Yeah its so weird how emongg is chill and even if he finds something funny, he understands they don’t know better and breaks down why it’s bad and what they should do instead. Yet, his chat has a lot of the most toxic players that love the chance to dog on and genuinely insult players in BRONZE trying to get better, because it makes them feel better about their gameplay.
This is why he is my favorite overwatch creator and the main reason I have gotten better and want to continue to get better

I think my favorite thing about spectating bronze with mr mongg is that sometimes the gameplay is so low level that he doesnt even understand whats happening or something works out that generally doesnt in any normal rank
I almost wonder if they were taking Emongg's advice to "not play Dva like Reinhardt" and "take the high ground" too far lol

I’m currently working at Walmart and each time I go on my 1 hour lunch I always watch you spectate bronze and ranks like that, thank you and the best part is that sully could be in it which makes my dopamine levels go maxed out
i love how theyre confidently going into enemies with low hp. they see their supports ahead and not healing them for a bit, so they just go back to the enemies and they almost always live. this person is SUPER familiar with bronze and know when it's safe to dive head first into an enemy while low hp and i admire that so much. they always get healed in time, they know more than i ever will

Welp...i played Bastion in OW1 and still i was able to sneak behind the enemy team. XD I always wondered "Doesn't the enemy team hear a 500 ton piece of metal walking around? XD " . :P I know there are a lot of different sound effects in the game and some of them can be quite loud,but still...how can you not hear Bastion's loud footsteps? XD

Well chief some people (console, obviously) play on their 60 inch tv without headphones, pair that with many of my fellow console players having the awareness of a concrete wall, thry won't check around them if anyone is there, which leads to them get flanked or spawnkilled (dw I play on a monitor with a headset)
I have a console with a 60inch TV and I've ALWAYS played with headphones. Games like this is very heavily based on sounds. And I main support so I'm always paranoid about foot steps. You gotta be some kinda crazy to refuse to use a headset. You can even use cheap asf ones and still get more info then just playing the game threw your speakers.

The classic sniper Dva. Ran into one of these yesterday. Playing CP, dude literally never touched point, would only use his thrusters to get onto a piece of highground and spam missiles.
Bronze is MORE skilled and MORE difficult than any other level. The meta down here is as real as it gets. If you assemble the bronze all stars we'd beat any pro team out there
I saw a certain GM Tracer blink off the map live on twitch just this week, it's not only bronzes who do it 😂

i don’t get a low rank tank insistence upon doing directly at the other tank while there’s a support standing two feet behind them pumping them with hp. go get that ana and let your dps take care of that rein. yes, ideally dps would take care of both, but if you’re dva who can eat ana’s every ability, go for her, don’t just shoot rein’s shield 😭

I feel that one of the problems is the game not indicating clearly that you’re barely doing damage. From a distance you still see hit markers and headshot indications just like you do from up close.
Once again the no-falloff gang reins supreme
you can see their hp not going down, a clear indicator that you're not doing damage

Sniper Dva and Reaper is the most frustrating thing to see on your team. They think they're doing something because they hear the hitmarker sound. And have no understanding of damage fall off. So you cant tell them sh1t. They cant comprehend how they're being useless.
I love the contrast between emong and jay3 while emong is always kind and gives advice jay is just straight trash talking

Metal ranks generally aren't confident enough in their aim to focus anyone but tank due to bigger hit boxes.

I have been yelled at for DM'ing things like our genji doing a dry blade... barrage... I will also DM the enemy genji that's blading. So he doesn't get healed. Then I get yelled at, and then I don't do it next time, because 🖕 them for being idiots, and they die immediately.
It boggles my mind, in a 7 year old game... people still can't understand basic concepts like SHIELDING YOUR TEAM. The thing us tanks catch the most shit for now, under masters. But no. I'm wrong. Sorry I kept you alive while you were standing still, about to be 2-tapped by the mercy pocketed ashe
why are you abandoning your team and letting them die just because they don't understand your job? that's the most callous thing I've heard in a while. do the mature thing and mute+block them and continue doing your job.

i cheered in joy when they finally threw a dva ult that wasnt a panic/mech death ult. i have almost 500 hrs on dva and i rarely ever panic ult unless its OT. you dont always have to ult upon mech death, you gotta assess if its worth or not.
other than that, tho, his aim and mechanics werent terrible. this player definitely has potential to climb with a little more practice :)

His dva mechanics isn’t bad . He just needs to be more aggressive that’s it
he's ok at playing FPS, but his Dva is actually bad. Poor range awareness, no map awareness and really bad character mechanics usage (no matrixing on team members only right in front of him, poor ults).
Overall very clearly bronze.

I'm not sure. But the pool of players in higher ranks is a lot lower then mid-low ranks. So you will play against/with the same people constantly.

Why does drawing exist?
It’s a lose-lose, cause it counts effectively as a loss for both teams
drawing exists because there are times when neither team is able to win. it doesn't make sense to categorize it as a loss when neither team technically lost.
it doesn't count as a loss, btw. it counts as a draw. if you're referring to how your rank officially moves after five wins or 15 losses and draws, that doesn't mean the draws affect your rank the way losses do. they lump the draws in with the losses so you don't have to lose even more games in order to see your rank change.

@@Marika_ER i think this is a very easy way to determine whether you are an optimist or pessimist lol if you see a draw as a loss because you gain nothing, you're a pessimist. if you see a draw as a neutral thing because you lose nothing, you're an optimist. it's the overwatch version of a glass half full lol
