I've been watching boxing since 1973. I saw Ali-Frazier trilogy, Foreman-Frazier, Ali-Norton, Rumble in the Jungle....then I've watched all the classic greats - Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Max Baer, Jack Dempsey, Sonny Liston....the list goes on. I've gone back through ALL those and other fights desperately looking for another example of a HW boxer getting KNOCKED OUT COLD (asleep while falling), then to RISE from the canvas and not only survive to the finish, but WIN THE REST OF THE ROUND. I've never seen it, can't find another example of it, and Lord knows I cannot explain it. THE most amazing thing I've seen in a lifetime of boxing. I'll just say, KUDOS to that ref. What a credit he is to his profession.
Ali getting up from the Frazier knockdown in their first fight was arguably it's equal. Only these two.

Funny how in all these come back videos all of them have left out that Tyson's love for Christ was the main factor in his story of redemption.
Give props to both of these giants. Wilder is an absolute tank, easily absorbs punches and delivers ballistic missles with every throw whereas Furys boxing is just flawless, textbook technique and swift reflexes. Enjoyed the fight and definitely tough deciding a winner.
The trick to Fury's recovery was not to get up immediately. Take some time to recover on the ground and then stabilize yourself. Then get up and resume. I've seen many boxers get up within 3 seconds of being knocked down only to stumble because they were too worried about beating the count which prompts referees to stop the match. Fury executed that recovery perfectly.
