اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَ الْقِلَّةِ وَ الذِّلَّـةِ وَ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ اَنْ اَظْلِمَ اَوْ اُظْلَمَ۔
O Allah! Verily I seek refuge in You from poverty, scarcity, humiliation, and I seek refuge in You that I may oppress anyone or that I may be oppressed by anyone.
Bless this beautiful mosque, EPIC Masjid represents a true blessing for Muslims living in America. I am in NYC, and I go to a similar mosque. Islamic unity, solidarity is very much needed.

Three reasons from the Quran that Allah promises his victory and help.
I think sheik meant surah al haj [22:40] instead of nur. It has the verse he was saying in the beginning.
ٱلَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَـٰرِهِم بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّآ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَٰمِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَٰتٌ وَمَسَـٰجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ كَثِيرًا ۗ وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ
Allah will not help those who are not faithful to him.
Allah decreed that he and his prophets will be victorious.
The three pillars
- Pray regularly, Gave Zakat, Command what is good and forbid what is evil. Quality of your relationship with Allah this is extremely important.
When in the battle of badr the sahabah united they won. During uhud they differed amongst themselves they lost.
- Muslim unity. Do no break up into different factions among yourself. All of us need to hold on to the rope of Allah. 21:92 says we are one ummah. Despite all of our differences we are one Ummah. Need to be able to cooperate with others despite having slight or major differences. We can get the help of others it doesn't mean we endorse those people.
- Prepare whatever power you can. Anfal [8:60]. Physical strength, plans, and techniques.
You forget that Surah Al-Mujadila [58:21] ''Allah has written [i.e., decreed], "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.''

"Allah's victory will be given to those who help Allah (help His cause)
When they are in a state of safety they:
A. Establish the prayer
B. Give Zakat
C. Command the good and forbid the evil"
2. UNIFY
"Hold fast all together to the rope of Allah, and do not separate"
3. PREPARATION & PLANNING
"Prepare yourselves (individually)"

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
My dear beloved shaykh I sincerely ask Allah to give you long life and more knowledge and wisdom. You are indeed one of the scholars I listen to very oftenly. I am just a very minor student of knowledge and I admire you so much. My shaykh while listening to your one of your last library chats I heard that you are planning to leave social media and that you will open a private space where students of knowledge can tune in and interact with you. This is a good idea for those students of knowledge who want to expand their knowledge of the deen. But my shaykh this day and age the general public needs to hear the preaching of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. I mean this that we need scholars who have great vision for the Ummah as a whole not just a scholar who is paid to preach a tyrant government's version of Islam. When you leave social media and the general public can't tune in and listen to your preaching of tolerance and peaceful coexistence while having great visions for the Ummah such people who caused you to leave social media have won and then there will remain their hateful preaching and trying to apply some 7th century ruling of their understanding of Islam which may be will not be applicable today. So my shaykh I humbly request that you reconsider your decision and stay for the good of the masses because the masses need to be educated and taught so that they can be helpful in building breaches instead of destroying and making Islam look barbaric and evil. The fanatical preachers out there who are sincere but lack knowledge and wisdom will only do harm to the religion of Islam and there is a need of such scholars like you who preach tolerance. May Allah bless you and keep you around. May Allah bless the Ummah with scholars who have visions. Aamiin❤❤
