Poor laddie was stressed out his box and being far too harsh on himself. It's unfortunate he's not been able to drive since he passed his test as this is the only way he'll get over his nerves and learn.
It’s bc he’s gay
I know righttt, poor lad was struggling but tbf to him he is on the spectrum
I think he should take it as a huge positive he recognises he's not comfortable driving alone. Imagine he did and messed up and just lost the license anyway? He should do pass plus
@@snowpz The only way he'll become comfortable driving, alone or otherwise, is to drive.
If he'd managed to get out, even a couple of times a week, after he passed his test 9 months ago, he'd be proficient now.
The only way to become a better driver, is to drive.
@@scottw.3258 I'm just saying if he feels he's not ready its good he's listening to that. He's being proactive still, he just wants to build some confidence. But I get you, you really have to start driving alone because that's really how we all actually learn to drive. He'll get there no need to force it.
Aw he was an absolute gem. No wonder he was so nervous having not driven for so long. Keep practising and you will gain confidence. You can drive ... Just those pesky nerves. I'm a learner and so nervous every time I get on a car so I totally empathise with everyone with nerves. Kieran such a sweetie... Good luck!
I was terrified after I passed my test but I had to drive to work the day after I passed so I was forced to get over the nerves, it definitely worked because I’m now a super confident driver. Forcing yourself out side your comfort zone and not overthinking is hard but the best thing to do I think 😊
Don't let over confidence fool you into to be daft and stupid. A little nerves are never bad as they keep you alert. Where over confidence can lead to mistakes. Be confident in your abilities but over confident
Just drove on my own for the first time 2 days ago, was very anxious, its starting to get better though. Also trying to figure out everything in the car which is taking time as the manual is awful.
@@colinjava8447 Did you learn in an Automatic? I only ask because of the tone of your post and the fact you've said 'manual is awful'.
@@scottw.3258 I think he means the car manual.
@@scottw.3258 Actually yes, I did learn in an Automatic, but was referring to the book.
I've got nothing against manuals.
No stop, he is too cute🥺bless his heart, don’t stress just tell yourself your a confident driver and stay positive about things, always love your videos! I’ve learned a lot from these thank you❤️
I feel him, overthinking and worryingof live mistakes, bless him. Hard af on camera too.
Parking is my nightmare if i go to new places like the timings open hours or paying or if jt closes at a random time ahh 😮💨🙄😩😫
oh man I recognise so much of my early driving in Kieran, i was also pretty nervous and dwelled on mistakes. it takes time but the confidence will come in later :)
Just on a side note, because people might find it funny, on the motorway going about 65mph, and a spider started crawling up my arm, had no choice but to flick it off! Should I also mention I have arachnophobia :D There was a lot screaming, possibly maybe a slight accelleration, and plenty of singing to my songs to distract myself afterwards :') Fears were faced that day :'D
Aww bless him he reminds me so much of me on my lessons sometimes 😭I get the overthinking and anxiety, it makes me glad I’m not alone, though constant practise and being on the roads will do him good
Jesus he's giving me anxiety just watching🤣
Also,it takes a lot of guts to take a test like this whilst being filmed, so well done.
You did a great job Kieran! Do not be too harsh on yourself, new things take time especially if you have been away from driving for so long x
Oh Kieran, I really feel for you. You haven't had any practice since your test, when you get a car book some lessons as a refresher. Good Luck with your driving.
I hope he reads all the positive comments, many of us know exactly what that's like and how discouraging it feels, so you are not alone!
Aman this is the most professional I've seen you! Delt with this extremely well especially at the start when he was flustered. you are a first class instructor and this was a fantastic watch! Thanks for posting!
This is how i was when i first started, really stressed, not able to let go of mistakes, making the whole drive feel like it was a disaster. Youre a great instructor, and if youre reading this mate youll be fine!! Up and onwards. 😊
He was so lovely but a bagful of nerves. I was exactly the same after I passed, and it does get easier, but you have to drive regularly.
I hope he manages to get a car so that he can actually enjoy driving.
He's a bundle of nerves, poor lad, and it's understandable, I have my test next week and if I pass I won't be driving again until up to 5-6 months after and I'll probably be the same. I'll very likely get another lesson or two in with my instructor just before I get a car
Same boat as Kieron. Passed 9 months ago, haven't driven since.
You'll get your confidence as you drive more. Don't stress too much. You've already done the hard part by getting your licence 😊
I passed 9 months ago too but got a car straight away. I am still a nervous driver as there are always new things happening that you haven’t seen in your lessons and I haven’t got people around me that drive so I cant really observe others driving, but the thing that has helped me out a lot is just going for a long drive I went from Essex to Sheffield a couple of months ago and that has helped me so much. So my advice for when you get your car is to push yourself go for a long drive and realise that every driver makes mistakes.
@@Putri-nl2gg You went on an actual road trip!!!!! That's the level of confidence I need.
I'm getting a car this month so I'll take your advice and just go for it. Watching these mock tests also helps to keep the rules fresh in my mind.
I think it's almost been 6+ years since I passed. I did try and do some refresher lesson on an automatic 2 years ago. I just don't feel comfortable and lack that confidence.
I'm hoping to get back on the wheel soon and start driving local at least.
@@majidkhan89 Do it!!!!!! We have to put our licenses to use 😭😭 We owe it to ourselves to eventually enjoy driving 💪🏾
He’s so cute, I wanna give him a hug hopefully he gets more lessons. More vids with him
All you can do is learn from any mistake, Kieran. I waited a number of years before driving, got my car, and my god, so many errors on my first drive through Nottingham City Centre towards Melton Mowbray, cut someone off, straddled lanes and multiple errors, stop being hard on yourself, you'll get more confident!
This is so good.Really helpful for people who wod be appearing for their test.
Just passed yesterday at Erith with 3 minors. Thank you for your videos. I watched a lot of them and picked up many tips. :)
I passed my second a few days ago with 0 minors, your videos helped me a lot while learning to drive and for passing my test!
Well done Kieran, youve got good control and road knowledge but you just need confidence, I was really nervous, actually still am, I stated just doing local short drives then went on busier routes at 7am on Sunday mornings, just build up slowly and you'll get there xxx
Passed my test on Monday first time with only 1 Minor. I had my first lesson on the 27th of September 2023 so only took 3 months. Your videos helped me so much. Even though i have no need for them anymore I thoroughly enjoy watching them! Thank you again!
i passed 1st time yesterday with 4 minors, thank you for everything!!
I really enjoy your videos I think your a really nice chilled driving instructor
When I passed my test, I was incredibly nervous, I had no self confidence. Hills, roundabouts… all the rest stressed me. It probably doesn’t help I’m disabled and can’t go out without someone with me, so being in control of a car, stressed me.
I pushed myself, now (almost a year after passing) I am a very confident driver & i prefer driving to being driven 😂 confidence comes in time ❤
Aw i wish he didn’t constantly beat himself up. I’m glad he has someone friendly and professional teaching him 🤗
I'm so glad I was able to get a car as soon as I passed (a benefit of doing test age 30 rather than 17!)
Well done for putting yourself out here. Your so nervous. You just need to relax. It does not mean your an awful driver just need to relax. I don't mind driving but as Amin say just not dwell on your mistakes and carryin on with the drive and just aim to do better with the knowledge you have.
I just passed yesterday with 5 minors. Your videos really helped me, not been out by myself but with my girlfriend by my side. Got to take that step and drive to work by myself today.
In the first 6 minutes Kieran proves a point. When you get your drivers licence, wherever you live in the world, it is important, even if you don't have a car, to gain experience driving. The first few years especially are so important for your drivingskills. If you are at the beginning of your driving carreer and where not able to practise for a few months, there is no shame in having some refreshing lessons. Even when you have your license for many years, and drive regularly a short refreshment course is also a good idea. Hi Kieran don't get frustrated, Just practise (maybe best with an instructor), You can do this!
He proved that if youre on the spectrum, you shouldnt drive
@@forzahorizongaming5683Wow, what a comment to make. Did you even watch the video?! He hasn't driven in 9 months, his confidence isn't the best, poor guy stressed himself out by making a couple mistakes which like Aman said he tended to dwell on it and it made his drive a bit worse for wear but it is what is.
Don't be a bully by making comments like that, be a better person!!!
@@forzahorizongaming5683 can you?
@@itsamyyy91 I agree with Sammy. The comment of Forza... is totally inappropiate.
@@forzahorizongaming5683 this is such an ignorant comment, autistic people can do anything non-autistic people can do. I'm autistic and a good driver
I like this guy I hope you bring him back on again
Bless him 😅
I passed in November 2023 and still not driven since my test haha keep watching these videos tho to refresh my mind so hopefully when I do get a car I'll still remember haha
I literally thought I had failed about 30 mins into my test, I thought f*** that’s it 🤦♀️ but I was on the home stretch so got the car back to the test centre and it was only a minor fault and I had passed.
It’s easy to dwell on mistakes, I was awful for it but I have had my license now for 4 months and I’m so much more confident, but I think the fact I’m a busy mum and on the road every day helped that, this poor lad hasn’t had a chance to get out there
Driving is a continuous learning process, everyone makes silly mistakes and thats what improves their driving skills. Hats off to this guy for being honest with himself by having more lesson to have more confidence of driving, its all just confidence💯
Its only a mistake if cant be fixed. Every driving fault can be fixed. The msin thing is to be safe and show you are safe. Stop being fascinated with perfection. If youve msde mistake move on. The only mistake is to dwell on
18:30 The guy seems very harsh on himself. I passed my test a month or so ago, but knowing that you have to go before this lorry would have confused me too. It's not often you get a situation like this when learning.
Its painful making bad mistakes, but the pain of them makes them stand out more in your memory so you aren't as likely to repeat it.
The part with the roundabout going straight 2nd ext when in the wrong lane and need to change lanes really is a skill all learers should learn as you are going to get the wrong lane at times or simply need to change directions once past your test .
Oh he's like me... I've passed few years ago and I barely drived since 😭😭 and now I can't start again bc of anxiety
Take this as a lesson; driving in the rain and plenty of hazards in west London
North west London area 😮
At least he already passed. 😅
15:12 when you know West London so well that you had to help
For people who don't know, the road on the left -there is ALWAYS traffic cos it's one of the main roads leading to Heathrow airport
Is he planning on getting a car soon? If so, a few refresher lessons to go over the basics and shake out the nerves would be money well spent I think. I passed 6 months ago and got a car a few weeks later but I’m still a nervous wreck.
If hes getting car, im selling mine. Im not driving with him on the road
@@forzahorizongaming5683don’t be rude. He’s clearly autistic and he definitely needs to be independent so it takes times. I am deaf but not autistic and I’m learning to drive because I have seen my deaf autistic friend passed driving exam and has been driving for 4 years now.
My advice would just be to start out with short simple journeys like to a local shop and back or something and slowly branch further out that way you can get comfortable on some roads you know and slowly increase it till you get your feel for it again
@@forzahorizongaming5683 i agree but tbh theres worse already driving atm who got their licence of the back of a Kellogg box
Solid attempt needs more work 🎉👍
I could not drive in the UK. lol. just watching this was stressful for me.
Love video
I've been learning for 2 years had over 100 hours of lessons and finally have my test in 3 weeks. I hope I pass I've wanted it for so long It feels like il never get it so fingers crossed 🤞
Did you pass?
@@Matt-ef4zn no 😪 1 serious and 4 minors for driving too slow
I think the cyclist one was a bit hard as a serious. Clearly he was just creeping forward as he couldn't enter the road anyway. Seems to be letting stress get the upper hand though.
I passed my driving test last Friday, first time and with only 1 minor. Was so nervous leading up to it but as soon as I sat in the driver's seat I kept calm and my confidence just shone. Your videos Aman have helped me on my journey learning to drive and I'll continue to keep watching your videos, thank you 😁
Congratulations 🎉
Auto or manual?
1 minor is impressive
@@Tetoo2005 Manual :)
I passed my test about 2 weeks ago having just 3 lessons from my instructor. I'm quite doubtful if would pass any mock test with the popular instructors on CZcams.
I have never driven a bridge!! :-D 😀
I’m curious.. a man in this video you don’t have dual control pedals?? Your courage and professionalism is to tier
Awesome Aman can’t wait sorry I can’t stay today I have to go to work today I promise I will rewatch it when I reach home
I'm stilling watching after passing my driver's test.
Well that was scary 😱 🙂
We are very excited to see the video🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
This is what tilt looks like
Poor guy, hes got to remember theres no such thing as a perfect driver, everyone makes mistakes. Some refresher lessons would help him rather than going for a test after 9 months having not driven.
Take it easy
Rather that he makes all the mistakes on a lesson than out there by himself. He got very stressed which is probably why he made those other mistakes . Maybe if he gets a car he can book some confidence building refresher lessons
I passed 3 months ago,I got car straightway,I thought if I get a car late I will be scared.Still I am scared to go new place where I never drove.you will be okay, just take some lesson random area before getting your car.I make chilly mistake but I learn from them.
Bro chill we've all been there 😂
When I make a mistake I tend to speed off I’m trying to break that habit
I’m surprised this driver managed to pass with such nerves. I was like this too, so it’s no hate. But when I did my test I had a very different attitude thanks to my instructor. I feel like he could do with booking some lessons so he has a safe space to just build confidence again.
Suppose it’s a combination of factors
- hadn’t driven in 8/9 months !!!!
- doing a mock test
- it being filmed
- driving around in an unfamiliar area (even when u do mock tests with your instructor u know the route roughly)
5:31 it must be awkward for driving examiners when the driver makes a serious fault really early into their test
He seems too harsh himself. He's stressed out ig.
5:17 good junction observation? He forced the black Vauxhall to stop?
He didn’t, it stopped on its own, he may have forced the car on the left side to stop if there was one, he wasn’t in the Vauxhalls path when it stopped though.
22:24 aman trying not to laugh 😭
This has to be up there with one of the fastest fails on your channel surely? 😂
stressing too much
He is SO nervous
Not really surprising since the guy hasnt been driving for 8 months since he passed his test...
Aiye the gear box has serious issues nothing with the driver.
18:27 Aman was well pissed. If it was in India she would beat him.
This kid isn't safe on the road, completely missed pedestrian crossings several times whilst people were crossing, almost hit a car. If Aman wasn't there, god knows what would have happened.
No need to be condescending. Try not driving for 9 months after passing your test and see how you do.
That’s why people take lessons bro
This is what happens if you don't practice driving after you pass your driving test
Kieran is actually hiding his true skill 🥸
When driving any car never put yourself on pressure, you can not drive properly.
Hii
The route was not easy and his nerves din't help at all.
Why does he put himself down
this is a lesson for if you’ve passed your test, try and drive regularly, cause you will just fall back into being a beginner. This was really bad for someone with a license 😮💨
How is he meant to practice his driving without owning a car?
@@Veztai family, renting, refresher lessons etc. it’s not impossible, unless you fall into a coma.
