Plenary Announcement: Sham elections in Belarus - 11th March 2024

Opening the Plenary Session in Strasbourg, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola said that Parliament will never turn a blind eye to Lukashenka’s relentless crackdown on dissent, and on people being arrested, tortured and imprisoned on politically motivated charges.
