I prefer watching without the music or questions. She's doing a great job of letting us know what she's doing and why.
Magical and helpful to watch this process. I love her art, but also her humility. She and her paintings are lovely inside and out! Thank you for all your videos!
Love this family! Virginia says “Hello!” I’m also in your masters class. Sold my first homework assignment and have more commissioned! Gotta balance assignments and selling them, too! Good problems to have.
Wow, Jake's hair is glorious. Thank you for the tips.
Might have to try this with the water soluble graphite.

Just beautiful ! I appreciate this video your talent is unique with so much style 😍
I agree that a 3/4 view, especially as the photo is tilted sightly downward, is particularly difficult! Trying to talk while drawing is also a big challenge - you're doing wonderfully well
Thank you for your hard work guys. Blessings!
Thank you Dimitra, I'm following you from Hungary
Fabulous. Love all the different mediums. Thx
Definitely your brain can trick you , I always tell the people who ask me how do you draw like that ,
My answer is art is more learning to see , to be able to see shapes within shapes , gradients of shadow , to look at a Terrence and be able to break it down in your eye to its individual components, I am by no means a professional artist but this is one of the things my 40+ year journey has shown me
Thank you for this. Love learning tips from other artists. I'm portrait artist and would love to share a few pictures painting with you.
Exciting new art lessons from a lovely couple . Thank you for sharing ❤

Is there a completed version of this painting if you added acrylics or oils on top? It would be interesting to see what you do on top of this process or do you call it finished once you wet the caran dache?
Watching from Vermont!

hi from Columbia DC.
Love the colors! Just wondering why you chose to leave the ear completely untouched?
Excellent video! Thank you! :) Also, what eraser are you using? I like the holder but I am unable to find it.
I watched it 3 times, it is so interesting! I was wondering though: what are you using to seal your drawing? What kind of varnish works for both pencils and Caran D'Ache? thank you!
Love the water graphite soluables. What is the name of the colors
Do you have in person classes in Houston
What brands of graphite are you using????????
Amazing class! I'm trying to find information about the price of the program!
UK
What is the name of the spray used to set a drawing?
What kind of paper are you using?
Q: when findingthe middle of the face while sketching, is the vertical line arced or straight?
It looks like it arcs at the nose.
I think it’s arced there are other face drawing videos on CZcams you could check
Do the water soluble pencils come with darkness levels?
What kind of paper are you using here?
Best recollection is, he was saying 300gsm, Strathmore paper..?
on catch up Doncaster, England
From the US here. Montana. What type of paper are you using? Your drawing/style is lovely.
LOVE IT! HOW DO YOU SPELL THE COLOUR CRAYON BRAND? CARINDOSH????
Caran D’Ache 😊
What type of Caran Dache pastels are used on this video?
Hi! RN here…what you were saying about right brain and emotion by watching the left side of the face was incorrect anatomically speaking. The right hemisphere of the brain controls the right side of the face and left side of the body. It switches over past the cervical vertebrae. (So left hemisphere controls left side of face and right side of body.) Interesting theory but neurologically speaking would be incorrect the way you stated.
Oh, interesting! This is why I love specialization, people from all over come together and exchange information and learning 😁
I believe it's the lower part of the face controlled by the opposite hemisphere. For example, that's why in a left brain stroke, the left eye (upper face) is dilated. Plus, there is decussitation (a cross over) of the nerves behind the eyes. RN too :)
"Each hemisphere has its own visual cortex, which receives information from the contralateral visual field. In other words, the right cortical areas process information from the left eye, and the left processes information from the right eye." Learned something new today but also interesting since Im left handed and left eye dominant.
You were using the crayons and not the pastels, correct? Where do we get them?
What kind of paper is she working on? Water color? Pastel mat? Or smooth Bristol?
what kind of Caran d'Ache sets. I have the pastel pencils. Are these crayons-?ty
Is it a Lyra soluble grafite pencil? 😁
Netherlands❤
Welcome, how do I work with you please? I am a married person and I have three children who are unemployed and without work
I stepped away to get a sandwich, come back, and wow!
I haven't seen anyone better at marks with water soluble graphite than Dimitra. So fun to watch!

How do you spell Karen doche?
Caran D'Ache
wOULD COKOR Pencils have the same effect?

No it's not!
Buffalo ny
Let her draw ahhhh…the questions ruin the. Draw experience
um
Fantastic demo, pity about the commentator though. He was obviously irritating the artist and contributed nothing interesting. I loved the artist, she is amazing.
You may really want to look into the myth of left and right brain. You aren’t using actual research for these assertions. Logical progression is important. Non sequiturs are not.
What is with the annoying music?
