A friend of mine is charging 30€/hr for tutoring 1:1 via zoom currently and it's been working so well for her. it's a plus that it's a super flexible job too! I'm on summer break rn and I just needed that last little push to get me to post my own tutoring ad online and I think this was it lol thanks! and damn y'all are getting taxed as students in the US?? And oh my god why is on campus housing so expensive over there?? I pay less than half of that :o This video was really insightful, even as a European student!
Yay! That's awesome, good luck!! I really think tutoring is one of the best ways to make money in college, it's just hard to get students to tutor. Yeah we get taxed as students LOL, do you guys not??? Also yeah our housing costs so much 😭, it depends on where you live though bc if your college is in a big city you'll pay even more but if the college is in less popular place it'll be cheaper. @@miso-tech I can only speak for German students but we can work tax free for up to 935€ a month. if your income exceeds this you will need to pay income tax but most students here won't really ever reach that sum of money. Of course!! I'm not exactly a CS major but your videos have been really interesting to watch :)

Thank god, finally someone is realistic and not talking about drop shipping and crypto currency and all. I am a Sophmore right now in Canada, trying to get a descent internship. Have been doing a lot of leetcode questions during the summer and trying to get an internships at these big tech companies. DId you get your amazon internship in your 2nd year or 3rd year? or did you get them both years?
Thank you! I got my amazon internship in my sophomore year, and got a return internship offer to come back again in my junior year so I only actually recruited for them in my sophomore year

#1 is a great idea! Tutoring not only helps you earn money on the side, but it also helps you build communication and teaching skills that you might find useful in the future. Great video!
picking a college workstudy job that allows you to work on homework/other things at the same time is SO HUGE. getting that double value for your time is so underrated. Wish I did this more in college for sure
