And that removal gives access to disa valve . Is there only 1 on the 525i?
16:58-:17:12 !! Life Saver, Last Night I gave up because i coundnt figure it out. I woke up this Morning. Your Video is the 1st one i Watched.....Blessings!
These videos are really helpful, thanks for showing us all the tips and tricks when working on our cars.. I’ve got a 330xi... keep in mind I have no mechanic experience at all, but these videos have helped me greatly, I cannot thank you guys enough..!111
I don't know why you only got 54 comments on this video! As far as I'm concerned you got the best car repair videos on the net hands down, accent notwithstanding!
Your Videos have helped me so much during the process of getting my 06 bmw 325i back up and running. I Thankyou for all your hard work
Thank you very much guys for the video and the class on how to do it. You guys are great. Not everybody is going to take the time to do those two jobs of recording and mechanical job. You have to be recognized for that. Thanks again and good luck. Until the next vid!!! Adios!!
You guys saved my weekend and about $800. I would never have tried to do this without your video. Thanks so much for the great instruction.
Great video. Very detailed. Used it to change out CCV & starter while I was in there. Thank you gentlemen.
Very helpful. Especially when you're doing DIY. 2009 N95 engine is a bit different than what is shown in the video, but it's easy enough to figure out. Metric and E sockets are KEY
One thing I would add is when removing the fuel line you should take the cap off of the bleeder valve and release the pressure from the fuel rail prior to removing the fuel line so fuel doesn’t spray everywhere. Your videos are great tho. They have definitely helped me out on more than one occasion!
thank you so much this helped me a lot today & past months replacing my starter/alternator+ cable, intake manifold gaskets, & disa valve!!!
Thank you for all the videos, they help a lot!
thank you for all the videos. youve saved me tons of time and helped me diagnose my high oil consumption issue on my 06' e60 N52. Hopefully by fixing it i wont reveal a bad piston ring issue :) ... my fingers are crossed.
Just the video I needed thank you so much there’s no videos out there like yours
Just bought my 1st bmw yesterday then the knock sensor went bad on the drive back home watched this and got the bad sensor out in about a hour just gotta order the part and wait a few days and slap that baby back in. Thank you for this video lol!!
Great clear video. It helped a lot when I just done mine to replace the starter motor 👍😎
Awesome video guys, really helpful, I managed to get the two screws off the wire loom plug and vertical breather pipe was the worst, the only bit missing from the video lol, i didn't break a thing lol, thanks
Top video guys , I wouldn't have done it without you 👍👍👍
While your there replace the starter and bolts. Great video guys!!
You are extremely helpful, much respect. Thanks for everything.
very informative and easy to watch , I enjoyed it . Great gob guys !!
***kudos to this dude. ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻This mate is one of my favorites.

I cant thank you enough. 🙏. And the other Bimmer and Non-Bimmer guys like you
who help less-fortunate people like me. I thank you all***
Евала, много сте добри! От колега от Австралия.
I cringe every time I see people working on cars with jewelery and watches/bracelets..... I've seen a tech touch the positive post of the alternator with one end of the wrench and the other touched ground momentarily...his wedding ring glowed red instantly and his finger started smoking and sizzling....he made some nice sounds and my guess is he learned a valuable lesson....the hard way.
Never work on cars with rings, bracelets, watches, necklaces or pendants, hoodies with long laces...anything that can be caught in the serpentine belt and drag your head into the rotating parts.
You don't want to find out the hard way, believe me.
Cheers!
Great video as always!
Awesome videos they have helped tremendously now every one around here wants me to work on there bmw lol
Thank you again, guys! starting this now armed with knowledge makes it so, so, so much easier! not necessarily easy though lol it is a bmw! hard headed German lineage just like me! every time the tools come out it's a fkn battle of wits between us! here I go! to be continued...
Do you have a video for valves cleaning with a spray cleaner? (seen it somewhere and can't find)
nice video. Thanks.... I have one question: how can i check if the Intake Manifold Vent Angle Conector is damage on the wiring pins? if i check resistance on the 2 pins for the connector, what value should i get? Should i get also coninuity between those 2 pins? thanks
Thank you so much for your great videos they help me with my 325i so much man life should bring good karma to him for helping so many people.
Great video, thank you
Awesome Videos Thank You!!!!! 🏆👍🏻
You are the best!
Great video, let me add that disconnecting battery (negative cable), insulate battery terminal with rag, will prevent anything from surprising you, such as fuel pump.
Can you make a video on how to replace the ECU fan in E9X vehicles?
Buen trabajo.patron.necesito.cambiar.mi knok sensor1 pense que tenia.que quitar.intake.pero.contu video no necesito.quitar intake thank so much.
would you please explain how to clean throttle for 2016 bmw 640i
I have a question when you went back into the engine bay at the end you showed the starter what is leaking and it looks like it behind the alternator… what is that called
Guys Thanks for the video guys.
Good video my friend, keep up the good work.
Does that "purge valve" even need to be completely disconnected? Can't the entire manifold be pulled out with the valve and hose attached? Of course the electrical connector would have to be disconnected, but would this be possible?
Do you have to relearn the throttle body idle when you reinstall it back?
16:51 I can’t get the purge valve out. Tried squeezing and pulling and it barely moved. Scared of doing damage. Any tips?
Just doing this job now (starter replacement ccv etc.) Let me tell you putting it back together is way harder than taking it apart!!
Did you get any misfires or air leaks?
@@esemarz99 nope, just scratched forearms and grazed knuckles
Always is
oh no, now he tells us! lol
GREAT VIDEO
Crank case wire to junction box under manifold needs to be replaced. I destroyed it replacing starter. How do I replace the wire with crank case sensor?
Good morning question after taking the manifold intake out I turn it over and it sounds like something is in it, is that normal or not? Thank you
What are those 2 plugs at 18:41.. what connect to it?
My 06 bmw 325i automatic won’t go in reverse or drive when putting the Gears , gears go in smooth, all it does makes a loud noise when I go in (D) or (R)
Hi, Thank you for your video. I have X3 2009 can you please send me the link for this part on Amazon cause the link you provide it doesn't include my car..THANKS.
i love you, Thank you
Are these sensor plugs all different? Is it possible to reconnect them incorrectly? Great video, thanks!
Would an n52 intake manifold fit on a n51
why is it so oil under intake manifold? because my has same symptom... I am wondering where the oil came from??
Hello dear bmw friend.
I got the symptoms of my car i using lot of oil and smoke from the exhaust white i think not black.
And only when its warm and the idle can sometime be roughly. My bmw mekanik says is the oil tev thats the problem... Help mee plz 🙏
What is the bolt sequence? There are no body introduce about it
Thanks for the nice video! You mentioned another video on bleeding oil system to solve the valve lifter noise. But can’t find it in your channel. Can you please send link?
I just saw this I'm sure you found that info after a year? I have a 2006 325i and I keep my car in sports mode most of the time but 100% of the time when it's a cold motor because it's keep the rpm higher therefore it warms up faster. when I did the valve cover gasket I saw the carbon deposits from not warming the motor too.
This video is incredible. If I had only the BMW service manual I would have been lost...it's awful in instruction. The instructor in the video took the time to explain "pitfalls" one might have during the procedure and how to avoid mistakes. I also recommend changing the starter while you're in there. This is a JOB!!! did it by myself, changing starter, CCV assembly and hoses. Was having idle problems upon startup and beyond, was getting BMW specific code (can't remember but MAF sensor detected lean condition). MAF sensor did not fix, but CCV replacement did..car runs perfect now. Would recommend good lighting that can be moved (got LED goose neck lamp that worked great), paint all your connectors different colors (used Dollar Tree art paint @ 6 colors for a buck). Used orange duct tape wrapped around cables requiring connect/disconnect because they can "hide" under things. And take your time. Thanks again guys for the well documented video!!!
Looked that code up and it was a BMW specific p1415
i guess this manifold doesnt have a disa valve?? what year is this one?? 325?? 328?? 330??
Take a shot of tequila every time he says guys.
He auto repair guys. Your videos are very informative and hope you can guide me further relating to this video. On my N52 E90 the last "intake boot" that attaches to the throttel body, there is a hose or maybe wire that is attached to it. That thin hose goes up and ends up in between the second and last intake manifold ports if you will. Based on videos that seems to be the oil separator? Wondering how to remove this so I can disassemble the throttle body from the intake manifold. Not sure how I can upload photos here to help with my description. Thanks.
Sorry the oil separator I mentioned is actually the PCV valve as you've described in your video.
Figured it out already :)
When can you do a video cleaning the the carbons in the intake manifold valves e90 ????
N52 and N54 non turbo engines are port injected engines.... There’s no need to walnut blast them as the fuel is sprayed over the intake valves and cleans them while it’s running.
I like how they cut out the worst parts. Assuming they were cussing just like me, lmao
What engine is it exactly? Not N53 as I have that and it has direct injection with big injectors right next to spark plugs and metal pipes going to fuel rail.
2006 year n52 I reckon
No egr valve?
I noticed that this specific car does not have any disa valve , I have the same engine in my 325i and I can’t find the disa valve on my either, so does that mean that some Bmw don’t have disa valve?
I think they got rid of the Disa Valve in 08 models
Hello
Is there a difference between n52 manifold for 25 & 3.0 engine ?
15:55 Thank you
This is not applicable for N53!!! Nor much in common, please do a video with N53 engine E60.
Well you showed me how to connect the the PVC sensor without me having to take everything a part 😂
Actually it's not the PCV valve hose it's the crankcase ventilation hose
I can't believe how complicated the procedure is.
3:58 “ I tooold you” - Tony Montana lol
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I replaced my starter and neglected to replace the gaskets thinking they looked good and now I have to repeat the process to replace the gaskets anyways…
On a2008 x5 v8
How the FUCK does this guy work on the car with no gloves and keep his hands clean ...I can't even open the hood with out getting oil on my fingers bruh
Good video but removing the fuel line ain't really necessary
I did not know the fuel line was that easy to remove.
“Mahalo means family”

22:46 what does he said ??? His Russian accent didn't let me understand if he said batterie ???
pretty sure he said car battery lol. I was trying forever as well to understand
@@rhorwitz732 lol
could you make this video but on a z4 because the engine layout is way different, & with a camera that isn't actual shit?
Why don't you make us one since you must have a professional camera, then we can all judge your video.
ВСЁ!
17:32 he says very simple design lmao.... I own a 06 325xi and have done this job in AZ....nothing about this engineering in regards to removal of the intake manifold is simple lol
Гледам има мартеница,евалата!😂
If you add some WD40 around the purge valve connection to intake it makes removing these connections much easier.
