ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

I love the full version of the song... but when you see the movie version it just sounds so much more powerful (wait til you see it) prolly because of the acting too, gives it more emotion. Great nonetheless.

This song was probably the best thing they could have added to the movie. My husband and I were in the theater in awe.
The entire movie was actually REALLY good. We were surprised how well-done the live action adaptation was. The CGI was really odd in places, but overall it was wonderful. And this song...YES.

Naomi have a really amazing voice since her Disney Original film Lemonade mouth and she is the best for the role of Princess Jasmine. So glad that they added a solo women impowerment song for her role and always glad to hear your inputs and review of the singer's voice. 😁 Also you definitely need to watch the movie it is so good!!

Try the Malaysian version of the song. The grunt in her voice and also that high falsetto she does at the end gives me chills

I love how her voice is like naturally deep the first time I really heard her was with lemonade mouth that movie and than I just really fell for her voice it’s so good and I love how she maintains the notes equally it’s like perfect notes

The part where she sings “Hear the Echoes saying I-I won’t be silenced.” Always…ALWAYS gives me the most goosebumps. The way the orchestra and her tone sync and harmonize is just *chef’s kiss* beautiful.
I believe that in the movie near the end she sang this song LIVE on the studio and that is how it was left on the actual film and it sounds so very powerful, you should tell your thoughts on that after you watch the movie😊
She only did it live up until the guards let go if her. So basically up until the first chorus
In the movie version apparently she was actually singing during filming so in conclusion she looks fantastic hitting those notes
Yep... She was... The whole scene was taken at once... You can see that clearly in the BTS... It looked and sounded gorgeous... This is in my top 15 for sure...

I saw the film a few weeks ago with my dads girlfriend cus we are both huge Disney fans. I loved the film and this song works so well for the character. and it goes off. its rousing, its meaningful, its powerful. Naomi is gorgeous and her voice is stunning. and i love the styling and arrangement of this song as well. It was written and composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul who are responsible for the music in La La Land, The Greatest Showman and also wrote the musical Dear Evan Hansen and i fell like they have a signature style that when you hear their music straight away you can tell it is theirs. i knew when i first heard Speechless within seconds that it was a Pasek and Paul song. I love it so much cus i love their musical style, i love the arrangement and i love her voice. I just bloody love this song so much. Dare i say it but better that Let It Go. their i said it.
Damn, if Pasek and Paul were responsible for this, no wonder it sounds that good.

The end gets me everytime. The way she hits that register she hits singing speechless and the way she cuts it abruptly just adds some drama and tension that makes me want to listen to it again but also leaves me with chills

I saw the movie for the first time this month. I've been waiting to hear this song ever since the movie was showing and it was everywhere on CZcams. Omg, this is my first time watching your video and I love how you break down the elements of the song, and I totally agree. I'm such a fan of Naomi Scott. She is incredible in how dynamic her vocal techniques are in this song. I am totally gonna watch more of your videos, cause I haven't ever gotten a vocal coach before. This was educational and it's like I leveled up just watching you describe things. And I've been learning how to merge my wide range into a seemingly seamless register like how Naomi just seems to magically merge various techniques to deliver the way she does in this song. I love this song & I’m a huge Naomi Scott fan! The 1st time I heard her sing was in Disney’s original movie Lemonade Mouth. She is incredibly talented & she made a wonderful Jasmine! I thought the live action Aladdin was really good!
