I think we've all felt it at some stage, the desolate loneliness that can come with playing some games like this one solo, when we've nobody to bring it to life with - and I just want to say, I'm right there with you, but I've developed my own approaches to playing the game, which honestly give me better focus, and more joy in the game, than I've ever had since I began playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint. After showing the good times I have when I DO have a team mate, I wanted to show you that's not always the case, in fact it's pretty rare. I play solo quite a lot, and I can honestly say, these little things I do when approaching any encounter/mission/whatever in Breakpoint, really help me focus and in the end, helped me enjoy the game a sh*t tonne more than I was before. Like for the algo if you enjoyed (did you spot it at 23:49 ? 😅) and thanks for watching everybody! 💪

Playing alone is an essential part of gaming. Most of my favorite games are singleplayer only. I congratulate you on finally discovering the joy of just letting yourself immerse in the game, no distractions, pure mental roleplaying, storytelling and fun.

The reason he felt playing alone sucks is because he was playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Single player games will forever be the best. Multiplayer is fun, co op with the boys is fun, but nothing beats that old school single player experience, especially when done correctly. Rockstar proved that when Rdr2 released. Different style of game but a incredible story, wickedly immersive world and great voice acting really made the single player experience pop.

Shame Ubisoft abandoned Breakpoint. We could have had few more glamorous updates, and few kit changes. 416 with magpull? Anyone. I guess not.
Breakpoint and Wildlands are 2 of my favorite solo games to play. I love the sicario vibes in Wildlands, and the whole big tech private security feel in breakpoint. The immersion in both are quite lovely.
recently went through both of em and now i dont know what to play do you know any games that might give me that same vibe ?
@@boofii_ Maybe Sniper Elite, Sniper Ghost Warrior games, Metal Gear Solid 5, Hitman, Splinter Cell, The Division. And there's Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Despite of age, it's really really good. Hope it helps. Have fun.
@ALEX_JOTA sniper elite is goated, division had trash pvp considering I put atleast 3k hours in 1&2 div 2 is ass dark zone is unplayable and unfair without warlords dlc
@@Sten05You only mentioned PvP though. I don't enjoy that. I play solo so I can be more immersed and not distracted by real world stuff.
I role-played a lot in Division 1. Less in 2 because it felt more like a co-op game. In the first one I walked around slowly, checked corners, pretending civilians could be bad because I couldn't trust anyone. Playing that way is more fun IMO. With friends you just joke around and talk about life.
Wildlands is the better game, even the AI is better than in Breakpoint.
Bro it is 2023. Despite an absolute STACKED gaming lineup this year you have, with one spectacular video, convinced me to exhume Ghost Recon from my backlog graveyard and give it a try. Well done!
Lmao, if you’re on PS5, the games are not stacked at all. The only thing good is Cyberpunk, besides Breakpoint, the rest are average at best.

I always prefer to play alone. It comes from 80s and 90s era and I still love it. Yes...MP is awesome, but nothing compares to be sucked into game alone. Great video!
I feel exactly as you say when playing RDR2, for me that's the most immersive experience you could possibly have & I had this game for years & at first I couldn't get on with the slow pacing of the game but it slowly gets a grip on you & it has heartfelt moments of pure joy & sadness.
In a way I'm thinking it's going to ruin other games for me because I've gotten use to the brilliant story writing & absolute stunning attention to detail.
It doesn’t come from the 80s and 90s . It’s just what you like . I’m almost 50 and enjoy multiplayer much more
Playing with others always needs you to rely on others, change your pace and most likely change your gameplay. So I totally understand that people prefer playing solo (I also do)

Never heard of this channel before, but grew up with singleplayer games in the 90s.
This video is an EXPERIENCE. I absolutely loved it. When you're singleplayer, you've got to throw yourself into the immersion and roleplay like this. It becomes YOUR story to tell. Awesome stuff.

The thing about playing alone is that you need to use your imagination a lot more. I enjoyed playing games alone as a kid because I had plenty of it, but as I've gotten older, ive not been able to use my imagination as much... making most games less enjoyable... but hearing your narrations in this is inspiring to give it another shot.

If I'm playing a single player and I find myself in party chat I know that the game isn't engaging enough for me to not feel loneliness
That imagination never went away for me. I'm 33 and still role-play in games. Maybe not with voices or making up stories about the NPCs. But I have an internal narrative of what's going on. I pretend I'm an agent or a lone wolf spec op. I walk around slowly, taking my time, crawling in the mud and checking around corners. Pretending like the character in the game could die by just a single bullet.

I'm 48 or 49. I kinda forgot. And still play solo games and I absolutely enjoy them. Yes, with time comes a lesser sense of wonderment, but now and then a game will feel as compelling and immersive as it used to feel like when I was a kid.

Your editing, emphasis on the sounds, and your amazingly clear voice that guides us through the gameplay is like if Ubisoft during gameplay trailers actually knew what they were doing (we've all been there during the first Division gameplay trailer). Hey man, recently discovered your channel and I love it! You're making me think about picking this game up. I never knew it existed, but seeing your gameplay with all the editing and everything making it a movie-like viewing experience, it is really tempting to try it out.
One of the most comprehensively put together vids I’ve seen in a while. Loved the commentary, just enough , not overly done and great tone. The use of chapters was genius and the whole video was thoroughly watchable. I’ve tried to eliminate this camp many times on advanced. Bravo !

You make these videos better than anybody I've seen and you always have a great taste for the musical tracks you choose. I'm a big fan of the division soundtracks and you used one of the tracks perfectly in this video. I would love to see you try to use either "Balcony Rotary" or "Dock Wrecks" in one of your future videos. I'm sure you'd be able to make it into an awesome moment one of your videos. I'll admit I have the same issue. Playing PS4 and Xbox One. Embracing the solo journey is tuff but at least I've learned to handle different games and combat doing so. Your tactics are well thought out. Positioning, knowing the weapons, scopes and landscape is all important keys to being a effective shooter.
I'm curious how you would approach Remnant from the Ashes. It's a tough game but I'm ready for the sequel.

I discovered your channel yesterday, watched a load of videos and subbed immediately. Absolute top quality. Inspired me to play through the game with similar settings and it has completely changed how the game feels and plays.
I would love the Division to have a similar set of options. Remove all the bullet sponge enemies and make it more tactical and engaging instead of unloading entire mags into enemies.

I feel I am unrestricted when I play alone. I can play at my own pace and don't have to worry about what my mates are doing when we play. When we play as a group we generally play something like DayZ or Rocket League both games in which knowing your teams movements is essential and I just find that I thrive when I play alone.
Yo that transition to the next object was just brilliant. Definitely in the top 10's of best transitions I've ever seen. Great vid don't let the haters stop you from making more vids like this beautiful master piece.
