And your family is WHY you are doing all this work, so taking time off to be with family is just as important as supporting them.

Don't know that you will see this, but here is a trick I learned for the pneumatic body saw. I took and cut a good hacksaw blade the length I needed from the tool side and used that in my body saw. Worked better than any blade I could buy for the body saw.
I second this and my cheap ass bought some harbor freight hack saw blades and they worked out real good I was surprised
I do the same thing but, they don't last as long a a decent body blade. A hell of a lot cheaper though and when it snaps you just laugh and use another.

Tip of the day: Use some rubber caps to slide over the back side of nut certs to hide them a little better.
I was thinking about welding in studs and slide in colum from top keep firewall clean.

1/4" thick felt would make a decent weather seal for the brake pedal arm and throttle rod. Added bonus, you can use a small dab of grease to improve the sealing and prevent rust.

Props on the editing of welding up the floor the parts in between the tack welds were back to back without any unnecessary
Cable throttle kit from Speedway Motors is what you need. Slip it through a rubber grommet for a watertight seal; the outer sleeve of the push/pull cable does not move. We used them on race cars without any trouble. Same system is used on boats.
Hey Puddin, you could try using a piece of leather to seal the throttle rod, doesn't need lube, cheap to replace if/when it wears out. Just a thought. Cheers, from Ontario, Canada.

That engine will torque toward the passenger side. You can put a solid mount on the drivers side and a rubber on the passenger side to avoid excessive body shake. Don't worry about the steering shaft.

In my opinion, A manual GM tilt column is the best Bang for your Buck. In your model A. That gives you turn signals, hazard lights, horn, tilt and Ignition all in one.

There are grommets made for linkage through a firewall. Also, look into antigravity batteries. Check out the battery cables and plug wires seven sins choppers makes. They've got some sweet colors I think would compliment this rig.
That curved bead roll on the firewall was a great touch!
A guy can appreciate the effort you are putting into this build. You say making all these parts removeable is good, i refer to that as “serviceable”. As a mechanic thats always important to me.

59:43 just bought a nut cert tool because of this channel. I need to put steps on my truck and they left the nut certs out on a few holes. Thanks to this channel i was able to know how to fix that situation.

Jacob, go to Lowe's to the aisle with the bolts and specialty stuff in those drawers. (1 big black solid rubber stopper and drill the size hole you need for needed [grommet] it to fit gas pedal linkage to reduce squeak).
I didn't sit all week... And that's why it took me until Friday night/Saturday morning to watch this 😁

I am glad that Ashley surgery went well. Now she needs heal up. I know all about heart surgery. My dad had gone 2 quadruple bypass. Last year he needed another surgery to fix a valve kept blown out. He will be 75 this year. He is doing great. Model A looking good. It's coming along Jacob! I really enjoy watching your dance moves. I really enjoyed watching your videos.
