I am a marine mechanic and lately we have coined a new phrase in our shop. “How would Sarah do it?” Then we do it that way.
WWSD?
funny. I was just thinking of Sarah today. The boys on another channel were stumped by an airbag module replacement, I was thinking they need Sarah.
Yep, I say that too. I actually cleaned my brake drum parts of my shit box because of this channel.
Thank you, Sarah, for being a silly person! The world needs more silly and creative people. It's a true sign of intelligence.
Most definitely
It’s a testament to the sense of community that has built over time that people like Carl thoughtfully contribute to your projects. 👍 Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
I'm confused.... How does a 1 hour old video have a 4 hour old comment?
@@vendettaminethey are a member on channel yep I didnt know either a button is on desktop version of YT ..i spent an embarrasingly long tome trying on my phone😳
If you join at squid level you get early access to new videos!@@vendettamine
@@Andrew-jh5uv I had the same issue on my iPad until I opened CZcams from a web browser instead of the mobile app. Finally figured it out last week! 😉🤣

"Shelf matches the carpet" - that's a new one. 😊
Heads: We Win.
Tails: We Win.
Keep up the great work, we appreciate you.
A day without Sarah is a day without sunshine.
I’m so addicted to these videos 😆 Your Celia project belongs in a Sema show when you’re done. See you next week Sarah 👋🏻
Her cars actually run and drive when they're "finished," so not really a SEMA car ;)
@@johnkilo3 Still... It should be shown
@@johnkilo3she could set a new standard at SEMA. Restored and re - built cars that is driveable. 😊
I really like the idea of Sema ❤❤❤
Does anyone else wish Sarah could get a couple of weeks in the Bahamas with no internet and lots of Daiquiris?
I don’t drink, and cannot afford that kinda time off, I run this channel 100% by myself.
You do a brilliant job Sarah
@@SarahnTuned you still deserve some relax time, and your viewers would totally understand! wish you could afford it.
@@SarahnTunedafter this project, look into cloning yourself so the real you can relax a bit
@@SarahnTuned Maybe just a long weekend, if you can get cars out of your mind long enough to sleep in and be a bum for a day or two? Nah, I bet you can't do that, it's probably just not in your DNA.
Using the penguin to judge yourself without actually judging yourself is hilarious!
that is why I bought the penguin shapes shirt. it is awesome and fits great.
Sarah, your video showcases not only your expertise but also your unwavering passion for quality car builds, inspiring viewers to approach their projects with the same level of dedication and authenticity.
haha, the joy on Sarah's face at 9:15 seeing a clean part. That was real.
Math is your friend. A while back, a company made a very cheap printer that came with 2 free ink cartridges. They figured they'd capture the market since the printer was so cheap and the 2 "free" cartridges were actually quite expensive. Problem was, the 2 free cartridges (if you bought them separately) were worth more than the printer. So consumers quickly learned that it was cheaper to buy the printer (with 2 free cartridges) and then simply bin the printer when they were done with it and buy a new printer (with 2 more free cartridges). By the time the company realized their mistake, they had lost quite a bit of money. The More You Know! (this trivia was brought to you by lack of coffee!)
And this is when ink companies came up with the “starter cartridge” idea, a cartridge with 20-40% of the ink in a replacement.
@@TheDGeneration Tis true!

Girl, you do amazing automotive work, and I am impressed how you do it all in those fire nails! I keep mine done, but anything longer than short means I'm constantly snagging them! Practice makes perfect i guess! Love your projects, and can't wait to see more of your work on the Celica!
They get destroyed after a week usually
I watch in awe as Sarah wires. Just looking at that tangle of wires under the dash makes my head explode!
Agree. I understand the tray though.
@@Americathebeautiful49right there with you 😂
Pierced a rubber, and now I have a 5 year old. Watching your wire was satisfying as a wire person.
lol 😆
Yikes
A V8 and a Cafeteria tray! Best Celica ever!
Thanks for the build entertainment. I learn something from every video.
Absolutely the best vehicle channel on CZcams.
That shot of you pushing the cart in through the open doorway at 4 minutes looks like you're coming out of a cinema screen. Where you live is pretty amazing.
Thanks Sarah for making many people's Friday much better. 🌻🐧

it is always a privilege to watch you work
"If I shove enough wire up there, it'll go somewhere - obviously!!" A quote to live by!! Your videos are not only inspiring, but they are a heck of a lot of fun!!
I’m so glad that we are your social life. You need to talk when working on cars so it doesn’t drive you nuts.
Sarah, when I need a smile and a laugh I can always count on you and your commentary during your videos. Never change... Looking forward to more on the Celica. Cheers R...
I have learned so much about car wiring from this series. So please keep videoing to the last connection. Sounds like you're almost there.
The fact that you reaching one million subs on CZcams and that your a talented mechanic also that your beautiful is mesmerizing 😊
Thanks! But subscriber number isn't important anymore. Shorts has made it irrelevant because it doesn't actually measure the health and success of a channel.
@@SarahnTuned ..but in analytics CZcams studio you can see the subscribers count from Shorts and long vids which you can determine the health of the channel...also having large numbers of subs from shorts can also transcend into overall viewership which helps in channel value.
If I remember correctly, most American market Celicas of the 1970s did not have air conditioning. My wife’s 1976 Celica GT Liftback certainly did not. That was the only knock on that car. It was fun to drive. Looking forward to seeing this one run!
Way to go Carl !
Im sad im not in there working with you. The punchlines alone. I can only imagine whats cut. Lol
That AC unit was hilarious! It was like a window shaker bolted under the dash!
Sarah your no overload pun was very punny 😂 love it
You are going to have the first $100,000 74 Celica on record.
I can't help but laugh when I watch you work! I love this show.....can't wait till you can give it the beans.
Nice to see the snarky penguins back. Missed the cheeky buggers.
I had no idea an engine swap would be so tedious. The work is really clean though! Fun to watch!
It’s because TV and many other channels don’t actually show the work, or just cut corners to make it look good on camera but not in real life.
Nice job on your production of this video , all the fun subtle edits and sound bites and pop ups that make watching these so entertaining , and the amazing badass celica build helps as well :)
You literally have 2 of my dream cars... even modified how I would have done them! This channel is the best!
You are the Wire Wizard! The Harness Highness! Queen of Loom!
Little cars with big motors rarely have AC (see Shelby Cobra). No big deal...where you live, it's a dry heat 😆. Can't wait to see you give this beauty the beans.
thats why they make it so the windows can roll down!
Sarah n Wire is so fun to watch.
As Sarah descends further into madness, the humour just gets more subtle... an inspiration to all car builders everywhere... keep going...
I love that with your automotive brilliance you still maintain a wonderful balance of naivete (look a bug). 😂 Keep doing ya thang!
Great video, as always. Now, no joke, is this a SEMA build? Your attention to detail is off the charts.
No interest in putting a car in SEMA.
If you aren't running ac, you can delete all the pulleys and run a stretch belt from the crank to the alternator. Also, there are companies that make a tensioner if the stretch belt just isn't what you want to deal with. It will give you more room. I've done it on my uz swaps.
I believe there’s already a factory Toyota belt for fleet grade Tundras that didn’t have AC.
@SarahnTuned yes, but not without power steering. This would allow you to get rid of the power steering bypass bracket and the fan hub pulley completely. You still have the fan hub bracket, but the snout is cut off, and a plate is welded over the hole. It's a very clean solution and can allow more fan clearance.
I have a power steering delete pulley on there.
Just love your work Sarah! I would take one look at that robot spaghetti under the dash and run for the hills 🤣. You make it look easy and you're clearly loving doing what you do. Thank you. 👍🇬🇧
Still the best car builder on CZcams. Nobody does this kind of work alone. Thanks for sacrificing your life to build SnT.
I love hard work
I can watch it all day
😊
Hi from Australia. What a great project. Coming up very nicely 👌. Worked on quite a few of these when they were daily drives in the 80s. Keep up the great work. Enjoy 👍
Hey Sarah, that’s so cool with the shelf my very first modification was putting a shelf in my very first car, an old 73 gremlin. The shelf was huge. It ran from one side to the other. You could probably put 37 penguins across. Have a great one as always. 🐧🐧🐧👍
Love the channel, heard some stuff about another channel you had and just have to say .. be proud of that. You’re an amazing woman.
You are absolutely the best!! My favorite CZcams creator 🥰
Great idea to use the rad hose to make a grommet/conduit.
Back in 1997 I drove a 1974 city bus without ac.
I carried a spray bottle with water in it. Great relief........clothes dried in 60 seconds.
100 degrees F in the bus interior.
It’s looking great. I wish I had half the skill and drive this lady has. If I built this car I would find myself visiting the garage late at night to revel in the accomplishment.
That tag is really cool. I'm trying to learn Hiragana, Katakana, and kanji
Penguin is extra sassy today 😂
That card from Carl was COOL! Take it to an office supply place and have it laminated so the card is protected so it continues to live a long life. Can't wait to hear the Cel-Eeee-Kah roar!
Sarah,
Thank you for posting!
Also there’s a company called something like California cool air or California Custom Air and they do a lot of aftermarket air conditioning! No it’s called VINTAGE AIR Jay Leno talks about them all the time!
Yeah, and nothing they make can change the outcome of this scenario. It’s literally impossible without making an absolute hack job of a car.
@@SarahnTuned Thank you for an honest response! Congrats for shoehorning a V8 into that tiny Tiny engine bay!
I’m so impressed that you finally rotated your rear tires…. Thank you 🙏
Oh, I also had creatures burrowing under the floor of my office; a mama fox and her 8 (!) puppies! I managed to film them frolicing in the sun from my office window the day before they (apparently) moved out! Thank you for what you do + all of your silly jokes and Stay Awesome!
window mounted swamp cooler!
This isn’t a camping hut.
@@SarahnTuned you're not wrong. not really 70s appropriate either. it is just cool old tech 😅

Next build should be hotrod. Can imagine what it would look like looking at the cars you've done. Love details and keeping things clean
I think this car is her idea of a hotrod. It`ll have plenty of HP for this light thing.
SARAH! It's "Japanese", just install an Mitsubishi ductless AC unit to ..... your roof....You truly are amazing 😂👍
We like your overkill. It just makes sense. Top quality builds IMO.
This is such a complex project. You are acing it.
You may want to double check your front bumper mounting as it appears too far forward, impacting your measurements. Really enjoying the series and your attention to detail! Keep it up!
That's not the bumper, its the bumper core, its not too far forward the chrome wraps around it.
Thanks for clarifying 😊. Interestingly I don't believe we had bumper cores on the Australian models - my bad...
5:17 - "There's a bug." 🙂
7:57 - At least you'll have strong hands, having to crimp so many wires. Been there.
10:29 - High school chant, or Faith No More song? FNM forever.
13:53 - I've literally called out for my flashlight in my garage, trying to remember where I last dropped it.
15:55 - "If I shove enough wire up in there, it'll go somewhere." 🙂
Your humor is so relatable. Looking forward to your next upload!

Love your channel. You rock.
Ah, Friday and a Sarah video. My weekend is complete 😊
I actually like the wiring content.
Good! Sadly the next project car is super simple wiring-wise.. but it’s even higher OCD perfection level detail stuff.
Same!!!
I really felt like Sarah not saying; 'You can't have too much junk in the trunk' and 'I'm just wired differently' was a missed opportunity.
On the other hand i guess my age is starting to show
Sarah IS "Wired Differently."
Enjoy Your Fantasy.
CLICKED SO FAST love this build
that car is going to be a exspensiv build..Just love your detaling throue the projekt
I already could have bought a used Lambo for what it’s cost me to build this.
@@SarahnTuned yes but no fun in that shit,,
That OEM shelf is such a killer score, flawless!
11:52 it's weird how people will complain/ make comments about something they're not even working on.
Or have zero clue of what they’re talking about, it’s ok though, some people are genuinely trying to be helpful and have good intentions.
Your penguin should've said "Her electrical puns are shocking!" hahahaha Otherwise great video as usual. :)
"Her?"
Stay relentless- thank you.
I love seeing you use marine materials as I complete the rewire of my boat. I wish for you a hydraulic crimper for the large gauge wires which I think does a neater job.
The back side of the tag is in 'Japanese'. It is a mixture of Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana. Japan uses 3 writing systems all at the same time. Kanji is just one of them. (I don't actually care what you call it. Just giving fun facts since you work on so many Japanese cars. :) )
You dont need that spare tire well. Remove it and install ur radiator in the spare tires place. Installing the electric fans will keep it cool under the trunk. Remove the spare tire well and place a flat sheet in the truck and mount the radiator below that area. It will increase cooling and move more weight to the rear axle. Its ur best solution.
Look up drifting cars rear mounted cooling.
They have rear mounted radiators like some drag cars.
Literally impossible, this isn’t a rat rod.
Why hack that car up for ac lmao
Thank you for making my day, woman of the internet posting videos of cars with the tires mounted in the wrong direction!!! LOL
What are they upside down?
That's SOME WIRE GURL! The BIGGER THE BETTER EH! I LUV the fact that you flip... scurrying on after the coin so you do not forget what you called for what? You are a darling of a trip "Lady Oh!" J
CZcams watchers are just broken animals 😂
Sarah, you are one bad Mother.
So happy Mothers Day!
"Logic dictates" proceeds to break out a coin. 😂 😂 😂
Never seen anybody polish a transmission before. I think you just ROCK!!!
OMG overloaded, wiring, priceless keep um coming .
Those of us who are life long klutzes will know it takes a helluva hit or we barely pay attention we’ve been hurting ourselves for so long 😂 someone will mention a bruise or scar and I’m like hey where did that come from. 😂
Every day is one day closer to done
Junkyard Dave is a sasquatch at 6' 8". LOL. Awesome work, Sarah.
You should check out Vintage Air. They have all kinds of Condenser configurations and as thin as .75". I would hate to see you melting in the Arizona heat.
Doesn't matter who makes what, it's not possible.
This is exactly what I feel like right now as I'm rewiring a 67 international 1100B harvester. Oh how fun wiring can be, at least yours has a purpose.
This is a great project. Can't wait to see it come to fruition.
Put in two smaller ac radiators under the engine / facing the ground and plumb the condenser to the back / trunk of the car. I’ve seen this done on Daytona coupe retro builds and it is effective. But the hose work will add extra labor time. (It’s not like this car will be driven in snow/ off road and intentionally on crappy weather days. It will survive the occasional rain soaking.
Watching Sarah fighting the impulse to make that condom quip is just hilarious.
