- We have two hogs that need butchering and the weather is perfect for it! Our addition isn't done though! What to do? Do it anyways! Getting things done even when they are hard is part of being successful in life! Come see some younger kids learn where their food comes from!

Great job---it's a family affair! Yes, children can do more than play video games and the best thing you can do for your children is include them in what you are doing. Sending a "Hi" to Mrs. Flannel. God bless y'all and keep growing.
Hi Brian. Your sense of humor goes a long ways in making even the toughest &/or most mundane tasks seem fun. (Very nice looking 'luxury work shop - kitchen extension', etc.).
So nice to have a great place to break down a hog! It's great that your friends wanted to learn how to cut it up too. It's great they can copy what you're doing with your side at the same time. Wow, 250 lbs of hanging weight for each pig. Cute about the "fandalier" butchering setting! It sounds like you'll be rendering some good lard off those pigs. Thanks for this video Flannel Farm family!
The new space is looking wonderful and so is all that fresh meat. Great that it served as your butchering area before you got it all finished. Stay warm and safe.
The addition looks so great! Congratulations! It's been blessed by your latest bountiful harvest! He is good!
Amen!
Nice Bartering remodel for hog fair enough thats for sure! And that is how you break in a addition!! love it!!
Wow so awesome brougham!
And so nice - not only to have all of your fingers when you're done, but to be able to actually feel them... 😜🙏🙏
Those were two MEGA hogs! Yes, definitely better to pitch in many hands (makes work seem like play) then DIY, which can become very tedious and just making it into drudgery. Greetings for Mrs. Flannel Farm, your kids and you Brian! 👍👋🤠
Great video A lot of great information,.. Your addition is beautiful I love the colors....
❤very nice! Love the Fandolier...
That is awesome!
Fantastic
Great job 😊
That's awesome. My husband and I have been talking about buying a pig like your friends did, due to our property it would be difficult to raise one here. I loved seeing everyone working together to get everything done. Stay warm , the wind has moved in now here, not sure if y'all are getting it now too but burr......
It is dropping fast here!
Wow great job 👏 love the fandoliear
Congrats! Good job 👍
AWESOME!!! I totally get it, brother. For many reasons, this video makes me smile. Thanks! 😁♥️👍🙏
Gladly :)
Congratulations on that great honor and accomplishment!!! 😁🏆 Seriously, carefully preserving those two pigs IS a blessed accomplishment.
It really is! It is a big responsibility and when it goes well we have a huge sense of relief
Grate!! I mean, Great!!!
Very cool
Ha! I loved this first in history event!!! ❤️
Very nice addition brother.
Thank you my friend
Fancy, Fancy, Fancy, fancy.
Fandelier (fan-duh-leer): For butchering pigs and such under.
Looks like y'all had a full day! Are you going to host pig butchering classes in part of the addition one day?
Yes! That's the goal anyways
That's some MEAT dude! 360 lbs?!
I'd guess they were 350-400 live weight, I need a hanging scale but they aren't in the budget currently lol
Just subscribed mate. From Christmas Island.
How cool is that! You're really out there. Welcome and thank you!
@@FlannelFarms no worries mate. I also run cattle here. Goats, wild pigs, anything. I also plant corn(not lab corn) which is our main staple food here. I'm a third generation farmer. Portuguese descent. Food prices are high mate. Homesteading is the way to go. My son and daughters, thevve got degrees, they returned to island life, and run the farm. City life nowadays, ain't no good anymore. Chaos. Gday mate.
@user-ci4ds1sw4b I completely agree! Not only are is food expensive, but it isn't as good for us as home grown stuff! Well done on your kids, they sound like solid people.
It's sad you don't live closer. If you were in Corpus Christi TX we could have gladly help for a few pounds of pork😊
That would have been lovely!
From today on your are Lord Brian Flannel Farms ☺Everyone in favor say AYE 😂😀
I like it!
Lord Brian, First of His Name!
BAHAHAHAHA! THE opulence of your fancy piggy harvest! The pigs are wearing tophats in Heaven!
Hahahaha next time all must wear top hats and tails! Hahahaha
That is a great idea!
😆😆Silly thing! 🤣 Did you leave time for your freezer filling day?
We've one more sow to go and that one will be for our freezer. We hope to do that one in the next month or so
WORLD RECORD LOL
