  • Channa Bleheri and Channa Brunnea are very similar and often get mixed up in the aquarium trade. Bought some new Brunnea so thought I would make a direct comparison to Bleheri to see exactly how to tell them apart.
    Small tank is only for shooting purposes only!!!

    A video idea: u should talk abt the channa limbata and gachua and how theyre practically the same species

      I have seen many people show Gachua and Limbata from different countries and different regions and there are some tiny differences but I really think they are basically the same. If I can get my hands on a Gachua I might do this comparison. Thanks for the idea!

    Hi, in your opinion, is it possible to maintain a pair of Channa brunnea or bleheri in a heavily planted 100x30x40 cm (120L) aquarium ?

    Which is better,Sand or substrate for channa tanks?how frequently do we change water and what percentage? Plus if it's gravel,how frequently do we gravel syphon to remove the waste trapped between gravel to avoid infections and water pollution...pl. Share your experience with us...

      I prefer sand or bare bottom, avoid gravel and lava rock. Aqua soil is actually also great but its expensive, especially for those larger tanks. If you use a gravel siphon, that should happen every time you do a water change which is once every two weeks for my tanks.

    Can we mix 2 species of channa .... they are juvenile ...andreo and rainbow belheri

    • @ChannaScaping
      @ChannaScaping  Před 2 lety +2

      Usually Channa from different species are super aggressive to each other, even more so than to their own species so it will probably not end well. Best advised to not mix😁

    Can we keep channa bleheri and chocolate bleheri together in a same tank? I was planning to keep 2 chocolate bleheri and 2 channa bleheri in my 3.5 feet tank will it be ok ? Thank you🙏

    • @ChannaScaping
      @ChannaScaping  Před rokem +2

      I have kept them together before temporarily and actually it was ok (5 bleheri and 3 chocolates) . I think this is one of the species mixes that are OK due to them being so closely related.

    • @ChannaScaping
      @ChannaScaping  Před 9 měsíci +1

      2ft is probably only one to be honest. For a group you will prob need a 3ft tank.
