Imagine if you had taken notes for like a quiz or something and you accidentally left it outside while it was really hot and the sun melted the wax just like getting rid of all your notes- tbh I'd cry 😂
I'm from Italy and when I was a kid they used to take us on school trips to some ancient roman city ruins near my town and they made us write on these wax tablets, this video was super relaxing and it also brought up such fun memories lol
I do agree but I think from the words I could make out it seemed like she was writing more for the sounds than the text itself!! As most of it seems irrelevant, and the fact she used the wooden stylus which doesn’t make a clear indent, but a nicer sound than the metal! But it would be nice to hear her voice too, however if your fond of it her history bedtime stories are perfect!!

I suggest a better angle for the light so we can see better what you are writing :) Also you should keep the metal thing in the candle longer so the heat can actually transfer. Otherwise this was a great ASMR video.

It’s like first version of a white board, Also you’re supposed to press harder on those and actually leave an indent. That’s why it didn’t erase what you did that well. Edit: nvm you do it later in the video 😂
Ahhh I love your accent- I grew up with one parent who had a heavy St lucían accent (sounds like a mix of Trinidad, Jamaican and French lol) and then a parent who grew up in Los Angeles. It resulted in me pronouncing words and speaking in a very strange way, especially because i grew up in New Orleans so there was also me being surrounded with that accent lol. I’ve been told so many times: "Oh you’re from New Orleans? You don’t have a New Orleans accent! I thought you were Indian/Hispanic!" And I’m just like :’)
I have exactly the same small tabula! I am thinking about "re-waxing" it with a softer beeswax, the wax they sell it with is a bit too hard to write on.
Man with the right binaural mics and audio edits in post (lots of noise removal - not completely, but mostly, volume leveling, bass gain, treble decrease, and the right compression) this video would be an easy go-to for me
