I have 2 xuv 700 in my house and we were in first 10k buyers we got both our cars early and its been 8 months there is literally no problem or inconvenience made by the car we have taken it to spiti we have travelled over 16k km....maybe it was a special piece with you🙏🏻

You should have filed a case or did something that escalated the issue to the top management but instead you gave your car to someone who might end up getting the faulty car, not cool. Being a social media creator you should have created an awareness rather you sold it and let other person suffer. If in case you had raised the concerns most of your viewers and followers would have supported you.

Filed a case ?! Are you willing to do it free of cost and want to open up recurring expenses and troubles avoiding peace of mind. Mahindra will depute a team of Lawyers against a single person. And even his lawyer will not defend him freely. And that is hard reality.

Sir mere channel pe meri 10,000 vaali service dekho , ADAS mei brake use obviously but ye chiz aapko pata honi chaiye ki aapne 10 hazar hone se apni gadi ko kaise use kiya ,long trips,extreme off-road, high speed breaking , drag races. Ye sab reasons hote ha jo ki bhut obvious brake pads worn hone k liye. Service ko apne use k hisab se expect karo. Meri XUV700 ki 10,000 vali service mere channel pe ha aur 5,000₹ mei hogyi and no brake pads also no other issues. Conclusion: newly launched product mei dikkat aasakti ha (even apple/ tata / tesla mei bhi aayi) . I am a proud owner of xuv700

Everyone has their own reasons ...for taking certain actions ...once you lose confidence it's reasonable to back out ..., whoever is at fault should severely be taken to task ..also service centres need to do pre and post service checks before deliverey handing over to customer which unfortunately many good brands dont follow any protocol .

I also had a same problem in my Creta 2020. Mine is manual transmission. Clutch pedal became very loose and it sticked on the floor. I had to pull up with my foot toe. I had to change master cylinder... i guess this problem is with all bs6 diesel engine cars...

The brakes failing all of a sudden is an extremely serious issue. No amount of excuses given by the service centre or technical jargon can convince the owner. I fully support your decision to get rid of the car.

I own a 2015 Scorpio. It's brakes failed down an incline at a petrol pump and I had to apply hand brake to prevent a major accident. Workshop said nothing wrong with brake pads or the system. My interpretation is the air pressure in brake hydraulic goes down when you switch off engine (I did at pump). Then I started the car and let the car roll down the incline in neutral. The brakes failed immediately after. In another 5 minutes the brakes started working fine .... brake hydraulic pressure built up possibly.

Honest review bhai…My next door neighbour and also my colleague have faced the same issues and I had to cancel my XUV700 booking. I hope you have tweeted Anand Mahindra about these issues. This guy owns Thar and had XUV500 which were the premium vehicles of Mahindra and he loved them why would he malign the name of that company for just one vehicle. I dnt think all the people posting negative comments here own a Thar, XUV700 and XUV500😏. Just because it is an Indian company doesn’t make it perfect. There are so many people out there bringing out these issues of XUV700 not just him.
Vikas sir please reply if possible, did these issues come up even after switching off ADAS? You said you switch that off and only keep the warning on, did your brake pads die after 10K without ADAS on?

In automatic cars there should be 2 compartment in brake fluid reservior like in landrovers. 1 compartment for front wheels and 2nd for rear wheels if one system fails or leaks other can work, this increases redundancy in braking system.

The moral is, that's the problem in most of the first lot production vehicles.
Considering the technical aspects XUV 700 is one of the most advanced vehicles in India but at the same time after sales support is not developed.
I think while selecting a model you must go for a proven one.
Mahindra XUV 500 is a proven model at the sametime Thar is also known to all.
Technology is not upto the mark forget about after sales service ... Look at maruti since 1980s from day 1 till date they are perfect..... Anyone who could rectify fiat or ambassador could easily repair maruti back then also ...... No science fiction about xuv700.... It's just faulty ....simple....

I have just booked my xuv700 ax5 variant. Watching your video makes me feel that there is a huge reliability concern with Mahindra and this is my first car with Mahindra. 10k kms, break fail is something thing shook me. What do you recommend should i go for it or cancel it? Then there is suspension issue and i don't know what else is there. I do not want that i will be sitting in the Mahindra service centre after the purchase.

Completely agrees 👍. Indian companies except Maruti are verymuch reluctant about providing service by trained people. And Indian Laws are not much consumer oriented. Even you have experienced total vehicle failure in Fortuner also and even you don't have proper legal remedies to get your peace of mind back.

If mechanic does the same mistake in automatic Innova or Fortuner then same thing is going to happen.. It's not a car, it's a service mechanic who is at fault. For all automatic car owners, you should always check your break fluid level.. It's a common mistake by mechanic in our India. It's just that in manual car, with the same mistake clutch fails first and you will be safe. Most of the clutch failure stories you have heard are basically break failure stories for automatic cars. It's not a one in a million times event. Mahindra should fire that mechanic. They should be extra careful while bleeding the break line in automatic car.
For all the automobile companies - It should be mandatory to have some sensor which will check the break line pressure in all the Torque Convertor cars or have separate break fluid containers for front and rear breaks.

Toyota is very smart they give manual handbrake in their 50 lakh car so if brake fail then they can apply handbrake but people needs feature and always defame fortuner , Innova that they not get features but trust me they are very very reliable

From this video i got to know few things
1. ADAS will eat your brake pads life
2. Proper QA validation was missing after your second service, which led to brake failure
3. Mahindra Service is Poor and taking car and then getting serviced from them, specifically for this car is a big risk as i feel they are not trained
4. This is the similar issue What BS3 Royal Enfield Himalayan had also faced, due to improper training to technicians , poor validations on service centre... though RE rectified it on BS4
5. I hope the new owners are not getting to know about this vehicles issue from this video
6. You had cash to buy a 50Lakh car in no time

yes my xuv500 was having a sound from steering rack i told them that rack need to be replaced in warranty but they were not ready to listen they said we will check then only confirm they took 2 days to confirm that i was right n replaced the rack in last

I had bought the Scorpio in 2014 when the facelift came out.
My car started having break issues. Mahindra sent 2 engineers, and then my car was in service center for almost 30 days.
Things that were replaced were :
1: Brake booster
2: Rear brake drum and brake pads.
3: Master brake cylinder.
4: ABS module.
I was told that there was an issue with all the above and thats why my brakes were very soft.
I know that this is possible for mahindra.
My scorpio is running very nice same year iI did a long trip on it around 1100km in 2021 and drove 500km non stop no issues but service in city is fine in rural areas mechanic are unprofessional

The kind of service from Mahindra company was never expected. It could have a matter of life or death of another person or may have been injured for life and also you could have been in lot of trouble only because the service centre did not work properly on the car. issue which caused front brakes to
engage partially continuously and
worn out. if it's true it is a reason for
low mileage and early brake worn out.
Completed nearly 9 months of xuv700. No issues at all. Smooth running.

I have been owning an XUV 500 since 2013. Although am very satisfied with the performance of the car and it's reliability I totally agree with you about the state of Mahindra servicing. Have had very bad experience myself too and have now switched to outside workshops. By the way this my 3rd Mahindra. Have earlier owned a Bolero and a Scorpio both of which have driven over 1 lakh kms each before selling.
You’re satisfied because you love your vehicle. You are not gonna change it for a few minor brake issue. These days CZcamsrs just switch vehicles in order to get sponsorships.

Vikash Bhai, I am owner of Maruti Swift VXI from 2019. May be all people talk bad about Maruti " tin ka dabba". I took 6 adults and 1 child from Puri to Bhabaneswar and swift did it. I took 4 adults and 2 children with luggage to Darjeeling ( road inclination of Darjeeling you never found any where even Ladakh or Spiti) . Swift did it. Never felt tired even driving more than 14 hours by myself. I am going to buy Harrier. But not going to sell Swift. It will remain. I am so satisfied. Maruti may be tin ka dabba but really satisfying.

Mahindra should come out with their version of What actually happened, related to the suspension noise as well as brakes malfunction. What did the service centre do to rectify the faults. Also bring out the truth about whether it is a one off fault or a pattern and issue a recall of vehicles. The suspension issue is increasingly becoming prominent, as is the screen blackout problem. Mahindra sure has a challenge on hands.
brake issue are rare thats ok but suspension issues we test drove that car after driving dzire and i was surprised how no one is talking about it you pay 25 lac ex showroom and you get worst suspension that a freaking cab dzire cng

Correct mahindra should focus on their quality of their vehicle. Even I saw some people who face issues like rattling when car is not driven more than 20000 km and age of the vehicle is not more than 2-3 years

And they should also ban OEM who have bad product quality, on some fronts Mahindra has done fabulous, my car has been running for last 7 years and I have enjoyed owning it, but rusting, bad quality of plastics and really pathetic workshop experience has spoiled the experience for me. Many of my friends wanted to go for XUV 700 and I told them to wait for 1-2 lots to go by and then only they shall book, as Mahindra always learns after the real lige usage from real customers

Having ford aspire since 5 years. Every year i just call a single time for service. They pickup in morning and drop at night. Bill 5500 fix everytime. Completed 85000. No problem till now. Feeling satisfied everytime.

Ford really upped their service game since 2017 or 2018, I think. Sadly, their foolish and incompetent management didn't launch appropriate SUV products at different price points inspite of having solid products internationally. They just didn't understand the value of the success that a mid-budget compact SUV - Ecosport - brought them, neither did they understood the success that the Beast Endeavour got them. The gulf between a ₹12 lakh SUV and a ₹35 lakh SUV was simple too massive! The fools could have easily introduced a ₹12-20 lakh SUV and another ₹20-28 lakh one. They would have gotten sure shot success.
Dumb people. One less quality carmaker left in India now.

You are Right Vikas sir It's is a Major issue that you are telling us, Brakes failed hona woh bhi new car ke, tab jab car service centre hokar aayi hai its not Exceptable.When you are paying more than 25k to a car, atleast you expect some basic features and function that work properly. I had face this problem twice in my life with different car first is in my nano which I drove almost 60,000 km in 6 years, and second time it was happened in I 20 on hill in nainital, I know how it feels. Luckily we saved as car is at low speed. 🙏🙏
Bhai whatever it is, servicing depends on the service center. In my area there is KS motors Jaipur, our Bolero and XUV700 both get serviced there even bolero from 10yrs and honestly we haven't faced any single issue with our cars. Neither Suspension noise, neither brake issue or anything else. And yes i want to tell you that XUV700 have not been made for the things you did with it. This car needs a lot of pampering. But the choice was yours, you may have tried any other service center too, hamesha relations jaroori nahin hote jab aap kunwar bhaiya ke pas le jate ho

On another note, yes, Mahindra can surely up their retail selling as well as service customer care. Not only Mahindra, but Tata as well. Some if the salespersons at Tata showrooms have become cocky in the last 2 years or so, since their cars have started attracting customers.
The two Indian brands are making solid cars, but there is a long way to go when you compare it with other foreign brands in sales and service experience.

Highly electronic or rather I would say totally electronic system in a suv or a car is always dangerous when Mahindra launched XUV 700 this was the first question in my mind whether these electronics and sensors will age well with time and the answer is a big no. Few things which are the main part in a suv should be remain either conventional or electronic + conventional so that in case of any failure the driver and the passenger both remain safe.
