Do y’all have those days where you rage quit off of a hard boss then next day you beat the boss first try
After trying 110 times before raging for the night? Absolutely. And then you feel like a total dumbass the next day
Nope. Never. I just kill myself. Thats why im dead now

Dude, you endured a somewhat aggressive boss for over 2 hours without any mistakes. You deserve all the praise.

@@purpleheart9160 even if its just an npc? Wow....i made it worse...(she died early 10% health...)
@@nozenkyuzero I believe it's 15% more hp per summon which isn't that bad compared to DS1 and 2 (50% per summon), but almost all of Midir's attacks are splash/aoe which can kill summons pretty easily. With a boss like Gundyr or Twin Princes who are focused on one target a time summons are recommended, but Midir is a big ass boss who hits multiple people with his attacks so it's easier to solo him imo
Thanks for putting me on the list, it really made my day and gave me a bit more motivation to finish my own dissertation for my University :) Congrats on finishing yours by the way, hope it'll only go uphill from here
ooh so that's why you haven't been posting! well good luck to you. and I really enjoy your videos, I've been trying to do that challenge where you killed gundyr with dung pie. 😂

Congrats to G-SOul and Parallax for snagging the top two spots. Not only are they amazing players, they're amazing people as well. Aw shit, I did NG+7 Midir with Torch couple of days ago. I didn't send it early enough it seems. D:
Oh well, I'm happy with third place.
Friede is much harder than Midir though D:
She is, so is Gael. I actually beat Gael with a torch already, but then I pressed triangle instead of square while in the PS4 share menu. I was a bit pissed off.. Oh well, now I at least know I can do it.
Also did you forget to send clips for SunlightBlade? I'm pretty sure you would've made Top 3 with your SL1 Torch Only Pontiff kill.
High Voltage Shouldn't it save to the capture gallery thing?
The triangle saves a screenshot. Square saves footage. The moment you exit the share button menu, all of the unsaved footage is lost. This is why I should get a capture card...
Good stuff on number 3 boi. I'm pretty damn sloppy at friede herself and I always get frostbitten somewhere in phase 2 ;/.
I'm gonna have to watch your vid maybe learn something. Also grab a sub boi
Should’ve called it “Top 10 Masochist Moments!”

The hardest boss is the camera
*inhales spliff*... word
that awkward moment when you’re a dark dragon and you get punched to death by a smurf
I was hoping to see Champ Gundyr being beaten with only dung pies and parries.
Don't you think beating him a torch would be much more skillful? :D
Because I did that, and it was actually fun! :D
+High Voltage You people are well and truly masochistic...
(edit: I'm a twat and got masochistic and sadistic messed up...)
That has been done though :P
Glazium the Cold King I know, I was referring to that.
Slipstream I actually submitted the dung pie video along with the one with Pontiff :) I'm glad he picked this one instead though, it required waaay more time and effort to pull off
When Midir started that crazy laser attack at the end there, I swear I had a small panic attack
I'm glad this video has become so popular, these players deserve recognition for how crazy they are
This video seems a lot better than your usual video for some reason, not that your usual videos aren't good. Good job
Probably cause I'm done with uni - and therefore in a good mood! :'D

TheDonutDevil He seems informed, rather than going "I had no idea you could parry Gundyr", "I think he's fighting Black Flume Frodo of the Shire", or similar statements. 😃
that made me lol. Funny.
i still think that one guy who memorized pontiffs moves has the best boss kill
Squilla Killa should've been number one. he ran through the whole game, killed every single boss (including dlc's) without taking a single hit. that is above and beyond
What about Otz? He did ds2, arguably the hardest in the series

I'm surprised SilverBullet993 and TolomeoR didn't send any clips for this list. They would've placed pretty high.
Could have been an error on my part (i.e not seeing the email) or perhaps they didn't have time to send anything in, I know life gets busy!
That's understandable. You probably get hundreds, if not thousands of submissions for these videos. That sort of work load shouldn't be taken lightly.

Nice boss kills and a lot of familiar youtubers! Congratz you all. I'm kind of happy my goofy submission didn't make it.
I personally think #2 is actually much, much harder to accomplish than #1 as Midir is predictable af. It just takes longer to beat him. Thus, you can still roll. But to kill freakin Gael WITHOUT ROLLING & healing? Damn I wouldn't even bother to try such a thing, that's straight up insanity.

I think the quickscoping one was actually a backwards-scoping run. The Player actually aimed through the Barrel of the Crossbow in the opposite direction to make sure every quick scope would be on target.
The one handed 360 parry champion fight.... the title should be "when your life is that freaking boring"
"Double riposte, oh my gawd! It's so beautiful! Double riposte all the way across the sky! Myyy god!

That last fight with Midir, I was imagining the blue guy making that noise Zoidberg does on Futurama.

god i love twin demons. that is probably my favorite boss fight in all of ds3.
The guy who killed pontiff was so confident he wasn't going to be hit he had Lloyd's sword ring on jesus.
man the Spears fight made my soul hurt. pretty funny and sad.
The only boss so hard I still haven’t beat is alcoholism.
3:49 -just like shooting at manus, you can also kill the gaping dragon with a bow as a summon from the balconies in number one. greatest part about this is by doing so you actually auto aggro the gaping dragon when doing this, and he cannot physically hit you. he only has a small chance to vomit on you. its really great when you show up with a dragon slayer greatbow to get a very quick and easy mass of souls.
The pontiff sulyvahn fight for me was the best, impressive
TOLD YOU DANIEL!!! You'd get in.
No poop throwing guy vs Gundyr?
When I first did Friede I had a character on NG+7 at about SL200 and it took me days to beat her... I only managed to beat her because I stopped playing Fashion Souls, but seeing a guy in NG+7 with a freaking torch is so devastating. D:
Congrats on being done with University, LightningBlade! :)
The no-roll challenges are bonkers! I liked to watch them, because I hate rolling.
6:26 I've found Tolo's son.
Bah, I've seen Midir SL1 NG+7 Fists only No sprinting rolling or blocking. Look up the channel of TolomeoR, he's done the whole series without rolling, blocking or parrying.
I have a story.
One day, I was going through Anor Londo, with a buddy, a Black Knight named Ra. We were invaded by two people, but the strange thing was, they were fighting each other! We prepared to attack the victor, but he waved us down. He was friendly and pledged his loyalty. I happily accepted, and he helped us with the area. To show thanks, I dropped two Embers. One for my summon, and the other for the friendly invader. No longer requiring their assistance, I back stepped off a ledge. They were my compatriots, and could never be replaced.
18:24 that man can say he punched a dragon to death... Chuck would be proud.
Tazerface, I thought you died.
i killed fried second try. wouldn't call it a really hard boss, more of a fun one. + her weapon is good for PVP. Also killed Gael second try. Probably the most fun boss fight.
yeah gael is fun not hard
i dont understand how people struggle with gael but have an easier time with midir than me
Friede is basically a bloodborne boss who got lost and ended up in dark souls
@@cindervee478 that's actually pretty accurate
That sniper crossbow vs Nameless King fight is pretty much just a way to play monster hunter in dark souls.
Dearest Sunlight Blade, the lightning in Slave Knight Gael's final stage isn't random, when he sends out the skulls from his cape (or wherever it is) they land on the ground and show a point where the lightning will strike
I'd probably be a sack o skin before I beat midir with nothing:(
I still have 3 exams to do before I finish university 😭 😭
Kokkie Monster 69 lol
Did you pass them?
Gael was such an amazing final boss for ds3. The setup to get there, the actual arena, the boss fight just before and the hidden secrets in the boss arena itself. You can find a ring knight, a weapon(forgot which one) and you can fight an NPC and get another slab. Just fantastic. Makes me sad that this game didn't get the third and final dlc we all hoped for. I love bloodborne but I was actually pissed off with the dlc because it truly needs one more installment cuz it's the first and only bloodborne game and they said they aren't planning on making a second one
There's another clip on Reddit floating around of a duded killing Midir with no blocking, parrying (yes you can parry his flames), or rolling, and every time Midir misses an attack, he throws a prism stone on the ground and does the clap emote.
I give up... I can never, ever even imagine the final entry... just a big fat load of NO!
Midir is piss easy. You just need to git gud scrub.
agha jan lol
agha jan That can he said about any boss in any game
Bro I wanna do the race thing on acient wyvern
Imagine being the God of War, the firstborn of the first of the Lords, riding a dragon into combat, getting exiled, having a cult grow up around you and your dragon's power, defeating countless Unkindled and...then a nearly naked man with a crossbow shows up and quickscopes you to death...
You can definitely parry Pontiff Sulyvahn.
A friend and I were doing a parry run through and you have to standard parry on phase one, then read his shades moves in phase 2 and parry after dodge. Super fun and rewarding win!
nice video, m'dear
hehe
Oscar of Astora Nice video,
Midir
Number 10 didn't feel right, was only a third of a boss kill
Kinda agree. Should be on a playlist for plunging attacks. Didn't even beat the boss :/
The dragon form fight with Pointiff Sulyvahn gave me immense anxiety.
6:24 that actually looks like an intresting exercise for master players, to limit the unnecessary rolls during PvP.
Last time I limited unnecessary rolls in PvP I died to a strike that missed me by 5 feet.
6:40 DRAGON BARE FISTIES CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
i did the first one too but i killed the boss after it
Figured out why the gatekeeper turns away when you put on the untrue rings. If you have active embers on you, you lose the embers aurora around your body when you put on the rings. she could look away in disgust for forsaking the flame.
hey SunlightBlade, just wanted to say I miss you.Watching your videos lifted up my mood and helped me to get rid of gloomy days. Please come back soon :(
Why do people consider Midir as one of the hardest bosses in the game? Sure, he has a lot of HP, but 99% of his attacks are easy to dodge. So even though he might take a lot of hits to kill, the chance of you getting hit is really low. Besides, hitting him in the head makes him stagger at around 30% HP, allowing you to insta-kill him with a riposte.
Ville Lepoaho very true, I never had much trouble with him so I don't understand all the hype. Same with Nameless King.
Ville Lepoaho 1 hour 25 mins soul level 1 used 1 estua flask that's what the hype is about
because most people don't know your supposed to stay in front of him and hit his head so they instead go for his tail/feet and treat him like a typical souls dragon boss which doesn't end well since midir is pretty much designed to punish you if you try and stay behind and under him
But just because a boss is hard for idiots, doesn't make the boss actually challenging. It's like when someone fights High Lord Wolnir, and doesn't realize to attack the bracelets. Or someone actually fighting the Ancient Wyvern, instead of plunging it. Once you learn it, it becomes super easy.
Ville Lepoaho I fought the Ancient wyvern to 1/4 health before finding out about the plunge cause I thought it was just a boss with a massive health pool and killed yhorm by slashing at his hand cause I didn't see the stormruler
you can parry pontiff
Yup, I mentioned that at 6:44
andy897221 we know,he said that in the video
I honestly didn't even think Gael was that hard. I beat him on NG7 without taking a single hit, then went to help another person beat him on new game 11. I told him to sit back and allow me to go to work, where I proceeded to completely destroy him in my abyss Watcher gear without taking a single hit.
The most stressful thing I have ever done in ds3 and series in general is when I first tried dark eater midir on ng+1 and then again on a different character on ng+3 I have since earned my brothers undying respect
8:43 is why I bring a bunch of healing spells when I'm the spear of the church...
Imagine being a god-like dragon that was raised by the gods themselves and then a naked Smurf runs into your cave and beats you to death with his bare hands
people sometimes don't realize how much more difficult these last 3 are, especially the frida and Midir one. They are spanding more then 20 min each in doing something perfectly without messing up. Try tapping a table in one exact rhythm for 20 min straight, doing something as simple as that is extremely difficult to do perfectly even for 10 min straight
Holy crap, 1 1/2 hours of punching a dragon in the face. That's the most metal thing I've ever heard.
