I am a Army Vet and girl Dad as well, when she grabbed your hand and waddled as she ran it brought back such great memories. Cherish every moment of it because it goes by way too fast. My daughter is now 25 and she is still my baby girl who i still see as a little girl. Love her to the moon and back!
When you have them this little and someone tells you to enjoy these years, do it! I never understood what they meant until me mine became independent teenagers. You crave that little body to be back in your arms and to be their little world.
I’m 24 and I’ve been an independent teenager too at some point but now I’m back in my moms arms as my mom is still my world 😁 Don’t worry they will come around
That’s sooooo true .. so sweet and they love on you love it when they grab your face and they just smile I can give you kisses and they wrapped their little arms around your neck for a good hug it’s the best thing ever I used to tell my daughter When she was growing up please get back in my belly!!💔❤️

As a mom i know the feeling. Today was my baby girl's first day of junior college and had the same feeling of pride and lost. Pride that she is starting a new chapter in life. Lost caz the time flew by so quickly.😪😪😪
I remember my little son going out to the bus and climbing up the steps. I had more blubbering than a whale. Called my husband and he was so sweet, trying to get me feeling better. Ask me would I feel better if he came home and sit with me a while or go for a short walk. After about a half hour, I had cried myself out, and suddenly 💡lightbulb!! I’m alone! I can do what I wanted. I had hours to myself! Called hubby back and told him and he laughed and told me to meet him for lunch. Of course I beat a path when my son came home, but I got to lovvvee my time! 😅
