You couldn’t tell me 2 years ago that we would be seeing Jake Paul boxing Anderson Silva with chael promoting the fight. The MMA world is a crazy place
I couldn’t of told you but I wouldn’t of ruled it out either. Because the combat sport world is a crazy place.
@@DESOUSAB I mean they’re not necessarily always equivalent, however, in this case he is promoting the fight by moderating. His presence alone is promotion, which is why they chose him. On top of that, he decides how to direct the questions and illicit responses. It’s 100% promotion

He’s honestly the only person i think that could promote a fight as well as Dana or Vince (by promote i mean sell - not run the entire promotion) Man I wish Andersons english was this good back during his reign. Not speaking english really held back his marketability, such a shame when his english finally got good his peak was over.

Rumors have it that Jake challenged Chael first, because he saw Chael was a wrestler, and Chael accepted. Once Jake saw footage of Chael dominating and battering his opponents, and going undefeated and undisputed. As soon as he saw that Chael was the greatest wrestler and striker in MMA history, he had to back out. Anderson then stepped in. Once again, Chael proving why everyone's ducking him.

I think this is the best side of Jake we've seen he's humble and truly amazed he's fighting the GOAT of MMA. I grew up watching Andersons magic in the octagon and I think well see something special in the squared circle. What a great event and a nice tribute to Elias Theodorou the fight world lost another warrior.
But Chael butchers his name as usual. However, I do not think its disrespect. I think he just sucks at names. You know, Blahall Mohamed. Khazmat Cheemiev. The only name he gets correct is Jake Paul and Anderson Silva. But every other name he butchers. lol

This is the absolute best combination for me as a fan. The moments between Silva & Sonnen were priceless. If you're a true fan of the UFC, watching "The bad Guy" on the Mic doing what he does, & Jake & Anderson being respectful to one another. All I gotta say is, I might actually buy this pay per view, instead of watching it on CZcams (the next day) I would love it, if Dana was in attendance. That's probably asking too much, but hey you never know!
Also, could we some how get Michael Bisping, & Chael to call the fight? If that happened, I will send in my money right now (for the PPV).

Great to see the interaction between Anderson and Chael. The grudge they had was settled in the ring and now that is over. They can go on to be friends or at least civil to each other. That is a great look. Remember MMA is a sport. The key word is "SPORT". Let us keep it that way. I hate fighters who feel they can attempt to beat up (harm) other fighters outside the ring. That is illegal.
