    Damn, I was trying to change the shell of my key after 20 years, and the immobilazer was causing me problems for hours. Without your video I would have given up, since i had no clue about the chip...
    Thank you for the video.

    I love your videos. It has a very high educational quality. You say all the necessary things with subtitles and the viewer does not need to listen to B.S. I saw many videos. But your videos are the best. keep it up bro.

    Thanks for this video. What precautions do you suggest to avoid electrostatic damage (ESD) to the circuit board during handling?

    One of the micro buttons fell off mine, so now I gotta purchase a soldering iron as well. Sigh.

    Peugeot 406 ew10j4 Can a low energy key fob battery cause the ENGINE IMMOBILIZER FAULT message?

    • @screwsnutsandbolts

      No I don't think so, the power to read the transponder chip comes from the car. As far as I know the battery is just for the door open and close buttons.

      @screwsnutsandbolts  Před rokem

      I don't know if you can reprogram a used chip. You can buy a new chip relatively cheap but it's usually quite expensive to have programmed

    I couldn't understand what you fixed? In total, you moved the board with the new battery and the chip to a new remote, is that it? I just have a problem with this Citroen remote control, the start button can be pressed but it doesn't do anything and I tried to change the battery + clean the board with contact spray, I would appreciate your help🙌
