At the time it was reported he was in contact with Nottingham Forest about joining them while still with Rangers.
He walked straight into the Forest job without missing a beat after resigning from Rangers.
Not terribly strong grounds for an Unfair Dismissal claim.
As usual with the BBC no balanced view, just anti-Rangers bias.

I’ve been a rangers fan for 35 years and love the club but if this is true it’s absolutely shocking, we go on about standards at our great club but this is an appalling way to treat a manager. The utmost respect to Mark for the way he treated this situation and keeping his dignity, whoever was in charge at this time and made the decision to handle it this way needs sacked. Wish you all the best Mark, i appreciate what you did for our magnificent club 🔵⚪️🔴🏴🇬🇧

He was hopeless, talked a good game, but never delivered the goods, never a Rangers manager.

A little too much passing, like never knocking a corner into the box. Always played short corners. Our defensive set pieces were very suspect during his tenure too.. Apart from that, he was good. He wanted to play football the right way.
@@itellyouwhy6957 a get what your saying mate, regarding funds & players, a liked him at the start, got us back up to the main table, but he just wasn't for me, at the end up, he be became very predictable & irritating to listen to, that's probably because the results were bad, maybe he was just at the club at the wrong time 🤔👍
