I love it when he said it’s important to do your blind spot checks and he didn’t do the left one and got marked for it. He was doing really well but his driving habits and a bit of cocky ness chipped in the second half of the mock test.
I love how this channel is not only teaching me to become a better driver but also has drama and recurring characters. It's like a Netflix show.

Hello A an thank you for the videos I've passed my driving test second time with only three minors however my main concern wasn't the test it's about being a safer driver and getting from point A to Point B in the safest and legal way possible

24:13 it’s that way in the US. It’s wasn’t when I saw 16, but it the law now. There’s a few exceptions, but in general you can’t if you have more than one passenger if they aren’t family or an school event.

Qualified experienced drivers should do a test which is closer to the ADI Part 2 test in terms of what qualifies as a driving fault.

So an driving instructor or an examiner doesn’t ask trick questions like that. They will say turn right or left. His brother needs another instructor because he's not given him any confidence at all.

personal preference, when I'm moving out of parallel parking or similar I don't signal when there are upcoming cars and I can't move (the exception would be if I'm backing up or getting out of parking spot where I can't see the road if cars are coming). when they pass I check again and only signal if I can move and will move. reason: when I'm the driver and see other driver signalling, if I'm too close it gives me a heart attack that the car will start moving, happened many times and the indicator was always on in those situations. it's like if I'm changing lanes and suddenly I see a car and realise I can't change I immediately cancel my signal so the other person don't slam on their brakes just because it seems I'm going to cut in front of them. different situation is when I'm turning, then I keep my signal of course. do you know what I'm trying to say? hopefully :)

Goodness me! Well I gave Jeremy 3 serious, Emergency stop, no left blind spot check, pull off from the left, forced another car off the road, letting go of the steering wheel (the second time isn't recorded). For parking manoeuvre I gave you a Dangerous fault. People walking, and you just carried on moving the car. If I was doing your Test I would also be telling you, less talking more driving!

I mean, he was certainly trying to be entertaining -- and cocky! :) -- which naturally detracted from his focus. I wonder if he really takes his hands of the wheel when getting in an animated conversation, cause I'm half thinking it may have been just for show and to see if Aman would notice (... Of course she would! :D).
One thing I started noticing half way through the video -- to the point of having to make myself stop paying so much attention to it -- was how he kept resting his foot on the clutch, almost constantly pressing it just a smidge, often riding it on half-clutch when sort of slowly accelerating up to the next gear, and invariably pressing the clutch fully in way before the brake when getting ready to stop. And he did mention that he got the bad habit of coasting!
I learnt to check the blind spots. Also to look around while crossing the junctions and while parking to look right & left blind spots.
