For me is NO. The captain is a nut , not he alone on board the ship. And anytime you can get weather report from nearest station. Before you sail out , you can check first any bad weather accros your track. If any you can calculate yr speed . If you feel safe go ahead.
Its NOT a choice David! Either you keep pushing forward thru the waves, or you stop and the waves eventually flip you over! Doesn't matter how big the vessel is.

We have a pond on our property, I LOVE it. But have 3 young girls, and I am PSYCHO about it! They are not allowed over there alone, NO WHERE near it if I’m not there! Anyone who’s ever watched this video 😆 nah I’ve known this since I was 9. My poppy was a tugboat captain and ended up drowning one night. I don’t mess with water. We have a pond on our property, I LOVE it. But have 3 young girls, and I am PSYCHO about it! They are not allowed over there alone, NO WHERE near it if I’m not there! After what happened; I learned the true power of water. This was in March of 1999. I wish more parents would stop being dumb with their kids and things like pools, people don’t understand the power of water, until it’s too late 🤷🏼♀️
