Yes after watching puddin and slick on the metal work . I decided after waiting years for a guy to do metal work for me, to get on Facebook marketplace and find some metal working equipment. Found some 10 hour drive from my place . So after 24 hours on the road got home . Got some metal had a play around. Now ready to do some floor pans
Slick is one heck of a good guy and a fine fabricator.

I think, even though it's tedious and very time consuming, sheet metal work is super important and actually kind of fun to do. It's hard because you need to have patience and do it right to make it look good, but man once it's done and it looks good, it's SUCH a relief. It looks GREAT guys.. nice work, really good lookin floor and firewall.
Buy you a set of Midwest offset tinsnips. Reds and Greens. Offsets allow you to cut curves and circles without bending and distorting the metal as much. Also never cut to the end of the snip unless you are notching.
Was gonna suggest the same. Midwest seems to be what people who work with sheet metal every day use. I have a worn out pair handed down from a roofer friend and they’re better than brand new ones from every other brand I’ve tried.

Slick seems to be getting much more comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Maybe someday we will be watching Slick each week as well.

You two are genius sheet metal makers! I still would use a Ford 302 or 351 engine instead of GM. The distributor in front makes it so easy to fit and work on.
Today starts my adventure into Datsun L24 swapping my 85 nissan 720 2wd. I'm heading to pick up the engine and a parts 4 speed this afternoon. I'd have never dreamt of tackling this project without your dedication to your channel man. Right as I was putting floors mounts and a firewall in my truck you were building the 620. Pissed me off you were done first but I've never been more inspired and it's not worn off.
It'll be a tight fit but I've found so much support wherever I've asked for info on parts it's unbelievable. The Datsun community is the best. From the guys at O'Reilly's to the rotsun forum and Even the engine seller.
PS say taduh more. Makes my soul happy.

The snips that you are using are directional , reds are rights which turn left, greens are lefts that turn right and yellow are straights. Awesome job!!!

hey puddins back in the 60 and 70s when i was young i had a bunch of 62 3 and 4 chevys i was always cracking distributer caps i could not believe how much a stock 327 would move on its mounts my soulution back then at 18 years of agewas to hook a chain between the exaust manafold and the upper aframe limiting travel i havn't thought about that in years but watching you brought back a lot of memories

Definitely appreciate Slick's body work eye. I'll always be the guy in the background that says "dang that's sweet" as I drive 12 self tapping screws through a yield sign. Looks like a super sweet event. I'll try to make the next one for sure.

I love the build it grew on me. I will say that distributor is position isn't the end of the world as long as you can get the cap off. I've had HEI fail on me in different vehicles but it was usually the wire popped out where it spins or the little black box in there.
I know the people that hate on everything never bother you. In fact, you like the joke about it But I really like watching you and slick work together and I enjoy your videos bro always🔥🔥🔥🔥
