Sounds good but I’m not getting it’s worth $300 vibes lol
Thanks for the shout out! Enjoyed the review.
This review illustrates what makes this a great whiskey channel: no BS, and when it comes to nosing and tasting you're fully focused on the juice. You have an appreciation for the high end products but don't lose sight of the value proposition. Well developed palates and good memory recall.
Great review. I can’t wait to try mine now
Great, another one I'll never see other than on CZcams.
Knob Creek Rye 10 year for $70.. I'll take that all day! Hell, Little Book 8 for $150 smokes this!
Both solid but haven’t tried triumph
That Carolina Blue looks so much better on Dave than that silly other blue. 😉💙👣
You have to try the New Riff 8 year rye they just released. Tried them both yesterday and gotta say I leaned to the New Riff.
Sounds good, but also sounds like it’s not a must have wish Wild Turkey would do better with their pricing
I haven’t tried either yet but if I could choose one, I’d save my pennys and grab the Russell’s 15yr; not that I will be able to grab either one. Cheers
When are you gonna review Jim Beam 20 Year (2024 Bardstown Collection)?
Campari needs to stop killing us with these asking prices. Sheesh.
It's getting ridiculous
Secondary for triumph is 375-400 so I can’t fault them for trying to get that value instead of flippers. No way I’m spending 300 tho
I can’t believe y’all are actually surprised at the price. They just opened that visitors center, and they’re gonna get all their money from us Turkey fans. This ain’t rare breed. Cause there’s plenty of that on the shelves.
With the old pricing scale I might have pulled the trigger, but I can buy 10 year 95/5 Redemption for a 3rd the price and be just as happy without the pretty box. I will most likely pass on this one. Not that it will have any issues selling out where I live.
Y'all didn't say where you got this bottle?? Inside source? Bottle shop? Love Rye, Love WT.. really trying to get my hands on one of these..
Sorry we got it from the Wild Turkey gift shop they still had them as of Sunday.
@@bourbonkingdom well I’m not scheduled to be there until August 9th.. need to call some guys close and see if they can’t snag me one
So it’s good but is it really $300 good? Price is out of control.
That is the problem. It is great but the price is hard to justify it.
WT is loosing my business with these prices. JDSBBP Rye is sub 75 and better.
@@irewlwatts5443in that context you have rare breed rye. Triumph is an LE (subjective obviously) but it's not like WT is getting rid of their available and affordable products. I agree that the pricing on JD 12, the twice barreled rye and others is way better than turkey
Wish the two younger Russel's would leave the mothership and start their own distillery
Wild penguin or wild ostrich would be a funny name, but would make people forget about the inflated turkey lol
I can buy this right now, but it sounds like it’s not worth the $280 plus the gov’t’s take
Again just not a bottle I will get even if I see it. I'm sure it's great but can't justify paying this amount on alcohol. I will stick with Rare breed rye. Can walk in get it every day for under 60. Personally think these legacy distilleries are hurting sales. Us average people who are on somewhat of a fixed income will never get any of these high priced bottles and BT has lost their minds with the new Weller 7800 please.
No 10-12 year bottle at 104 proof is worth $275 ($300+ after tax). The bias towards an expensive bottle always makes me laugh. I wish more channels did these expensive bottles in a blind as their first review - you would get a realistic review.
Imagine if this channel instead threw Voyage in a blind against 3 other similar bottles and then did a blind. After grading each bottle and what they would pay they then identify the bottles... guarantee no one would drink this bottle and say "Oh yeah, easily $200+ quality".
Sounds like a great idea that most don't do. I would say you should start a channel and start doing these blinds and see how it goes my friend. Cheers
They just wanted to get the letters for Trump in the name lol
