Palworld developers are based in Japan. If Nintendo wanted to bury them they would have done it by now. Nintendo won’t do anything. They sent a cease and desist letter to the guy that modded real Pokémon in to the game which just shows even more that Nintendo will leave Palworld alone.
They won't try and shut it down perhaps, but that competition is gonna hopefully push them to do something new/innovative instead of the status quo...
