Nice work Trek. The Domane is no more a "compromise" beetween the Madone and the Emonda. It has nothing to envy anymore.
Beautiful bike build sequence. Also loved those subtle transitions! 😉 Looking forward to more vids! 👌
Such an awesome bike! Love the new features. Keep up the good work fellas!
I have the trek domane SL5 2021 having the storage bag that slides inside your frame is an added bonus
Beautiful bike, nice video.
Love your work Jae👍 Awesome rig. I Love my Isospeed👍
Great video. I would love to get my hands on one of those! 😍
pro tip: you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies these days.
@Jaiden Trey yea, been watching on flixzone for since november myself :D
This bike is exactly what I'm after! Go anywhere!
Im so pumped. Throw on some thicker tires if you decide you want gravel and vice versa. Also i like how you could make it more aggressive by removing some of the stem spacers if you want a fast road bike
@@mikechivy do i have to change the wheels if i want to upgrade it into 35 or 38mm tires ?
@@nanezferrer3565 Nope
That looks like an awesome ride.
You forgot the best part, the t47 bb 😃
beautiful, can u tell me wich size is it?
Why doesn’t it come with the clutch rear derailleur if it is supposed to be gravel capable?
The new Domanes do not come equipped with the clutched derailleurs as the bike is made to be ridden on the road as well as the gravel. It was a choice Trek had to make to save weight and keep shifting smooth like a road bike should be. However, we would be happy to subsidise putting on a clutched derailleur on the bike if it makes the perfect bike for you.
@@omaracycles6923 can you put a v8 engine w a turbo 400 transmission on my domane?
@@Agent-vj3ns yes but preferred surpercharged
I’ll have mine in rock red please.
Does the storage compartment have it's own "box" inside the frame, or does it just give access to the entire downtube?
I'd like to be able to store at least two co2s and two tubes, plus some other stuff, and it's unclear if they would fit. This stuff all fits into a small saddlebag. If it opens up into the downtube, there would always be a way -- perhaps by chaining up two BITS bags, or putting the 2nd one in the other direction towards BB.
Alternatively: if you put two co2s and two tubes into the BITS bag, does it still fit into the downtube?
Trek have the Bontrager BITs bag to keep everything neat and tidy! You can check out all the details here: www.trekbikes.com/au/en_AU/equipment/cycling-accessories/bike-bags-baskets-panniers/bike-bags-panniers/bontrager-bits-internal-frame-storage-bag/p/26634/
Awesome bike 👍👍👍
Awesome bike but it would be nice if you guys would also showcase some more affordable examples like the SL6.
Looking at upgrading .. currently have an emonda alr4 love riding the coast road to Frankston and back from the city. But would also love something that I could potentially take out further on rougher roads. That would cope with a saddle bad and frame bag for a few days. I’ve seen it just breaks the 9kg mark on the lower SL models does it affect the performance and power ? Ie would you see a noticeable difference in your average kmph?
Hi Phil, we would love to give yo a few options and answer your questions in detail. Please send your contact details to sales@omaracycles.com.au and we get in touch with you in no time and find the perfect ride for you, to reach your goals.
Cheers
Phil from the Omara Cycles Team
Omara Cycles sent an email to that address but no reply just wondering if you received it ?
@@phildyer1689 we sent you an email this morning, hopefully it helps in searching for the perfect bike for your riding style.
Pls anyone mention
Diffrence between Sl5 vs SL6
Take my money!
Thanks Brian for your comments, happy to help you get on to one of these awesome new machines. New Domane Starting from $3999
Beautiful bike! What size frame is it?
This beauty is a 52cm.
Nice bike but the brake cable routing are not so clean to look at that being behind the stem/headtube...
What is the price of that beautiful bike in USD?
What size is that model
Yes, exactly | !
How much?
Weight of bike?
It literally says '3V' on both wheels, yet you point to and call it 'V3'. Why?
Also, if you had bothered to do your Trek U training, you would know that the;
B ontrager I ntegrated T ube S torage
is not called the Bontrager internal tool system.
but the question is, will it crit......
Is it available with 11 speed 105 groupset.
Domane SL 5 with beautiful colors available.
What’s the weight?
Heavy af
It is 8.48 kg for the bike in the video. The Domane SL 9 weighs 7.78 kg which is impressive for wide rims, large tyres, integrated storage and smoothing technology.
Nice, but that head tube cable/hose routing is very 2010 Giant Propel wouldn't you say?So... Not really up to date... Ruins the lines.
all that and you go ultegra???
Only the first of many! We have Dura-Ace, Sram AXS, Force ETAP and plenty more on the way.
the seat tube top tube junction looks super ugly

These kind of bikes are simply too expensive for hobby riders…
Wow....now it costs $11,000....
Better buy a motorbike. No, buy three motorbikes!!
"8999... very good value for money". Get real man, all these bikes are wayyy overpriced.
Great bike though :)
Hey Luke, glad to hear you like the look and design of the new Domane. This is the SLR version that runs Trek’s top of the line carbon, high quality components and their crazy Isospeed technology. Trek will still alternatively offer their Domane SL version of the bike so you can still get the comfort without breaking the bank.
Bicycles that cost as much as a car, NO THANKS.
Hey Rob, these bikes run Trek's top of the line 700 series OCLV Carbon as well as some of the nicest wheels out there. Trek do offer an SL version of the same bike that offers an amazing ride without braking the bank. The real question is where do we have the most fun, in our cars or out on our bikes exploring? We see as an investment in enjoyment and health :)
Only disc 👎
Yah, I will go for one if there is rim variant.
