Does this also applicable to mothers? i.e., they're permitted to take their children's wealth when in need?

What if it is a mother? And she goes crazy when I don't give my earned money. For example if I earn 500, I want to keep 200, but she's completely against. She says either keep it all or give it all. I want to go out and buy things that I want. Then I feel horrible because Jannah is under the feet of a mother. Please advise. Is it wrong for me to keep portion of my earned money?

      Why don’t you keep all?

Also ask the shaykh on zoom or on his website, he doesn’t answer via comments

In Islam you are always 1st in charity, you have to fulfill your essential needs 1st. He is talking about possession, possessions are the accumulated wealth, extra money, example property, bank savings etc.. but as you said 500 then you have to eat from it 1st . You and your family come 1st. You have to be kind to your mother not destroy your life for anyones greed. If she is poor and needs for her essential expenses then ofcourse you have to share in a way that you both can eat from it. No 1 person can control your wealth or dominate you because in islam we all have rights.
