- Well yall what an odd video to record. Usually my filming style is not all over the place like this video is. I filmed way way to much content and had to cut a lot of random stuff out so the video is a bit all over. Anyhow saving these mowers from being scrapped and getting them both fully functioning and mowing was a difficult task but I got it done. The Toro Wheel Horse Deck is still in rough shape with the deck adjustment being messed up it doesn't mow deep grass without flipping the deck back causing issues. The Craftsman.... well lets just say that 12HP is WAY to small for a 40" deck and its rather hard going to fast in 1st gear but it does mow grass.

The silver on the needle is a factory coating that prevents the needle from sticking in the seat. Cool late model tractors. I love restoring these older mowers as they were engineered so much better than the junk they sell for way too much these days.

Friend with the condition of your mower deck you might want to consider finding a turning plow that 10 hp kohler is plenty enough, and the wheel horse is an excellent tractor.

the fact that its a rear disharge as apposed to a side discharge yes its rare
I would invest in some 6013 rod. Stainless rod does not bind well to that type on steel. They are cheap and you will be much happier.
