On Letting Go guitar vibes. Loving it.
Actually the intro of the song until the first verse songs like a modded version of glass arrows then on letting go
Michael Westen glass arrows was on blue sky noise.
Definitely more Mandala
Whenever I listen to this album, I get this feeling and vibe that no other album produces. Definitely a unique piece of art.
Oh shit hey Hansol :)
Hansol thats how I'v always felt about every Circa album
imagine being on a Pirate ship, and youre the best swordsman.
worked for me
Lex That's exactly how I feel. Like I'm on a pirate ship.
The drums are wild in this record. Damn.
Every 3 months the opening pops into my brain
It makes me sad to think that some people actually have negative things to say about this album. It's fucking phenomenal.
It's amazing. Still listening to this today, even after purchasing it on day 1.
Musically one of their best albums.
Was the second album I heard from the group. It’s my favorite album from them.
Sounds really generic
@@leeeverett2525I go back and forth on this album. Sometimes I agree that it sounds generic but other times I’m digging it lol
this is my favorite song on the album, i can listen to the whole album the whole way through without skipping any but this is definitely my favorite one.
Circa is superior. They will be making good music for a long time. Anthony is a legend to me. Definitely a unique individual to the music scene of my generation. They will be my favorites till they put me in the ground. I have a sickness and the only cure is more Circa.
No cowbell?
If Anthony is a legend to you, then shouldn't Colin, Brendan, Nick, and Steve also be legends to you?
championchristmas1 they are all so fucking talentted as a group
***** seriously tho man listening to circa with subs is amazing
For real
I love how his voice bounces so perfectly off the guitars in the chorus
Absolutely my favorite song of Descensus, I wish they'd play it live in Mexico the next month💕
Did they?
Unfortunately not, but anyway they killed it. ❤
this is the quintessential mature example of CS concept, I feel. The message is deep. it rocks but has total depth. Never disappointed from the days of my youth driving around in my first car to the first album.
Hard Mandala feels at the starting seconds ☺️
Exactly what I was thinking!
And then everything after that sounds NOTHING close to the greatness of Mandala. I'm really trying to like this song as well as quiet down but it's sad to say they just aren't very good songs.
Andrew Ramirez
lol, is that the word? On Letting Go is my absolute favorite album on earth but this is really really good
Scott Andrew
to me at least
this brings me back to circa's old style, first time I've gotten nostalgia from a new album.
Best song on the album to me. Could change.
I feel the same way. It will definitely change for me after buying the album.
Edit: After listening to most of the album through a few times, Always Begin speaks to me more than any song I've listened to in a while, so it's now my favorite.
Child of the desert, gotta give this album a few more listens though.
This entire album was pretty good.
Absolutely my favorite song of Descensus, I wish they'd play it when they come to Mexico next month 💕
This is hell easily the most beautiful I've heard this decade so far.
They're so underrated
it's been 2 years now. omg, time pls.
If Juturna and On Letting Go had a baby it would be this. Just fucking amazing.
i feel like its juntura style mixed with violent waves!
jesse Christmyer Well, I think its like if you mixed juturna with on letting go with violent waves with blue sky noise. If you ask me...
+John Lichtenberg Nah, Descensus seems to have its own sound to me. It doesn't have the youthfulness that Juturna has, nor the open ended quality of On Letting Go. The indie/hard rock that was on Blue Sky and Violent Waves is also absent. I'm getting lots of progressive rock vibes as well as more metal influences on Descensus.
sounds like juntura and violent waves combined!!! love it!
Man, this album is amazing!
Circa Survive w/ a Sumerian Records recording, so perfect.
Interesting how the first few seconds of this song made me like it. I like the rest but really only took the first 3 seconds to get me hooked and plugged in.
That’s because those 3 seconds sound like the song Mandala from On Letting Go. That’s what got me
Probably one of my favs along with Schema, Child of the Desert, and Nesting Dolls
Favorite song from this new album!
was at the SF concert, amazing!
Lucky I wanted to go! did they do an encore song? last time I seen them they did get out for the encore
yeah they did get out as an encore also lol
nice!
never wanted to beg for you
I never wanted to ask anyone for their help
I know the one I got
Don't know exactly what I want
I'm just making a fatal mistake... from my show
There is always a face you'll make
Whenever you don't believe (I need you there)
And I don't know what I want from you
I can't tell if I lost anything that I need
Always begin before you'd ever prepare
Never think twice about
Nothing will come until you're already there
Never think twice about it all
I never wanted to take from you
Love everything that you wanted me to have safe
I know it wasn't true (you know exactly what I want)
And I'm just making it way too fucked up for myself
There is a face you'll always make (that tell me)
Whenever you don't believe (I need you there)
And I don't know what I want from you (...could choose)
I can't tell if I lost anything that I need
Always begin before you'd ever prepare
Never think twice about
Nothing will come until you're already there
Never think twice about
I know a thousand ways to go (never know)
That is no way of living though (let you know)
Always begin before you ever prepare
Never think twice about it all
I made my bed
Now I live in my doubt
I'll change my mind
And all the ways I breathe
There are a thousand ways to go (never know)
Let go of everything you know (please tell me )
Give up on everything you think you need (let me know)
let me show (please tell me)
Always begin before you'd ever prepare
Never think twice about
Nothing will come until you're already there
Never think twice about it all
This song and album gives me chills
Awesome... I thought this was Mandala at the start!
Best album I've listened to. Honestly.
War All The Time by Thursday.... That's the best album you'll ever listen to.
aa como me da satisfação quando voces lançam aubum novo
very nice. circa has my total love n support
anthony is actually a really cool guy. can't wait to see them in april and hang with these dudes once again. go check out Secret Eyes!
why ?
ughh this song ❤❤❤❤❤
I hope they play this and Nesting Dolls when I see them next week!!
So far I sense both on Letting Go and Blue Sky Noise vibes. I'm not complaining, I love those records.
this is such a fucking good album. im impressed even by a circa fan's standards, whos been around since juturna.
Love it!
So f****ing awesome, great job guys, you are the best
Aw! The beginning reminds me of Act Appalled
so so so damn good
im fucking buying this
At first I was like, damn I'm gonna DL this off youtube right now.. then I was like wait, Circa can take my money any day
Kevin Coronel at this point there are like 4 bands I would pay money for a cd: Mew, Deftones, Pink Floyd, and Circa Survive.
It's a great album to buy. Especially if you get a physical copy of it.
John Lichtenberg Hell yeah man! I didn't know Deftones dropped new music but the Floyd album is pretty good as well!
I MADE MY BED!
NOW ILL NEVER LIE DOWN!
so mandala!
Oh yes baby
This reminds me of being in philly
I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for circa adn Jesus the savior
Kinda dissapointed that Circa isn't touring in MN. Would've been sick to hear this live.
They were a couple years ago...and I was there. It was amazing!
Fuck watching them live is sick as fuckkkk
I love this f****** song
so freeakin' good
Mandala vibes
Bro them 3 seconds definitely!
Ill change my mind and all the ways I breathe...
Continuation of mandala
Spot on comment
Holy shat.
This album is good. As in good I don't mean bad as just saying good. Been a circa fan since h.s. lost interest in them all together til this album. Wel done. Well done. I still miss armor for sleep. But circa is legit again. Wish my home slice was on the drums. What a dumb dumb.
:'( i miss armor as well.
Good album none the less
I don't miss Smile for Them. Now, What to Do When You Are Dead is a heavily under appreciated album.
I have three words for you Joe, BLUE SKY NOISE.
03:09
releasing music to fans is like tossing a steak into a pack of over criticizing wolves.
Much better sound, much improvement, I hope they continue in this direction, they could've gone the Blue October way, but luckily they didn't...
True, because then they wouldn't sound like circa, just an off brand.
Gary Stephens
More like Mandala Part 2.
This record is how I got off heroin
Lyrics
another illuminate band
unless your rolling stone magazine then keep it under your fuckin hat. everyone's a critic.
gaythony
Yo mama
***** Thsnk you I try.
That's not creative enough. No thank you.
You first then tell me how it goes?
i cringed when he started singing.......
get the f outta here
seriously man, do you even have ears? this dude couldnt carry a tune in a bucket.
theundeadtalkinghead if that were true he wouldn't be singing in a band, let alone have a record deal.
Anthony Green (the singer) actually has a highly tuned vocal range. Now, you may not like his style of singing, which is fine, but to say he can't sing in tune, leads me believe that you are the one who doesn't have ears.
Absolutely my favorite song of Descensus, I wish they'd play it when they come to Mexico next month 💕
