A couple weeks ago I was able to meet my friend at a prayer group at her new church called Millions of Monica’s. We pray for our child(ren) who are not attending Mass. (Like Monica prayed for her son, the future St. Augustine). I know I won’t always be able to go because it’s several miles away but I hope I can return and hope maybe a group will form at my parish.
Anyway, I did join the Legion of Mary and try to pray the Rosary everyday or at least every few days. I’m a work in progress and I know how important the Eucharist is so using this video to pray the Luminous Mysteries today was nice as it includes the Eucharist.
But to get to the point. I spoke to my son and today he actually said once they are settled into their new home he wants to make the effort to take the kids to Mass on Sunday. I pray for this all the time and I didn’t hold much hope but just hearing those words filled me with joy. The joy of the Holy Spirit. I should’ve known the week after Pentecost Sunday I would get wonderful news.
I will definitely keep praying.
I plan to pray 10 Hail Mary’s for everyone on this board right now. For those who are waiting on an answer and those who are thankful for an answer and those who have been surprised by the answer given them from the Lord our God.
Thanks be to God. God is good! We must not lose hope and we must accept the response God gives us even though we might not be too thrilled at first.
