24m testtube for 800km/h travel? Probably for the vacuum part etc

24 m is a garage, not a test track. I want my tax money back.

Just for info, the pair of dots over certain letters (the "Umlaut" in German) changes the pronunciation of the letter.
U in German is "oo", and Ü is like the letter u in French, certainly not like "you" or "ew".
Same for "Söder", which is pronounced "zœder", not "soder". The ö sounds almost like a composed e in English.
This was particularly cringe when TÜV SÜD was pronounced very badly. It's literally "TÜV South".
As if another channel in a different language spelled "South" letter by letter, after butchering the pronunciation.
A quick research taking less than a minute combined with the vocal synthesis of Translation apps would have solved the issue...
    And I don't even speak German ! 😂
As for the subject itself: do research about hyperloop really continue? The main startups have dropped theirvresearch.
Plus, musk himself said he had zero intention of developing the tech and that he only supported it to distract people from the California HSR project and to try burying the project into oblivion.
Now that CA HSR is advancing, and that Brightline West is also progressing, he dropped any support for hyperloop (that he never truly supported anyway).
His only goal and the purpose of the hyperloop "mirage" was to stop the development of HSR in the US so that he could sell more Tesla cars...
One more example of such a "nice selfless guy dedicated to improving transportation and the environment", hum...
Became there's very real feasibility issues with hyperloop. Many technical ones sure, but also an efficiency one.
A high-speed train can carry nearly 1500 people in a 400m train (like the new TGV M that can have 1480 seats in high capacity configuration). And current signaling technologies in France or Japan allow for a train running every 3 minutes on each track, so a theoretical capacity of about 30 000 passengers per hour per track.
Hyperloop vehicles on the other hand are really small, and will remain quite small, far from the 1000 to 1500 seats found on HSR trains.
Rather like 20 or maybe 50 seats if they manage to solve the length issue, which is at best 30 times *less* than a high capacity high-speed train.
So, spending a horrendous amount of money (compared to an already expensive HSR line) to build a system that is pretty limited in capacity? Yeah, sure...
    How can this be viable?
If hyperloop is much more expensive to build than HSR, it better be able to transport much more passengers instead of much less.
Given this, I don't see how hyperloop could be viable, even if they solve the many many many technical issues.
