got quite right. But that's the measure of a truly epic song when artists can change it up and it still be epic no matter how it is done.

Lady Gaga's version is an excited child trying to be the dom, but they're too inexperienced and don't understand their desired dynamic fully. Halestorm is a eager confident Domme who may or may not scare their subs. They don't have the slow setting mastered. Thirty Second To Mars is the experienced Dom who articulates every dirty word without shame. The words are part of the scene.
Lady Gaga writes most of her songs and the particular one was the product of a collaborative effort between Gaga and RedOne. To my eyes Lady Gaga is to be respected as an artist because she is very intelligent, hard working and self-made.
His voice makes me want to tear off my clothes and offer my body to him. Just take it please. SO soulful. I want to hear him do an Adelle cover. He would do her justice
30STM is one of the few bands in the industry keeping the rock genre alive in an era full of disney pop bands being passed off as rock. You can only respect what Jared and the rest of the team have done for this generation. Don't get me wrong, there's still some solid talents out there like the Foo Fighters and Three Days Grace but if these guys stay consistent they could very well be the leaders in a second golden era. I wouldn't doubt it for a second.
Unfortunately, 3 days grace does not have the same sound ( Lead singer ) as they did when they started out. I have every Album, except 'Transit 2 Venus". Def a better fit 4 the Band was Adam. Just my opinion.
This is a Dominant version, and is not better or worse, but stands as a tribute between talented musicians. Personally I like a lot of the covers of Bad Romance, the song translates into so many genres, it's just THAT incredible.

Honestly, both Gaga and Thirty Seconds to Mars did a great job on this song. Gaga's is more of a party dance song, and Thirty Seconds to Mars's is more of a soulful ballad. Both deserve respect and if anyone has a problem with either version then they should keep it to themselves.

this is such an amazing song. both versions. I do alot of my vocal training the past few days with 3stm songs. if I were to pin point where I want my voice to be, this is it.
I love Jared Leto and Lady Gaga so much! Leto blew my mind in Fight Club and Requiem For A Dream, and I've been watching him since I was a preteen. Gaga is very talented too and can also act, like in her mini movie MVs such as Marry The Night. Both are so very unique, captivating and talented and both have AMAZING VOICES!
