One of the archers here in Aus bought one of your grips for her cxt.....its lovely mate! Sent you a pic mate
Glad your enjoying the diamond on the pressure point... it was our request from standard for all our tempest risers here at Border
Saw a Tempest in the flesh for the first time this year; an absolute thing of beauty teamed-up with some really recurved Border limbs, looked great.
Sounded like a howitzer going off with every shot, but looked great.
Very exciting... I think those will do great! definitely going to pick up the barebow grip to try when they are released!
Congrats Jake! This is outstanding and very very cool!
Awesome work Jake! Beautiful! Just went to R Core's site and your grips pop at the beginning of the page. I've made my own grips and I've also added material to better adjust to the web between the thumb and index finger, but had to remove quite a bit as it was rubbing too much with the head of the metacarpal phalanges on my thumb, which during long shooting sessions would create a blister and now a callous.
Glad you've been working with R Core :)
Awesome! I’m ordering mine now!
Been working with Aris for years- amazing guy, always got your back and into new ideas.
The second ones colour is amazing, so bright!
Hi Jake.
I bought and tested today your bb standard grip. Really nice, made a noticeable difference in my bow shoulder and overall stabilization. Aka tighter groups :)
Wish you and RCore all of the success.
Boo for W&W as it's not a perfect fit for my Winact VT riser. Bought in the past a wood grip that I modded and it didn't fit good at all, despite W&W's compatibility chart
Aris has sent me over one to try out mate- Can't wait to give it a go- addresses all issues I had with my prior grip on paper.
Have been using the super low grip on my ATF, feeling is great
My barebow grip arrived today can't wait to try it tonight on my Gillo GT25:)
After you first mentioned them a while back reviewing some of their products, I spent a couple of months back and forth with rcore customising a grip for myself. They are immensely accommodating and amazingly detailed with their service. I couldn't be happier with mine and couldn't recommend them enough if anyone wants THEIR grip 👍
It's a joy working with Aris, isn't it?
Just received one of the barebow grips for my Hoyt Xceed. So much better than the stock grip, easier to get into consistent position (I like the built up area near the thumb), the lower angle means palm pressure is more consistent and I’ve found a torquing issue I had is all but gone. Nice work!
I’m glad you like it!
Technology today! freaking awesome.
I like the addition of the fill in at the top of the grip for the thumb. That’s one of my problem areas. Any recommendations on low vs high for small hands, is one better than the other?
I bought this grip to replace my standard Mybo Elite 25' riser grip and it made a huge difference. Now the grip feels very natural and stable.
Which one did you get?
I also have the Mybo Wave Ten and I hate the stock grip.
Excuse me Jake, to be sure. I am very keen to purchase it.
1) So if I mounted the recurve grip, should I expect to add more weight on the long rod in order to re-balance the bow and make it not tilted upwards and more stable?
2) I can't see if the grip has got a small protrusion to contain sliding the index finger, as you did on custom grip video and I have got on KSL grip as well
Catchy name, that, Jake; The I Am Recurve LPP Grip.
...and I *just* ordered one of their master grips.
I have the YeO Low grip and it's a great training tool! I wanted to try their CAERUS grip but now I want to try this one. How would you compare this to the Win&Win type 7 grip aside from the low pivot point?
Hey Jake, I love your videos and your knowledge helped me a lot. I started to show at 70m 2 weeks ago, and without the knowledge and advice I got from watching your videos, I would have never been able to do that.
I have a question regarding your RCore grips. As you mentioned, there are different angles for your grips and all the other RCore grips. Which angle do you recommend? Or is the "default" angle your recommandation?
Greetings from Germany
I would go for the default angle. That’s how I designed it. But I am biased.
Hello Jake, unrelated to this video, did you ever post a video that included stiffening the plunger with 2 springs for tuning? I vaguely remember a video about it but don’t know who posted it. :)
How many degrees are your bare ow grip? It's looking very nice!
They look half decent mate!
I got my "i am barebow" grip today, original angle as designed, for my Hoyt Satori.
I used your link and also the discount Code, thanks for that!
I am very happy with fit, feel and quality of the product, the glass material is absolutely great!
I really like the flat surface and the edges compared to the original Satori grip.
Thanks! I'm glad to work with Aris over at R Core, he makes a great product!
Super stoked about the barebow grip, ordered one in cryptonite green glass. I am a little curious what angle your original grip has in relation to the low grip with 30 degree angle. Oh and the Kaminski at checkout did not seem to work. But I am really looking forward to receiving the grip and trying it out. 🙂
If you email them they will give you that 10%
I was expecting one grip that I was probably going to buy but you release 3. The LPP seems very interesting to me with RCore's description of if having some benefits for people with large hands I might give it a go.
well. I never do anything half way.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery R.I.P. my wallet LOL.
I will have to see if I can get a recurve and a barebow for my riser.
Hi Jake, really good showcase, is the original hoyt stock grip on the high side? thanks
Medium high in my experience.
I have got it! I am eager to mount and feel it
Finally I am testing it!!
1) pyramid diamond amplifies the direction being applied on the pressure point at expansion. Super great to better incorporate "tension and direction" in my shot sequence.
2) holes for my GMX might be centered a bit better for perfect fitting but I managed anyhow to screw the bolts without forcing
I have been shooting with your barebow grip and… it’s easier, imao… and is beautiful grip (cristal version). Thank you and rcore.
I have a Spigarelli BB 25 riser in silver...will it fit this riser...I stoked with your new designed grip for barebow !
I think they make grips to fit that riser.
They all look nice. I've never tried a glass grip, I'd be worried about slickness with them if your hands are sweating. I've no idea if that is a real issue with them or not though. They do look good however.
Actually because they are so smooth it actually “grips” your hand pretty well.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery That's Interesting, it seems pretty counter intuitive to me but it's good to get real world information from someone that's tried them. Thanks.
I see there is an unusual hump on the left side of the barebow grip? you didn´t mention it and kinda hide it most of the time 11:25 is a good view of it.
It´s also not visible on the rcore product page? could you say a word or two bout it?
It’s not part of a standard design and is something I am
Debating on including as a feature. It’s a lever for an index finger pressure spot I messed with in Rio.
Where can I buy better grip? I've been using tennis grip for my riser to make it alot mo comfortable
The barebow grip in electric scope green would have been nice, but Rcore doesn't list my bow brand; KINETIC NOVIUS/ARIOS. At least not yet.
Or the glass one in Kryptonite green 🤩😍
I think the grips on those bows are very inconsistent as far as where the holes are from
The manufacturer and is why they don’t carry them. I have an idea for a solution for him
Hi, interesting about lowering the pivot point, does it make any difference to the required nocking point?
Slightly, can’t remember which way.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery It must alter the tiller by quite a way as you are "heeling the bow" somewhat thus making the lower limb more influential which lowers the nock height and causes shots to go higher than standard ? This was my exact q such a low pressure point is outside design spec of the riser and will alter nock and tiller a lot ?
Awesome! But glass?
The breakable shattering shards kind?
it's plastic glass is the look
@@mikebyford5258 Thanks!
I'm confused, wouldn't lowering the pivot point be similar to just altering the tiller in some respect?
I suspect the same. My crawlings got bigger with a low pivot point, but my bow arm and shoulder got a lot more stable. Must play with the tiller bolts in the future
It is a shame that there is no grip for the Kinetic Novius
Unfortunately not available for my Smartriser.
Hi Jake, I am interested in the grip and I wonder which material works best for the grip sear game. Currently I have a wooden grip and it isn't as consistent as I would like due to the grains causing some shot anticipation.
The glass grip is best for that.
I wonder if this barebow grip is slippery in summer when its hot and humid outside?
Actually it isn’t, even if it’s called glass it’s considerably grippy
Did you work with R CORE in the development of the KTEENOS grip. Because it is the one I have and it is wonderfull
I did not.
KTEENOS grip was there for two years now, way before the collaboration effort of him and for R Core I AM grip.
@@wanr5701 I just asked because that grip is based on KSL and I do not know when the collaboration between both started.
the Master, Kteenos, Standard and Tax Evasion are RCore oldest designs
Which one profile are yours for recurve? 30 degrees?
They are offering my “stock” slope now.
Are these just for Hoyt risers ? Will you be producing any for W&W?
R Core will make them fit to the riser you want
@@Katzekaze correct, and the compatibility list is very informative.
RCore support 50 different riser brand & models. eg there's 8 different W&W/WNS options alone. Each grip is typically custom made to order due to all the possible combinations of materials, RH or LH, grip angle, anti slip patterns & life line ridge options. I ordered a wood RCore model for my Chaser Python earlier this year & I'm super happy with it.
What would be the best approximation for a Samick Vision riser?
I’d email Aris at rcore and ask. He knows far more than I do on the manufacturing side.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery thanks! Also, any thoughts on what I might consider on a grip for someone who is still mostly used to longbow and is still trying to get comfortable with a recurve grip after over a year?
Which one would you recommend for small hands?
The LPP unless you’re shooting barebow then the barebow will be best for you.
I shoot a Sanlida X10 but it's not listed on his brand list, is there a custom work around for it?🤔
Hearing the the screw hole location on that riser is VERY inconsistent so they won’t make a grip for them? Maybe I can work on a solution.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery Hmmm, may have to come up for a visit & do some shooting again with you & Heather to give you a look at the handle & to see y'all's "new coop". 😘❤️😏 Still waiting on those long sleeve fishing shirts. 😁
@@JakeKaminskiArchery Any measurements I can provide for the research? Or I could have them make an opac solid handle & mark the holes to drill myself as long as it fits the riser correctly. 🤔
I’ve used the Hoyt High Performance Recurve Composite Grip (left-handed) on the Sanlida X10 with no problems which makes me wonder if the Hoyt base would actually work with it.
@@jasonwalker374 Thank you Jason for that tidbit. Sanlida is a OEM for several brands, maybe Hoyt is one of them? Do you shoot left-handed?🤔
Ordered a plastic one for recurve with low grip, lifeline and anti-slip. Didn't find anywhere to enter the 10% off code, but only 12€ shipping to Belgium so I'm happy.
Send us an email so we can fix it for you!
@@r-corebowgripsandaccessori4221 I've sent one, I prefer to have it given it to Jake instead ;)
Just went to order, but with deliver being almost half the cost of the grip I’m going to have to wait 🥲
Can’t find link?
Its in the description, rcore.co?aff=5
can it send to jakarta?
I am not sure, check out the Rcore website!
Question: Did you just buy that pink Exceed on ebay? Cause about two weeks ago I was about to get a really good deal on one and somebody beat me to it
I did not.
Haha I can see this pissing off Sid at Border.. He likes to complain when people use 'his' ideas. The grips look great, RCore are a great company glad you have collabed with them.
He commented below and didn’t seem to upset. I had to modify it for my
Liking, it was too aggressive and too rough on my hand on the prototype.
@@JakeKaminskiArchery Good to see! It's an interesting idea I'd like to try myself.
R Core do the factory grips for Border Tempests, if I heard correctly.
@@Hybridesque Yes you can get the Masters or Kteenos in high mid or low as stock with the Tempest. Aris can make any of his grips to fit the Tempest though.
