Intrigue is the fourth out of five different Lifestyle focuses that you can pick for your character in Crusader Kings 3. But how GOOD is it? It's absolutely BROKEN!

You can also keep marrying daughters matrilinealy to 2nd heirs and kill the 1st heir. Keep doing that and you’ll always have dynasty Allie’s to call

if you didn't know the unite throne decision allows you to create the biggest kingdom in the world by uniting all de jure spanish kingdoms
I’m playing Tuscany right now, playing my son after Matilda died. Used intrigue to find secrets. Used it to form kingdom of Italy and annex everyone besides Carinthia. Now I’m using my learning focus giga chad to wipe out all of Carinthia (also killed all of Norman Sicily’s line).
You should read into Rodrigo El Campeador's story. It's such a mega Chad and history.

My recent intrigue story: playing sardina, end up swearing fealty to the byzantines and scheme my way to the throne in 2 generations. Along the way i ended up as a dynastic kinslayer and i had a few dukes that forced coucil seats because of it.
So im playing along, trying to keep my new empire together and all of a sudden two things happen: i get a notification that i have been pardoned for kinslaying l, followed by a letter
"To the emperor of byzantium,
I demand you parndon me of my crimes. After all, you owe me!
Signed, the emperor of byzantium"
It seems the ai noticed that i could pardon myself as my own liege, and when i didn't proceeded to gain a hook on myself to force the issue.
I was so shocked i shut the game off.

you should make a series where you make every empire in the game and you have to start as the worst start within the empire's de jure territory
Theres something about the Sims 1 music on repeat in the backgrounf that adds a level of chaos but also comfort.

This is much easier as the sister with the matriarchy game rule. You start with your brother's kingdoms, and just crush all of your neighbors instantly

El is an abbreviation from the modern Castilian spanish of “The” and pupper translates to the Scandinavian word of “Pupp” meaning boob, and “Pupper” to boobs. So the boobs

If you really want to wreck havok in other Empires/ Kindoms, just capture the King and force them to switch religion.
When all of the HRE Vassals are catholic, but the Ruler is another faith (even better when it is seen evil). Then grab some pop corn end enjoy the show.

I want to take states like eu4. It’s so annoying to clean up border gore when I have to choose between taking one of there single counties surrounded by my land or do I holy war and take a whole kingdom to do more damage at a time because I have to wait years before I can go to war with them again.
You could arrange a accident with the current leader to reset the cooldown.
Aside from that, a high prestige allows you to take dutchys.
That can also be achieved by marry your daughters and inherit the throne of by the diplomacy skill tree.
But holy wars are the fastest way if you have enough strength.
@@molybdaen11 Well that’s normally what I do, I’ll kill the leader and right back to war. But only being able to take one claim whatever that claim may be sucks, I mean if it was a cheap casus belli where I am fighting specifically for that duchy or county or whatever then that’s cool makes sense. But give me a maybe more expensive casus belli where I take what I want, there definitely needs to be a limit to how much you can take. Maybe bring aggressive expansion back.
@@booniebound7793there are kingdom holy wars but it really is annoying when later in the game the AI might have a county in each country or duchy. There is also the struggle CB for those in the Iberian struggle, it gives you all bordering counties. The issue is that it means no full kingdoms or even duchies.

In my game everyone their sister as heir.
Killed both my brothers only to be killed by my sister-lover and play as her because she was my only heir. Her opinion of me was super high but she killed me....i should have expected it honestly.
The events for El Sid were based on actual events, all the nobles hated El Sid because he was so awesome as a knight.

I do not see a difference in putting points in anything.
I know everyone says high points in .. .... Improved xyz.
But I've pretty much maxed points in one thing...
With different prices.
And there was no difference.
The ONLY difference was prestige per month. When that was on the table.
But if you max Learning or any other skill points.
As long as you put the points into intrigue to get kidnapping.
And no more. Unless you want the 2x.
There will be no difference on attempts.
And no difference on fights.
You all, are believe a pile of BS About you need to put points in anything.
It just doesn't matter.
Meaning all these guides are useless
Personally. I say the game is broke.
Just way too many times the game cheats.
Like allowing NPC to attack you. When not allowing you to attack them. ... Many times.
I'm not happy with just how janky this game is.
