- In 2017, tonight’s guest, Javier, and two of his friends, heard about a family of Sasquatch that had been seen around Avocado Lake, which is about 15 minutes north of where they live, in the Central Valley of California. After hearing about the Sasquatch sightings there, Javier and his friends started researching that area, hoping to see the Sasquatch there and learn more about them. That was the genesis of Cryptid 559. To this day, Javier hasn’t seen a Sasquatch. He HAS had two Dogman encounters, though. His first encounter happened in 2018. "Wuts up! Dogman?" Lol...great guest. Be careful out there Javier! I've not had my own encounter and i don't want one for sure. I live in Michigan and work all over the farms and fields in oil and gas exploration. I also spend a lot of time alone working on my equipment and also at my father's who lives right in the middle of thousands of acres of state land around Roscommon Michigan. After listening to Vic and all the guests encounters I'm now listening more to the sounds of the woods way more intently than i used to. I have a 3 year old boy who loves being outside at Grampas in the woods. It's pretty frightening of what can be out there. My wife is from the Philippines and actually does believe in some of this and other things. Filipinos for the most part believe in supernatural things which I'm thankful for. I've made her listen to some episodes to make her aware. Americans can be so oblivious to the high strangness. I want to thank all the guests for coming forward to tell their stories to help make people aware of the dangers out there. God bless all of you!

Hello Vic, i am from Fresno Ca, i had a encounter back in 1988, as i was driving on KingCanyon toward avocado, a juvenile bigfoot crossing the road, where there use to be a catfishing area where peole use to fish years ago, before the 180 Freeway now runs, it was about 6feet tall, and cross that Kings canyon road from the south side of kings canyon to north side in about 3 strides, and this was about 2am sunday morning.
Once you see it, took year's to deal with my dogmanwakeup ! Freaked me out even though I had many odd thing's happen my whole life and I am elderly. It had been watching me awhile, like week's, until it warned me. Could have had me, I also believe a telepathic voice told me to leave and don't run. Felt it in my gut growl. I was ill for week's. I'm a believer in Jesus. You have seen alot! Nobody believes me and at my age they would commit me 😂😂😂. Good job 👏
Even when they believe you, they do not understand the effect it has on your life; your view of the world will never be the same... Hope you find solace in knowing you are not alone.

Can you tell us about your encounter? Where did it happen, I heard a lot of people that have seen these creatures and they get nightmares and get traumatized sometimes for life.
I was five or six when I saw this dogman thing.. I had to have pushed the memory out of my mind because I started to have memories of it when I was around thirty-five or so.. I kept thinking it had to be from a dream.. Only I don't remember ever having this as a dream. I was five or six and didn't know hardly anything.. even fear

Fellow 559er here! I live in Fresno Cali and right behind me is the San Joaquin river, a golf course, and a bridge with train tracks. Needless to say whenever I'm out walking in that area I have given myself a curfew and boundaries. When my husband wants to go down to the river I gladly decline and tell him I've seen it many times nothing has changed so I'll wait up here with people. 😂
Loved hearing about your encounters and I'm glad I heard them on Vic's channel. He's the very first channel we started listening to when my hubby and I started on this Dogman phenomenon kinda iffy on this cryptid but Vic's channel made us believers. 👍💯 Stay safe out there!

I was in the foothills not far from Avocado Lake when rocks were landing near me. No one else was around, so I figure it must have been a bigfoot.
I saw a pterodactyl in northern NJ. Swear to God. I'm walking in my yard and this huge shadow goes past me on the ground and when I look up, pterodactyl.

people have described this frame skipping movement in cryptids and little people since the beginning of time. i watched an old episode of bonanza about the little people in the mountains, and the little people were skipping frames in that old tv show as well. people have described this phenomenon since the beginning.

They were to do with light frequency i believe. Javier mentioned being attacked by sound frequency, I wonder if it’s related?

There have been a lot of big foot sightings near me hear in Houston and it’s mind blowing that they are so close to the city and how they are able to hide with such a big body and I wonder where they get their food to support their massive body.
This is some scary ....! Once as a kid I was playing outside and something shaked a brench, hedge, shrubs very very hard. It was the only shrub between others that moved so hard..I was frozen and couldn't move or scream..scary stuff. Still don't know What it could be...

One thing i connected with was Javiere talking about how the head looked awkward. My daughter and granddaughter each had a seperate encounter with a dogman and my daughter commented that the head looked like it was too big for it's body so it made the whole thing look off and strange. Each of their encounters were at very close range and it was only about 5 or 6 ft away from my granddaughter and close to that by my daughter except in her encounter it was perched on the roof of the garage right next to her.
It's so weird hearing places I've lived and live near. I'm so giddy. I knew they were down here.
I live in the 559 myself. Became a believer some time back yet I have never seen one personally. However, i was given confirmation of these creatures existence from a trustworthy coworker of mine who had his first hand encounter one rainy night while he and his wife were having a smoke on their front porch. They happen to live up in oakhurst, ca which is off hwy 41 and is the same hwy leading up to Yosemite.
"Herky-jerky" is what comes to mind as he describes the creature's movement. That really "off" movement that makes your skin prickle- like a spider, things that crawl (up walls and upside down from ceilings is why I gave up horror. Nope, nope, nope.) Not a movement that is usually seen in humanish mammalian species lol. "It's wearing shorts but no wait humans can't do that" in the brain. Anyway, that's what I'm picturing and it's creeping me out! 😮😂😅

i have heard other encounters of people saying they saw the dogman wearing shredded clothing. those encounters are very rare but i have heard a few of them over the years. if he saw it wearing ripped shorts i believe that's what he saw. this thing was skipping frames so something otherworldly was happening with this particular encounter. usually people say it's hard to not notice the genitalia on these things, so if he saw ripped shorts and doesn't remember seeing the genitalia, i am betting that's exactly what he saw, ripped shorts.
So when ppl see genitalia is it like dog genitalia or ppl?

WOWZERS, I'd 💩 if I saw that.
I know that area of California very well. I spent several summers in the Miramonte area, friends had an apple orchard up there that got apples taken, we always assumed bears.
I would have expected Bigfoot, etc in the Sierras that rise above the valley, even in the lower hills but now listening to Javier , it makes sense to me they would come down for all the grapes, etc, olive trees, citrus fruit trees. Miles and miles of food growing all over the valley just below the foothills of the Sierras.
Obviously they would love free fruit!

The king river is a crazy place, ive hike way back up the north fork kings river crosing pg&e dams to get to beautiful places an it gets creepy back there. I saw a fresh killed bear with is head twisted what looked like twice around. Still attached and dis t even smell yet. Why we were scratching our heads i felt like something was watching us. But the group i was with did not believe in sasquach, some lived on the river and had never seem anything like Sasquatch or dogman. Thank Vic

Thumbs up Vic. These type of cryptids could be just branches of the evolutionary tree. Very possible. Mutations which gave them an advantage, then passed on to offspring.
I would suspect this animal must have some major weaknesses however since we do not see them more often.
Maybe disease or something, I also suspect they would fear fire. Mightbe more effective as a defense than a firearm.

The way night vision works is it shines a flashlight we cant see with our naked eye but the technology in the camera can. Ultraviolet light i think? Thsts why you could see light shine in the 2 creatures hiding in the bushes eyes. And these creatures and most animals can see that ultraviolet light, so you stick out like a soar thumb when you use nightvision. I think it lifted its arms to signal something to the other creatures.
The ripped shorts part reminded me of an episode where a young man describes driving through back roads in (I believe Oklahoma) and after seeing a dogman, the following night he saw a man in (coveralls) walking down the same road. And this is in the middle of nowhere. And he recalls the man smirked at him. And we know that dogman often smirks/smiles at its victims. Is it possible that the dogman is a shapeshifter? hence the ripped shorts as if it transformed itself from a man to a canine 🤷🏻♀️...like a textbook werewolf
Sometimes I'm skeptical when there's another when does another content creator or an author of a book or something like that that comes on show. I sometimes feel like they're just out to promote themselves Lol. HOWEVER , vic is really good at vetting ppl, and this guest guy comes off as just a regular genuine dude.
Never heard of him but I'll check out this channel now. Hope he stays safe out there. those experiences that made them feel sick definitely is not something that I would ever want to deal with.

May werewolfs are real. Thats why they seen one with shorts on. Maybe it turned into a werewolf during the full moon.
What I seen when I was five or six had clothing that wasn't torn or shredded..and it was like some ancient Roman or Greek clothing.. a top shirt that seemed to extend down to its private area.. it seemed like one piece of clothing.. along with a freakin belt

Hello actually I have not heard anything from the Coalinga area. I have heard about pterodactyl sightings around the Naval base in Lemoore CA. Also someone told us about a large dark creature running around near that Base

We live in Clovis and squatch in our area. No shortage of bigfoot. We are not looking for a dogman and hope we never see one of those.
I've seen two bigfoot a few years ago at Temperance where it passes over a canal, about Dakota? Many experiences at that spot. My daughter saw one walking along the river as we drove down E Trimmer Springs Rd. She has drawn it. Had a rock tossed at me in Winton Park. Found a footprint near the bridge over the river as it rolls toward Pine Flat. Many pictures, too. One of a white one near Shaver.
Avocado Lake and Lost Lake in 559 area are both unclean locations and people should avoid going there if necessary. If not pray the blood of Jesus on your and your family before entering.
